My nail tech was Vicky and she did an awesome job in a) making sure my wine cup runneth over and b) making my nails look fly. For those nit picky folks...almost everyone I encountered speaks perfect English. So there. She didn't ask me tons of questions and she let me relax. She made suggestions that made my nails look amazing. They have TONS of options and they do nail styles other than Nexgen. Plus...45 bucks. That's 10 bucks cheaper than my regular joint. Second time going there and I lucked into having Andy do my pedicure both times. I will be making an appointment with him from now on. He clearly takes pride in his profession and it shows. Best massage and great attention to detail. He asked about water temperature, offered a drink, made sure the pressure and hot stones weren't too much. I wanted a pale green and they tried 4 times to find a color that worked but all the nail polishes were cheap. Some wouldn't stick and others looked more like urine then green. So I asked them to stop and they I didn't want to continue with the service thinking "There's no way I'm getting charged for this." Boy was I wrong. He still charged me $18 for a basic manicure. And when I said that was unfair he just kept arguing with me. We still tipped because it's not the manicurist's fault that the manager and products at this establishment sucks. For example.... If a restaurant tried 4 times to correct my order and failed all 4 times, I would not get charged for the water and plates. So why did they charge me for something that was not my fault?? read more

I went there about a week ago to get nails and a pedicure. The service was fine until I got the bill. I had nails on and was getting dip powder. In the description of for the dip it says "free take off with dip powder*. While I came with nails already on I was charged to "take them off" which the girl Lee did not do and charged for "length" which I already had (FYI they are short). When i asked about this i was given some jargon about having acrylic on my nails which nothing like that is mentioned when it comes to removal. It seems more common in these places for them to lie and add charges to your bill. I'd really like to get the owner/mangers input because this is just deceitful business practice. Went in to have Nexgen removed. Decided to get regular manicure which is $15. Total $20 altogether. Not bad prices but I expect a little more attention to what's being done. After the removal he didn't bother to smooth out my nail before applying the nail polish. Now I got a scratchy looking polish with bumps all over. I could've done a better job myself at home. I should've said something about it but I figured what's the point, won't be coming back anyways and seeing how quickly he went to another customer ( probably getting something more expensive , I doubt they care. Just to add: I didn't get a refund because I didn't say anything. I was pretty much speechless that they would leave a customer's nail in that condition and didn't want to spend anymore time there. I just moved and needed a new salon. I read several positive reviews on google so I decided to give this salon a try and asked for Kate. I had an awful experience :( I asked for someone named Kate because I'd read several people say she was great. I'm now thinking they were fake reviews that were posted in an effort to get a new nail tech more clientele. She was very young and seemed very inexperienced. I asked her for the dark pink for my American manicure (instead of the pale pink/peach they normally use). She insisted I use the one she had already went to get before she sat down and said it was because the one she chose will, "cover the white line better", which makes no sense because it's not a French manicure it's an American manicure! I said twice I wanted the dark pink and she seemed irritated that I even asked. I've been doing this combo for years and I know a lot of other people who do this too! She did not speak the entire hour and seemed very rushed throughout the whole thing even though nobody was there waiting or anything when she finished with me. The worst part though was that she filed underneath my nails so hard that she cut into my skin and I started bleeding (see pics below) and then didn't even bother apologize at all! She just went back to filing them as if nothing had happened. Then she poured cuticle oil on my cuticles, told me to wash my hands, and then she went to the back and disappeared. She didn't rub the oil or lotion on my hands after... just lazily poured oil on my cuticles and basically told me to leave. I was charged $87 for a nexgen manicure and pedicure. I have never felt so angry leaving a nail salon before. Horrible experience. Very poor customer service skills and ZERO skill when it came to the actual manicure. Sliced into my fingers with a file. Shitty attitude. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

My daughter went in to get a fill and they took off her nails expecting her to pay more money for new set. Who does this? Then guy named Mike goes on to want to charge her for removal of nails when she didn't ask them to remove the nails she originally had on. My daughter felt so violated after being a loyal customer for 3 years. To make things worse this Mike followed her out the business and recorded my 17 year old. BTW I'll admit I am picky when it comes to nails - nothing worse then paying a lot of money and going home unhappy. To start, the customer service was wonderful. Dawn (owner or manager I am not sure) is so sweet and engaged! She's working the salon the whole time. They also have the best massage chairs EVER! I was a walk-in (and not in a rush) so they did my pedicure first and then my manicure. It was busy there today so if you're in a time crunch I would let them know or schedule an appointment :) They offer a point program, where after 10 visits you get 30% off - who doesn't love a discount?! Super sad I have to give this place a bad review! The service was amazing but check out was not... I got a basic pedicure and simple nexgen dipping powder without tips... I got my natural nail length. However when I went to checkout I was in a hurry and did not look at my receipt until getting home. When I look at my receipt I notice they not only charged me for tips on my nails but on my toes as well!!! Adding an extra 13 dollars to my bill!! Very upsetting... super unprofessional of them. The person at check out was aware that I did not get tips on either of my toes or nails but yet still proceeded to charge me for both and allow me to go forward in paying for it. Not the quality I was hoping for based on some of the reviews and pics. Tried again b/c I saw they were under new management. Powder is see through at nails beds and paid an extra $5 for the long nails (sarcasm) and another $5 to clip the dead skin from around the cuticles. They did not disclose any prices to me. Coffin shape? Eh, most are kinda coffin I guess. Ladies: almost everyone else in town charges $35 including tips and dry cuticle clipping after drilling your nails. Pedicure left my feet feeling like super coarse sandpaper. I didn't come in with dry calluses but sure left with them. Will go home and fix that for them. :( I hate when pampering yourself means living with less than stellar nails and fixing your own feet. Boo. First off, I asked for a very light blue, but my nail lady chose a whole different color (a WAY darker blue) and used that as my color instead. I had requested to get my old set of acrylics removed, and a fresh set put on, but with ombre style. The male nail tech did not remove the old set and just filed the old acrylic down till my nails were completely destroyed and I was in pain from the filing. He then proceeded to add the ombré style acrylic on top. He messed it up multiple times and just kept filing more and then soaking them off. I finally told him that if he's not comfortable doing ombré the correct way, I will gladly take regular acrylic with gel polish. He then gets a blue colored acrylic and starts to put it on my nails. Immediately, I noticed it and told him that's not what I asked for and to please take it off. He then soaked my nails again and drills some more. By that time, my nails were misshapen, even more damaged and a complete mess and I was fed up almost to the point of tears. I ended the service, paid for the incomplete removal and left.
