"Sign today to get an additional x% discount" "My boss won't like this but...." "Oh oops I forgot to add this one $10,000 piece to your invoice, the price we've been discussing for 1/2 hour is now 50% higher" "Well I guess I could give you the friends and family discount..." etc etc Every time I said no to their "absolute lowest price they can do," they came back with another "lowest price" with some kind of discount or deal that they "shouldn't do, but can make an exception for..." I've read online that they do excellent work, but all they wanted to talk about was their competitors. If I had a nickel for every time I heard about "the other guys," I could possibly afford their newest "absolute best price we can do." Not a fan. Just tell me the price, tell me what you do, and cut the gimmicks.

They didn't pull permits, no inspections were done, we had two stop work…read moreorders placed and the work he was paid for failed inspections and needs to be redone and he's not stepping up to cover it, in fact, he's refusing to sign off on our remaining escrow so we can use that to fix his terrible structural repairs. We filed a board complaint in April 2026 and I can only hope they can stop him from leaving anyone else in the same situation he's left us in. He didn't meet any deadlines, was in breach of both mine and the banks contract. He was fired. A structural repair company that flat out says "you paid for repairs, you don't pay for the work to be up to code" says a lot.

We went over everything that was to be done and verified all the locations around the house. Edwin and Taylor the other team members got to work right away. Jonathan took beginning, unprocessed and completed photos and videos. The team cleaned up the worksite beautifully. While Taylor and Edwin finished loading the truck I went over the job and viewed the photos and videos Jonathan had taken. Great Company! I really liked how they did a comprehensive overview of the house. I have little…read moreto no tolerance for water issues (water damage expense as well as mold issues). Based on my experience, any proactive issues you can take to avoid any water issues is money well spent. I love how they work with you to stay in your budget but help you to track issues you may see in the future. In our situation, we have a gutter issue that showed up when we had the recent monsoon rain. We're going to fix our gutters (clean them out) but will track a second issue (we also have an issue with the volume of our 2nd floor gutter pours onto our garage roof as the 2nd floor and the garage roof gutter handle the same volume of water which means that if we max out the 2nd floor gutter, the garage roof gutter will be overflowing). They also pointed out that they can fix issues with our porch setting (a common issue given that NC builder often throw all their trash under the porch then bury the trash when they finish their construction). There is an easy fix for that issue. Also, they can fix an issue with our cement driveway slab tilting though it is more expensive given the size of the slab. We'll address this later.

I hope I won't need any more foundation repairs, but if I do, I'd rehire them in a heartbeat!
