Last time trying acrylics here. It's convenient and they're very nice and clean. Whatever they use the product is cheap. Doesn't last chips off I've paid so much money to get my nails done here about three different times and each time it just seems overpriced and poorly done. The one time I had my nails done they looked fantastic and they started to chip and break within a week. I had to go back and have a female manager fix it but it just seems to be that the tips or the bond something isn't right. Like I am pretty irritated because of the amount that I've paid and they were pretty nonchalant about it so it seems to be happening a lot. This last time my manicure lasted one week and then all of it came off like rubber. This is similar quality to what I could get if I did my hands at home. The shaping was not great. The only time I've really had a good nails done here that looked great it was by a girl but like I said they were breaking and shipping and painful even within a week. I got my nails done by Vivian and brought a friend with me. We both got nexgen and the entire time being there Vivian and the woman doing my friends nails were talking shit and making it very obvious. Which I don't care if you want to talk badly about me, but at least keep it to where it's not so obvious. That's just disrespectful, and unprofessional. My friends nails fell off within 4 days. My nails look terrible, the shape is oval when I asked for almond. And to top everything off I got the same nails I got in the previous weeks but was charged 15$ more? The worst nails I've gotten in a long time. Went for a pedicure and dip mani. Their color selection is VERY limited and basic. Not much of what's in and current. The owner had her daughter in the shop - adorable little girl but not only did she try to drink my drink (which I didn't make a big deal of because she's a child) but because they weren't really watching her, she came over and touched my toe while it was wet with polish. Again, totally understandable that she's curious, but why aren't you watching her?! My nails were not smooth and just overall a terrible job. Will never go back. A beautiful nail salon with wonderful service. Each time I've gone, someone greets me at the front of the salon within seconds. The owner goes above and beyond to get you started as soon as possible. The longest I've ever had to wait as a walk-in was maybe 5 minutes. The staff here are always pleasant, always doing what they can to make your visit comfortable and relaxing. They have some of the most beautiful polish colors I've seen! And every time, no matter what color I get - I always get compliments from friends and coworkers. I'm always hesitant to try a new nail salons, especially this one cause they only had 17 reviews.. but I'm really glad I took the chance! I came in on a Thursday night, wanting Nexgen & they weren't busy. I was greeted immediately, and was given a drink option. The atmosphere of the salon is really relaxing and beautifully decorated. My nail tech was Holly, she was nice, and really great! I decided I wanted this nude color, and she was nice enough to do all 3 coats on my pinky finger so I could see how the color would truly look like after activated. And when the first color wasn't to my liking she was not rude about me wanting to change my color. I really appreciated how she took her time with my nails, being gentle, and asked me multiple times if they looked good & to my liking. I've had prior experiences at other salons where they would rush and don't even bother asking you your opinion.. so I'm really glad she cared enough to make sure my color, and the shape I wanted was everything I wanted! MOST PAINFUL PEDICURE EVER! I decided to try this place and what a bad decision! I ended up with raw spots and a cut toe from when "Leon" ripped and cut away a chunk of skin along the side of my toe. It bled bad n is now swollen and very sore. All 3 raw spots are also very sore. I didn't realize how bad the injuries were until I tried to walk to my car when leaving. OUCH!! This was supposed to be a pleasant experience while my husband took care of our new baby but instead it turned out to be terrible. My only recommendation for this place is that you don't go n risk shredded up feet and risk potential infection! read more

This is the place to go in West Allen. I've been going here for at least 2 years and it's always a great experience. The owner really cares about her customers and takes care of you. In the rare instances that there was a blip with my nexgen or pedicure, she's either offered to fix it right away (even walks around doing her own observations making sure things look good, and will mention it to the nail tech if she thinks anything looks off and not good quality, so they fix right there). Mean and racist. Most of the ladies are only sweet to only to Caucasian people and they give colored people like myself zero customer service. Not even a smile. The lady doing my daughters nail told her in a nasty way to stop moving and to not keep looking at what she's doing. My daughter later told me she was mean and bent her thumb nail really hard that it hurt her. It was her first experience at a nail salon and I feel bad that they had such an unprofessional attitude towards us. The guy with glasses is very nice and friendly however. I was super stoked to try this place because this is my friend's favorite nail salon and we had a coupon for like $5 off gel polish. When we entered the salon looked pretty nice and everyone was super friendly. We were quickly seated and they came to do our nails. The girl who was doing my nails seemed really sweet and I really liked talking to her. Upon removing the dead skin near my nails (at least I think that's what she was doing) she peeled off skin from my thumb and middle finger. Immediately she put alcohol to clean the cut but my fingers would not stop bleeding. Over and over again she kept putting the alcohol and wiping the blood which hurt like heck. Eventually, she just covered both my fingers with cotton and then proceeded to start painting my nails. It took a while for them to finally stop bleeding. I wasn't planning on writing this place a Yelp review but my cuts, 4 days later, are now swollen and still hurt. Now that it is all dried up I can see that the lady peeled a large chunk of the skin off near my two fingers. I would post pictures but they look pretty gross. After all this, I thought it was just an accident that happens like in any nail salon every once in a while. I came on yelp to check the ratings, I saw that several other people had similar painful experiences. I think that's probably not a good sign. I usually like to come to nail salons to relax and enjoy getting my nails done. However, I did not have that experience at all and rather was tense the whole time because it was painful. read more

I came in here while I was visiting my brother from out of town. I had just gotten my nails done and one broke off while trying to get through airport security the night I arrived. They were able to take me in without an appointment, they did offer me something to drink and the place looks clean. That was as good as it got. The customer service was poor because they seemed exasperated to have to pull someone to fix one nail. The tech that worked with me did a horrible job - the nail she fixed looked nothing like the rest of my set - you could tell it was totally different. I needed the problem solved for the weekend so they did that but I went to my regular place as soon as I got back home. read more

The customer service is great here! Jessie at the front goes out of her way to make a great experience. The inside is nice and new. My only complaint is how long my nails last from here. If I am going I get a nice manicure and pay over $30, I want it to last longer than 8 days. My last manicure here, my nail completely peeled off in 8 days and many corners of my nails had chipped. Not sure if they person rushed or if this is an overall problem here. I would only come back if they were offering a special. read more

Luxe used to be good, but no more. The service was halting and the "new owners" DON'T honor Luxe coupons. Luxe used to offer water, sodas, and wine, but have discontinued this amenity. Since they are on a mission to run off long-time customers, I will accommodate them and find a place that wants my business.
