When we checked out, my friend was told she owed the full amount for her massage. I explained that I had purchased the online gift card in October of last year. The front desk immediately asked for the confirmation email. I explained that the purchase had been made months earlier, I no longer had the email readily available, and that when I called before our appointment, I had been told we did not need to bring the confirmation because they would be able to look it up. Instead of trying to help, I was told that wasn't how they handled gift cards and that they had no way to look it up. Rather than feeling supported, the interaction became unnecessarily uncomfortable and felt more like I was being questioned than assisted. The staff came across as rude, disorganized, and unprofessional, showing very little interest in finding a solution. Ironically, after insisting they couldn't look up the gift card, they eventually searched under my name, even though the gift card was for my friend, and found it. Then, after processing everything, they initially told my friend she still owed $100. When I said I would pay it, they responded, "Oh, sorry, correction, you actually have a $100 credit." That level of confusion only reinforced how disorganized the checkout process was. When it came time to pay for my facial, I was then asked, "Would you like to just do the customary 20%?" Rather than presenting tipping options or allowing me to decide for myself, the question felt presumptive and added to the uncomfortable experience. To top it all off, immediately after everything we had just gone through, we were asked if we'd like to rebook another massage. After the experience we had at the front desk, it felt completely tone deaf. There was no genuine apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. The treatments themselves were good, but customer service is an important part of the overall spa experience. Unfortunately, the disorganized, dismissive, and unprofessional interactions at the front desk overshadowed what should have been a relaxing day. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because the quality of customer service did not reflect the quality of the spa treatments.

Booking the appointment was really seamless. The front desk was friendly and helpful in providing information as well as suggesting some massage therapists who could be a good fit. I made a point to fill all my necessary forms ahead of time then ensured I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment (as they instruct) to get situated before my massage. The facilities at Spavia were nice, relaxing, and clean. They even provide neck warmers for you to put on in the waiting room before your treatment which was such a nice touch. The massage itself was amazing. Before my treatment started Muammer went through all of the requests from the intake form to ensure he understood my preferences. Throughout my massage he did check-ins for pressure and gave me a heads of on what he would work on next which made me feel super comfortable. I do a lot of traditional weight training and my muscle really need to be worked on. To say that Muammer kicked my behind in the best possible way is an understatement. His massage technique and pressure was on-point! A bunch of knots that were causing so much tension melted away and I walked out of the appointment with my body feeling rejuvenated! Something that struck me as odd were the number of reviewers complaining about not getting their full treatment time. It had me worried that my services would be cut off early. Rest assured this absolutely DID NOT happen and Muammer gave me the full treatment time as booked. I think that when you actually show up on-time with the necessary grace period before your appointment like you're supposed to, you get serviced appropriately. Coming to Spavia was a real treat and I can't wait to book another appointment in the future!

The front desk staff was very helpful -- walking me through the consent forms, showing me the changing area, and helping me set the password for my locker. After changing, you're given a robe and slippers. The robe is incredibly soft and almost weighted, which added to the comfort. It even has pockets for your jewelry or glasses. Phones are not allowed in the treatment area, and no video/photo is permitted past the changing room, which I appreciated (and respected) for privacy. The facial itself was extremely relaxing. The music was at the perfect volume, and the room lighting was dim without being too dark -- just enough to enhance the experience. The service included a hand and arm massage with hot stones and warm compresses, which was such a nice touch. One minute I was getting a scrub, and the next I was waking up -- it was that relaxing. They also have a retail area at the front where you can purchase the products used during your service. Overall, a wonderful first spa experience. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DIRTY NAIL SALON. Not coming here ever again!!! I brought my sister in law as a treat here based on the yelp reviews, and also cuz when I've passed by it seemed nice decor and pretty clean. Boy was I wrong. First of all let me say I'm a nail tech myself so I know all the standards and protocol of cleanliness and what needs to be used in and thrown away. I thought I'd bring my own foot file cuz my feet are sensitive to rough pumice stones...and FYI ladies pumice stones harbor bacteria and are too coarse to ur feet need something to fine tune ur feet. Flat footfiles that have one side coarse, other side smooth work great and are easy to clean with a little brush and run under pressure water to get all dead skin off!!! But my gossness was that they didn't even use quats to disinfect for 15 mins!!! And thats the law too!!! I thought that they would wait a while after they cleaned the tube after the other girl was sitting there to sit me then, so I told my sister in law I'll run to the bathroom, then I thought that we would wait 5 more mins then get started. I was wrong, cuz after I come back after a min my sister is sitting in that CHAIR!!!! I didn't wanna scare her by saying something, but I told her after to wash her feet when we got home.... The guy that did some other girl her mani had no towel on the mani table!!! I was wondering left and right sooo many corners are cut no wonder the prices are so low. The good part was that my pedi looked cute and the extra massage was good. But as for the cleanliness they better step their game before State board comes and fines them big time for improper sanitation!!!! read more

I recently visited the nail shop on Saturday, and while I ended up with two broken nails within just a couple of days, I was truly impressed by how the team handled it. I called to see if I could come in for a fix, and they were more than happy to accommodate me. As a long-time customer, this experience reaffirmed how much they care about their clients. first time I came I had Nancy. I really love her work. I would keep requesting her and looked forward to having her do my nails, she would even give me classes on how to speak vietnamese :) while she would do my nails. I stopped going there because i feel like the owner pushes the prices to much. he is very nice, but you can tell he is a workaholic and wants to make as much $ as possible. They are very very reasonably priced. The owner is nice and organized and always there. If you make an appointment they take you on time and finish at a relaxed but reasonable pace. Even their least expensive pedicure includes a hot stone massage, it's so relaxing. They take very good care of you and are perfectionists. So, my sister has been telling me for a while now to stop complaining if I'm not going to just follow her advice (which hasn't led me too far astray in the last 35 years... mostly) and go to her shop. The staff at Glory are all sweet and the shop is clean and tidy. I also couldn't help but notice that their prices were better than what I had been paying at my previous (more pricey) place, and I ain't mad at it. I called before, so I can't speak for their walk-in wait times but they weren't too busy for a Saturday afternoon. I got in and out in a reasonable amount of time but still felt like the pedicurist spent a while on my massage and didn't try to rush through and part of the pampering process. Glory be.

Pedicure issue: I asked for a square French tip. I explicitly stated this before my toenails were cut. Despite that, the technician cut my toenails into a shape that made a square tip impossible without acrylic. This was acknowledged as a mistake by the technician herself. I reasonably asked that acrylic be added at no extra charge, since the issue was created by the salon. This turned into unnecessary back-and-forth and delay. Manicure issue: I was then moved to another station for my hands. Again, I showed reference photos multiple times and clearly asked for a medium-length, narrow almond shape (sharper tip, not stiletto, not short). I repeatedly said I did not want short nails. Despite this, my nails were shaped into very short, triangular tips that looked nothing like the reference photos. I stopped the service because it was clearly not going in the right direction. Time & service failure: After nearly 3 hours, I had: * No completed pedicure * No completed manicure This was extremely frustrating, especially given the appointment time and the fact that I was very clear and patient throughout. Pricing concern: I also questioned a $20 upcharge for gold foil on all 10 fingers (a material that costs only a few dollars for a large quantity). The pricing felt excessive and unjustified, especially considering the service issues. Bottom line: This salon was unable to execute very basic requests (square French tip pedicure, almond-shaped manicure) despite clear communication and reference photos. The experience was disorganized, time-consuming, and disappointing. I relied on Google reviews to choose this salon and unfortunately felt misled by them. I would not return, and I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for precise shaping, consistency, or respect for their time.
