We tried an Ombré on my first visit with her after years of only getting partial foils. I had purchased a Living Social for a partial foil. But for only a couple dollars more we tried her suggestion. Exciting, right?! My hair turned out absolutely stunning. I will definitely be going to her again for the same thing. I even booked my next appointment. (I never do that!) Also, she said this style would allow me to go longer in between touch up appointments and my hair will not look obviously grown out like it did when I came in. She made me feel at easy in the chair and never pressured me to buy anything extra. I even left with samples! Who doesn't love those? Even though I was a first-time client and not a local she made outstanding recommendations. I showed him a couple examples and asked for his professional input based on how I style and my daily routine. I went back to Kee for a partial balayage after we had talked about it real briefly during my first appointment. We had a good consultation beforehand, and he took the time to understand exactly the look I wanted, explain the process, and set realistic expectations. Thinking she was going to get it on her way in to make up for being over a half hour late I said yes. That was the wrong choice. The stylist ordered it but asked me to go pick it up across the street. First of all I had never met this woman before in my life. It just felt oddly unprofessional. When she came in she was clearly running late because of a late night and hungover as she discussed her night with her coworkers. It's an open salon, everybody can hear your conversations. The second time, I gave another try because my hair did look good & perhaps it was an off day that first time. This time though, I noticed my hair didn't look as great as the first time and it felt rushed. Tried a new stylist for the third time and she got bleach on the back of my shirt but didn't tell me, found out when I got home. I wish she just mentioned it at least.
