I hired another business for the post renovation cleaning for $2150.00, but did request Servpro for the duct cleaning. The appointment was scheduled for a Tuesday at 9:00am. By 9:30am that day Servpro had not shown. I called and was told the person's dog had, had a stroke that morning and he would be there shortly. Next conversation was they would call when he was on his way. At 11:30am I called and canceled. At that point he was 2.5 hrs late, and 2 hrs after I was told he would be there shortly. We had already been told by other businesses that this was an all day job due to compound joint dust in the duct system as well as a first duct clean in a 96 year old home. By 11:30am we knew he could not give a full days work. We were also told he was an independent contractor they had hired. At that point we didn't find this person reliable. When I called to cancel apparently he was there. I had just left 5 minutes before and said please have him vacate the property if he is really there. I went back 5 minutes later and he wasn't around. I question if he had really shown up.

If i get a call answered they make up excuses why they can't work or will flat out hang up on me. I've now have hired an attorney to demand they finish work. Not only did they not finish the work, they didn't do a great job on the work they did do. He is an arrogant man!!! FYI - we signed a contract March 21st and paid half the money down to have 1 window (which we had already bought), a front door w/storm door and a back door (which we also already had), siding and gutters put on our house.
