i came to the nail shop for the first time last week. the workers were really, really nice people but i am just not satisfied with their paint job. $85 for gel mani + gel pedi (w/out tip) is definitely up there for a manicure that lasted me less than a week when gel should last 2+ weeks, which is the whole reason i pay for gel! it sucks that she also let me leave when my thumb nail was not painted smoothly. i will probably not come back anytime soon. read more

Came here for a pedicure and to remove my current acrylic nails. I had an appointment but i still had to wait about 20 min. The nail tech (ill get her name next time) cleaned up my toes, scrubbed the bottom of my feet and massaged my legs with an orange scrub. I loved this place because they really do spend their time on each client instead of rushing. I gave 4/5 star review because of wait time and because she couldn't get the nail shape I wanted but overall great place!! All employees are wearing their masks and very friendly! I'm not usually one for leaving negative reviews as I strive to uplift and bring attention to businesses that deserve it. But I must make an exception for my ludicrous experience at this place. I'd received a decent enough gel manicure and pedicure from here upon my first visit. It was nothing to write home about - the color was nice, but the gel lineup at the cuticle was kind of off. During my second (and final) visit, I had the most nightmarish nail salon experience of my life. Perhaps my mistake was not getting the owner (or main front desk woman, not sure of her position) to do the job. Anyhow, I needed to get some acrylics removed in preparation for my next nail appointment with my usual manicurist over at Avalon Nails (they're fabulous). This place being close to home, I figured it couldn't hurt to spend 35~ minutes getting just acrylics removed, right? Boy, was I WRONG.... Here is the most concise summary (that I can manage) of what happened: 1. First red flag: the manicurist (who seems to be the back up/less popular choice) started using ONLY her fingernails to PULL and scrape at my acrylics with her HANDS. The only tool she used was the nail scraper that is typically used AFTER nails have been soaked in acetone. Note: she had NO gloves on and I doubt her hands were clean. Really alarming and horrifying in these Covid times. Not to mention she wasn't wearing a mask. 2. It was a PAINFUL process. I kept pulling my hand away and wincing from pain. I kept asking her, "shouldn't you just soak these first? Don't you have a different tool for removal?" but she kept brushing me off, giving me awful excuses like "if I soaked them, we'd be here for two hours" or something else nonsensical. Not wanting to argue, I let her keep at it until she starting RIPPING the acrylic from my nail and caused my nail bed to BLEED. 3. I pulled away and told her I'd had enough, was about to walk out until she FINALLY agreed to soak my nails and started to to use the nail buffer tool to dig away at the acrylic. I would've walked out much sooner, but she'd already had a few fingers done and I was really just trying to get the whole process over with so I wouldn't have to find another salon to finish the job last minute. 4. She gave me NOTHING to treat my bleeding fingernail, all she did was soak it in soap and water. She struck me as unapologetic. She kept lying and saying she "didn't want to hurt me" but clearly didn't give a single shit about very obviously hurting my nails during the entire process. Just a selfish, mean, and lazy attitude. Clearly trying to quickly move on to the next client. 5. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, when the horrible thing was finally over, I was at the counter to pay (when really I had a good enough case to tell them off because of the awful service I received). Vanessa told me how much was due ($15) and asked me how I was doing......I showed her my bleeding nail and told her what happened. Her reaction floored me. She literally gave me the weakest "oh...." AND WALKED AWAY to finish somebody's pedicure while she waited for me to pull my money out! I was absolutely aghast. In short, these people don't care about quality customer service. You can see it in their attitudes and the way they handled my visit. I was as respectful and as nice as I could be the entire time, even though they didn't deserve it. Save your money, go somewhere that's actually clean and worth your time. read more

The service was okay- she went to go order sushi while picked me color. The lady was nice, a bit rough with the nails. The nails - I really dislike. They're all different sizes, all uneven, they're so thick- so they look way bigger than my actual nail. She didn't cut my cuticles, so they already look grown out even though I just got them. My toes are horrible as well, she was painting in different directions for some reason so they all look rough. I paid $60 for the nails and $40 for the toes. Never again! So I decided to try this place out because it was highly recommended. I went in for a Pink and White fill. When I got there I was told they didn't have the white and would I like something else. I was thrown off a bit but thought why not I'll try something else. Lisa did my pedicure and she did such a wonderful job. She is so gentile and my toes look awesome. Went in for a simple blood drip design mani and pedi. She said they couldn't do either design, the blood drip requires airbrush (it really doesn't) and that I need a full set for that. So she convinced me to do a full set and couldn't even do the design. I left with mess up nails, a terrible sloppy job. I wanted square tip and ended up with fan shaped nails. Pedicure was decent, that lady tried and did a lot better. The one that seemed to be in charge was super nosey and insisted they can't do gel on my French tip basic pedicure. Um they did gel on my hands, why not? She kept saying anything I wanted cost money and that they couldn't do it. I didn't have any problem paying extra for the things I wanted but she still wouldn't deliver. I ended up paying 85 for a full set and pasig French tip pedi. I had a couple of neighbors recommend this salon. I'm new to the area, so am looking for my "go to" place. Sorry to say, I was not impressed. The salon interior looks old and dirty, they have limited colors available and my nails were crooked and not filed flat. I did point that out and the attempted to correct them, but clearly the attention to detail was not there. If I have to point out each flaw, they don't care about the results. I asked if they did flowers and the response after a awkward pause was "uh, yeah". She then never offered it when it got to that point. it's pretty hit or miss. sometimes they do a great job, other times they do the bare minimum. i had to get stern with the woman after she burned my nail 4 times with the dremel. all the nails were messed up by the next day, so i had to go back in to get them redone. this is the first time i've had a bad experience though, so hopefully it was a fluke. read more

I live very close by and I'd love for this salon to be my go-to nail place but I've had too many disappointments. The thick accent / language barrier with the techs and owner makes it difficult to feel confident about booked appointments or walkins. It's one of those places where they ask when you want to come in and then they squeeze you in, rather than you asking what times they have open (seems common for Asian-owned businesses). I've called ahead to ask about a gel manicure and the owner said come right in. She already had a client when I got there a few minutes later so I got her older coworker instead. When I said I wanted a gel manicure, the older lady said "you wahn chell, you shoo have call" in a scoldy voice. It's not even worth arguing about to her that I did call, the language barrier was so thick. So, I got a traditional manicure that chipped in 2 days. Other times I've tried to schedule appointments or come in for walkins but received strangely noncommittal answers. I just don't trust this salon to be prompt or accurate. I wish it wasn't so hard to communicate with the techs at this salon. You many never feel sure you're going to get the time and service you want. read more

Best French white tips mani pedi I've had. I got gel pedi and regular mani. Both came out great and I'm very picky. Vanessa did my mani. She cut my cuticles, I mean she really got in there and removed every shred of dry skin (I used to have to do this myself bc all other places left most of it on, so it'd cut my cuticles at home and then went and got the rest done). The girl who manages/owns the place is really sweet. There is usually a few people in there and the place is clean and very minimal on the decor. New pedi massage chairs. For those of you clean freaks this place does clean their pedi chairs after each use. Service: The first time I went was during my lunch hour. I asked for a mani and pedi. I was first sat down to do a pedi, the weird thing was that they finished that completely and then they moved me to the mani station and did my mani there. The good news was the whole thing only took an hour and 15 minutes and the lady was really nice and she talked just enough to make me feel comfortable. I used Olivera Nail Spa up until I got married and moved out of the area. I personally love the services. Diane the manager is the one who did my nails. They would always fit me in when I needed a fill etc. The shopping center where they are located was close to home so it was very convinient. It's clean and up to date. Very friendly, a bit pricey though . I did go back to them recently and due to the economy downfall I have noticed that prices did come down a little bit. I do highly recomend them read more

I have been going here for years and know all the ladies that work here. They are so friendly and never forget who I am. I come and go as life has taken far to live at times and Dianne will never forget, she asks me about my life every time. I have only received compliments about my eyebrows and she has never burned me or caused me pain. As many of you know, this can happen way too frequently as some places. This is the only place that I do not care which of the ladies take care of my pedicure and manicure since they all do it well. Each one has a little of their own method, but they are all great. I always feel pampered. The only issue is that over the years, the chairs need some attention. I am not there for the chair so it does not bother me. They also do great art and gel polish. I love this place! Not only due to the great care they give me, but the personal attention they provide. They just remodeled and I love love love this place!! I always come in for all my beauty needs. From waxing to pedis. Being a full time student it's nice to get pampered for an affordable price. I usually get my acrylic or gel nail manicures from Diane. And it always turns out wonderful. I like trying out different shapes and she's always open to my ideas. For pedicures its always someone different but I love it every time especially with a cute design. They are super accommodating and I always leave feeling refreshed and beautiful. :-) read more
