Just your typical scam of trying to sell junk to people and make $2,000 off you. And if you have the audacity to ask for any details about the vehicle he is extremely rude. Do not do business with this guy. He is a liar. I asked if there was much rust, and he said "It was not a rust bucket" and there was little superficial rust. But underneath there was major damage: Rusted shock mounts, tie rods, torsion bars, cab mounts and most importantly a rusted and cracked frame. I purchased a boat and trailer of this person. The wheel on the trailer fell off 2 minutes from his home. Stranded me during a tropical storm. I had to repair after he stated bearings had just been packed. When I got the boat home, took to mechanic because I was stranded on the water. Laundry list of repairs. He stated engine had 500 hours. I have had a few car inspected here and none have ever failed. Had brake jobs done on two of my cars, best price I could find and they did the job well. I let one car sit outside for a couple of months and the pads and rotors rusted up bad. My fault yet they replaced them labor free just charging me their cost for the parts. Had a car in there recently for an electrical problem and asked them to check the brakes. They said they are only half worn, no need to replace now. Charged me $30 for fixing my lights and all I had was two twenties. They had no change so they said $20 is good. That doesn't sound like a dishonest mechanic looking to drum up work. read more

I took my Ford to this shop for an inspection and they failed it. Two weeks before, I had it at a Ford dealer for a free oil change. The Ford dealer said it would need nothing for inspection. After Nextgen failed it I went back to Ford and they re-inspected it (it passed). Next I went back to Nextgen with the Specs from Ford, the NH RSA that states inspections of steering components will be made according to manufacturer specs, and a request for my inspection sticker I had already paid them for. The owner told me the Ford specs didn't mean anything to him. I wound up having to go back to Ford and pay a second time to get my inspection sticker. Don't go to Nextgen! The owner is stubborn, arrogant, and unwilling to do what's right for the customer. read more

Inexpensive rates for NH state vehicle inspection give people the false impression that they'll get a good deal. I can almost guarantee 100% that they will find "something" wrong! Most of the time it's piddley issues that reputable shops would let go. But the owner is a master at scare tactics and pressuring. For major repairs, chances are you'll have a pretty young, low paid kid with minimal experience in auto repair working on your car. Yet their rates are equal to better repair shops. Brought our car in for a $400 coolant line and timing repair, got it back and iit ended up being $2000 in repairs and it was now stalling. Brought it back and they wanted $200 more just to recheck thier own work! Went to get the car and it was out og gas and wouldnt start. 3 kids with us, wife crying and the owner slams the garage door down so he didnt have to see us. Luckily one of his employees came out and jumped the car so we could leave. $1000 later at a good shop found they killed the turbo and put the timing belt on. With proof pf the poor work I got $1000 back from my credit card company. Stay away! read more

Has a car (2002 S500 ) for sale for $4,000 I told him I would give him $3600 (fair condition kbb value) due to it having a crack in the front bumper, bubbling rust spots on the trunk lid, and missing bumper parking sensor etc.. If I could upload a picture if the messages he sent me I would, I have them saved. Here is what the conversation looked like word for word I will sensor the perfanity......[me]: I'd would pay 3600......[Brandon Brooks]: You Fu*k face its not in fair shape. Seemed suspicious that all 3 family vehicles needed wiper blades at state inspection, especially when the following year a car that had been parked ALL year needed them again. Finally, I was told that a 3-year-old Camry needed its serpentine belt replaced in order to pass inspection. I said that I didn't know that belt was part of a state inspection and I was told that "it is here". When the belt was replaced and I got the bill they said the pully was bad and the whole bill was around $350. People, NOTHING goes bad in a Camry within 3 years!!! I asked to see the pully and was told that it was already thrown away. I filed a complaint with the State of NH. read more

I can't understand these two negative reviews (from people in ME and CT?). I've been doing business with these guys for 6 years (300,000 miles between my 3 vehicles) Next Gen was recommended to me by the previous owner of my house after he had used them at least two years before me, and I recommend them. WRT inspections, Repair Shops are always worried about losing their licenses with the state, so they can't give you a free pass, especially if the emissions aren't up to snuff - the state reads your emission reports. Car repair, especially emission control, is getting more complicated all the time. Impatient, suspicious people can easily be turned off over trifles or lack of understanding. read more
