The front office staff was pleasant and helpful. The wait was just a few mins. I saw Dr. Jared Smith during my recent urgent care visit. I was having severe ear pain, dizziness and a low grade fever. I have ruptured my eardrum before so I knew this was a possibility. Dr Smith was so thorough, attentive and knowledgeable. He was easy to talk to and didn't make me feel rushed through my visit. He was able to give me clear and concise instructions for the application of the medication I needed and explained everything in a way I understood. Drove 30 mins here for my toddler who wasn't feeling well to be turned away by the front desk and told "he needs to see a pediatrician" Um hello don't you think that's the first place I would take him if I could?? His pediatricians office is 1 hr away, this was closer and you're an urgent care office!! You should take patients of all ages! Ended up at skylands urgent care in Franklin where they took great care of my buddy and got us in and out. It was an ear infection- any doctor could've diagnosed that. However- they wouldn't even let us past the front desk. Will absolutely never return and they deserve zero stars! read more

Since this is the nearest urgent care to my home, I decided to go there, this morning, despite reading the negative reviews. I arrived at 10.20 am and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. Having completed some routine intake paperwork, I was seen by a very efficient nurse, and nurse practitioner within minutes. Blood samples were taken, I was given a tetanus, and a prescription, and was out of there within half an hour. I found the visit to be thorough, the staff to be very welcoming and professional, and would use the facility again, if necessary in future. Additionally, my co-pay was negligible. read more

In the past month I have been here 3 times for 3 separate issues and every time I have either not been given an answer or given incorrect information. If that is not bad enough expect to wait well over an hour in this waiting room ... even if you get there when they open. My most recent issue here was over drug screening. I called the day before arriving asking if they could administer a standard drug screen for working in schools. They said everything would be fine just show up with my paperwork. After showing up I proceeded to wait in the waiting room for over an hour only to be told they can't administer my drug screening and I have to go somewhere else. As if I have all day to waste sitting in waiting rooms. I would suggest never going here unless it's absolutely dire , but even then don't expect to be helped. read more

Just go to the hospital. I went here once with a kidney problem they basically kicked me out saying "this is an urgent care what do you want us to do?" Went back with laryngitis and the doctor was so terrified of Covid despite me being vaccinated she would barely get near me to look in my throat and was like getting startled yelling "put the mask back on, put it back on" before then accusing me of essentially making up the pain and clearly being irritated I didn't have much of a voice. She basically told me nothing was wrong and it was in my head as my throat was in searing burning pain. Gave me a number of a throat doctor who doesn't even take referrals from them. Ended up on the hospital waiting 7 hours to finally get something for pain and a steroid. This place and it's Newton counterpart are basically fake offices that are only set up for drug testing they aren't equipped in any way to handle anything health related. read more

I wish I could leave zero stars. They're so rancid there. I went in with a NEGATIVE covid test, I have a sore throat and congestion. They made me wait for over an hour just to tell me to leave and help me in no way. Whatsoever. I guess they think sore throats were never a thing before covid. The doctor here (Morecraft) was TERRIBLE. How do you leave a patient not knowing if they have Lyme disease or an upper respiratory infection? Threw a prescription for antibiotics at me and sent me on my way. No time to for me to ask questions. Spent less then five minutes with me. $90 For LESS THEN FIVE MINUTES. I only gave one star bc no stars was not an option. The rest of the staff was wonderful, but that doctor was the worst. read more

I couldn't hear out of one ear and came in to get the ear cleaned out. Dr. Morecraft took a quick look, told me it was an infection (condescendingly, "I can't just rinse it out, it's infected!"), gave me a prescription, and left me sitting there alone before I could ask any questions. $70 for ear drops later and 10 days later, it wasn't any better, so I went to a regular doctor -- who confirmed it was, in fact, earwax and cleaned it out in about two minutes. Went in for a sinus infection after my son and husband had been put on antibiotics the two previous days for sinus related issues. Wait time as very short and staff was very friendly, but the doctor was extremely lacking in knowledge regarding breastfeeding. When he asked me why I hadn't taken anything for my symptoms, I told him I am avoided decongestants due to the fact that I am breastfeeding and had only been using saline spray. Less than 5 minutes later he told me to try Sudafed for a few days, then Flonase, and finally amoxicillin if the first two didn't work. Sudafed is well known to deplete milk supply, so this was not an option for me. When I asked about the prescriptions for Flonase and amoxicillin being compatible for breastfeeding he said he didn't know and then looked it up on his phone. He clearly was not listening when I told him multiple times I was breastfeeding and treatment needed to be compatible with that. Go somewhere else if you are a nursing mom. read more

The one receptionist with the short hair was very rude named Marlene. She not only talked bad to my mom, but after getting my tetanus shot, she said "better watch out. It's gonna hurt in a couple of days" and smiled. It didn't hurt after a couple of days, thx for tryna worry me. Also, the doctors don't really seem like they want to be there. My one doctor blew her nose and then touched my laceration without washing her hands. They aren't urgent either, as they make u fill out paperwork before u go in. read more

Bottom line first: I was treated by Dr. Limarzi at Urgent Care in a rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful manner. The details: I visited Urgent Care for treatment of an upper respiratory condition which happens to me typically twice a year, and for which I have been treated there before. This visit began with friendly, courteous, and professional interactions with office staff and the nurse. Then Dr. Limarzi came in, very briefly checked me, and told me I had nothing but a common cold. When I gently questioned this diagnosis, he became very defensive, rude, and disrespectful. As I walked away he badgered me and as I walked back into the reception area, he told me to never come back again. Final chapter to this story is that Urgent Care management would not return my call to discuss the incident. End of story. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR RISK YOURSELF COMING HERE. Please do not make the same mistake I made and ignore the other reviews. My family and I (2 adults & 2 kids) went in late September requesting to get tested for the flu. I informed the receptionist we had all been covid tested and came back negative, but continued to have flu like symptoms 3+ days later. The office refused to test us because "it is not flu season". According to CDC you can get the flu in the Fall (which officially started) and winter. I asked the office multiple times why they would not provide us with the testing we were seeking and they replied because they did not test for flu unless it was flu season and if we had flu symptoms they would just try to find "other reasons or ways to treat our symptoms". I've never heard of something so absurd at a medical office nor have I heard of an urgent care or any doctors office declining a medical service despite being equipped and able to handle our request. I'll start off by saying that my husband does NOT have any health insurance . So in choosing to go and pay out of pocket to be seen by a medical professional one would expect a certain level of care . HOWEVER there wasn't any care or compassion for that matter to be found in this office. My husband went in with very low grade fever , ( fever symptoms that accompanied said fever ) and a sore throat. Both himself and my son had strep throat about a month ago and it was all of the same symptoms. Dr Limarzi saw my husband this time and quickly diagnosed him with the flu. No throat culture or flu swab performed, gave him a prescription for tamiflu and sent him on his way. When I spoke to my husband I advised him to go back and insist upon the proper screenings to confirm the diagnose and rule out possibility of strep again. However the Dr REFUSED to do either test. REFUSED. Despite my husband explaining we have very small children at home and wanted to be sure he was taking the proper course of treatment. So he traveled another 20 minutes out of the way to a second urgent care where they quickly did a rapid strep test which proved positive, and prescribed the necessary antibiotics. The arrogance and ignorance of Dr. Limarzi in deciding to send my husband home completely untreated for the strep throat allowing him to possibly infect our entire family rather than perform a test is unfathomable. And I can only hope that someone who may not have the gut feeling to question a diagnosis not ever encounter this dr because it may not end as well as it had for us . read more

Like another reviewer went here for a clogged ear canal. Wanted to get it flushed and all the ear doctors in the area were booked for days. They accepted my insurance according to the website, once I got there they informed me they dont take the Garden State network....did I leave NJ and not realize? So I ended up paying full price. Once the lady came in to give me treatment she just filled up a flushing kit with warm water you can buy on Amazon for about 20 bucks. Ive had this done elsewhere over the years and each time they mix a cleaning agent, generally 3% hydrogen peroxide mixed with warm water to to assist the breakdown of wax and flush it out. So with nothing but warm water she then decides to start jabbing this probe into my ear and flushing. Im pretty sure her eyes were closed because she was just going to town stabbing my ear canal like she was trying to take the temperature of a Thanksgiving turkey. Granted she removed some wax but when it finally felt like she may be making some progress she claimed she didnt want to go anymore and possibly damage my ear drum, based on the performance thus far, wasn't too comfortable myself having her continue. Ive grown pretty accustomed to hearing the past 40 years or so, Id like to keep it that way. When I told her it still feels jammed up she claimed my ear was clear and its just water, go home and take Sudafed to dry it out. Apprehensive about the advice followed instructions like she said...needless to say it did nothing. Spent the next 3-4 days in significant pain, not because of the clog but all the jabbing this lady did in my ear. Days later finally got in with a real doctor. He removed the impacted wax that the urgent care doctor claimed wasn't in there, and he did it quickly with little to no pain. All fixed up thanks to Dr. Reddy, the ENT doctor 5 minutes up the road from butcher shop....I mean urgent care. read more
