Little did I know I would be finding the only hair stylist to ever get my hair exactly how I wanted---honestly even better than I imagined it! Even when I showed prior stylists numerous pictures of what I had in mind (and even once drew out what I was trying to emphasize what I wanted, which was a layered style that tapered to a V shape at the bottom) it always ended up looking very rounded and horizontal regardless. When I told Ashley my usual request she didn't ask too many questions about it so I thought "well, here we go again". Turns out she didn't need any more info because she knew exactly what I was going for and did it flawlessly! The next day when I was walking through a parking lot some random woman scared the bejeesus out of me when she shouted "NICE LAYERS!" Today I went back for my second haircut with Ashley and was curious to see if maybe the first perfect cut was just luck, but once again she nailed it effortlessly. I now live in fear of the day she ever moves away or retires.

I clearly asked for just a small trim, but Ricky cut about 8 inches off my hair without checking. The haircut was extremely uneven with long strands sticking out everywhere. It looked rushed, sloppy, and completely unprofessional. I went back within 30 minutes because it was so obviously messed up and asked them to fix it. Instead of correcting the uneven cut, they chopped off another 2.5 inches. Now my hair is far shorter than I ever wanted and still uneven. It will take months, if not years, for my hair to grow back to the length it was. To make matters worse, the staff were rude and dismissive when I tried to explain the problem. There was no accountability and no real effort to make the situation right. This was one of the most upsetting salon experiences I have ever had. If you value your hair at all, I strongly recommend staying away from this place.

Clean & professional environment within the barbershop, but daaaaaaaaang! $28 for a haircut before tip? I don't recall paying that much to Moe, but geeeeeeez. Those are salon prices. I understand the convenience of being super close to Seatac International Airport, yet there are other things that you have to be wary of. First, parking here is almost non-existent. The barbershop is in a shared space with a cell phone business, and that owner gets a bit snippy of you park in his parking area. Where else do you park? I usually park across the street, and walk. The area close to Seatac (Tukwila) has very interesting clientele, so don't be alarmed. They are harmless. However, be mindful of your surroundings if you arrive during the dusk hours. The shop has an ATM, yet accepts plastic. Unfortunately, they charge a 5% fee to use their ccard machine. I forgot how much the ATM fees are- more than likely $2.50 or $3.00 per transaction. The barbers here are great conversation, yet expensive. Otherwise, a pretty decent stop if you want a quality cut at premium pricing.
