I was promptly greeted when I came in and was offered some coffee or water. I had to pass as it was a quick stop but I really liked the vide here. The shop had a bit of everything including clothing, candles, jewelry, and all sorts of gifts including some gorgeous drinking glasses. Definitely worth browsing just to check it all out. Overall, it looked like the general price point is on the higher end but nothing too outrageous for a boutique shop. I did find the ornament I saw in the picture but I know my mom already has the same one, or one that could pass off as its twin anyway. So many cute gifts and would totally visit again even though I didn't find something this trip. I've seen a couple complaints I want to address because they annoy me: - small parking lot: that's not true. There's a giant parking lot, it's literally next to a McDonald's - not being able to request specific people: just make an appointment. You can ask on the phone when the person you want to do your services works and request them - being pressured into other services: I hate to say it but that's business. They're gonna ask if you want other services. It's as simple as learning to say "no, thank you". Then, the color they recommended, which was more of an ivory, looks terrible next to my white cabinets in my kitchen. I had asked the designer to recommend the best blind color seeing my decor, and she assured me the cream would look really great and soften the look. Well, she was wrong in that a blind with whiter undertones was absolutely what should have been ordred, not ivory since my cabinets were WHITE. When I called to tell them they don't look good next to my cabinets and that I took their recommendation, they said it was my mistake, I shouldn't have ordered them. When I said I took Katie, the designer's recommendation, they said it didn't matter, it was my decision and they would not exchange them. When I asked if they would consider a break on two cornices to cover the cream strip near the white cabinets above the blinds, they said NO. This was your fault and we will not give you any concessions. HRMPHHH. Go to Lowes or somewhere else to avoid this company. For the limited number of items I order for $3000, I could have bought from a much better company that actually knew what to design, and treats their customers with respect and understanding.

For them it was enough, they found themselves in a big serious problem. After we worked 3 months overtime the boss took a vacation for about a week and after she came back on April 1st 2019. she talked to my supervisor and everyone and made a plan to fire me without no reason. She turned the lights off (they didn't want me to catch them doing the dirty works). and she called me in the office. Saying " I have to let you go, because you sowed four draperies together before six months ago and you hurt Linda and Cathy". Which that wasn't the truth in the first place!
