She was very thorough and when she found the knotted up muscles and tension areas she expertly worked them loose with a minimum amount of pain. At the end of my second massage with Lulu, I felt like my muscles had all melted into the table I was so completely relaxed. I didn't want to move and disturb all of my soothed muscles. It is evident that she has knowledge of the anatomy and muscle structure of the body, and she has a very intuitive touch. For example, when I tell her that I have pain "around my shoulder blade," she is able to focus on the spot that is troubling me without any further input from me. I've been to numerous places in the bay area and thus far this is one of my favorites overall. If I were to be super critical these are my only comments (though this isn't enough for me to drop it down less than 5 stars): - The rooms aren't soundproof, so sometimes if other customers are coming in you'll hear them and it can take you out of the moment. - Tips are asked based on experience quality (I'd prefer to pay a flat rate rather than judge an employee's work to their face) - The staff are either shy or very softspoken to sometimes I miss what they ask during my massage.

I went for microblading which took her forever to do, she hasnt been doing it very long which is very evident. I really tried to like my eyebrows, within 2 months of having them done by her, my microblading faded and became non existent. A refund would be great, but regardless of her work, i paid for her time. 6 months after my session with her, i went else where, paid almost triple the amount and its now been a year (of having them redone by someone else) and my eyebrows still look AMAZING, no fading, color is vibrant, shaping, shading - it all looks amazing! Again, angie is a heart of gold and is amazing at all her other services, she just needs better schooling, practice and time in learning proper microblading.

MICROBLADING I have hypothyroidism and I have been slowly…read morelosing the ends of my eyebrows as a result. They are about 1/3 smaller then they were which is a significant loss. It was a good time to look into microblading. My brows are particularly challenging since they are quite unsymmetrical: one is a good bit higher than the other and a good bit thinner (more spartan in areas) than the other. I met with Angie for the initial appointment to discuss concerns and the procedure. She also gave me information on how to prep for the procedure: dos and don'ts. No issues and I was ready to proceed to the next step, setting up the appointment. Day of the appointment, Angie was painstakingly detail oriented when it came to "drawing" and outlining my brows. It took multiple iterations to get them right: lower this one raise the other one, set the frame so it best captures the whole eye, erasing and starting over if they shape makes the eye looks sad or surprised. So much more to this than you think. The shape is everything and really changes how you look. I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with the outcome. I had tattooing done years ago and I found the microblading session with Angie much more effective and the shape she designed was AMAZING. I couldn't be happier with the results!! About 6 weeks later we had the follow up session. This session was to fill in the base shading and redo any lines that may need to be sharpened. FACIAL I have had one facial with Angie. It was customized to my skin type. I'm impressed how many different techniques she has at her disposal. My face looked very clean and clear the following day and I plan to book facials with her on a regular basis. I will update the posting as I have more sessions. MASSAGE This is how I know Angie in the first place. I booked her for a massage about a year and a half ago and LOVED her bodywork !! I have seen her monthly ever since. Her style is extremely relaxing but she is also able to apply a great deal of pressure into my right shoulder (my perpetual issue). I'm right handed and I'm very rough on that shoulder. I also love her cranial sacral training that she adds into the session if I ask and I really love the myofacial work. Before each session she always asks where I would love my focus, even after all this time. Often times it's right shoulder focus, but it has also been hips, arms or pecs as well. I always feel a million times better after the session and it's my favorite thing. I look forward to it every month. It's my treat to myself and a partial contribution to my self- care. Angie is a lovely person and a jack of all trades. Highly recommend her skills for massage, facials and microblading.
