Loan does an amazing job with my lashes! I'll come in for my fills with nearly 10 lashes barely hanging on, but Loan has the magic touch to make them look beautiful again! I have only been going here for few weeks, but the staff her is above and beyond any expectation I previously regarding beauty salons. When you first walk in, the lady at the front desk (I think she is the owner?) greets you with a warm smile. Before she even says hello, there is the most adorable little puppy who just walks up and links your toes. He is so cute and nice. He doesn't bark, and the owner has a spot to put him in the back if dogs aren't your cup of tea. I would highly recommend an appointment with Ali. She is the sweetest woman and so understanding! She is all for experimenting and having fun when you want to try something new with your hair, but is also willing to work within certain guidelines for work dress codes. She is gentle when working with sensitive heads and patient while working with you to try and figure what it is you're looking for exactly. I have not worked with anyone else here, but they do have great offers for weddings, makeup, and all kinds of run things to try with your hair. I highly recommend L Beauty Bar and Ali. read more

My hair stylist, Jane, moved here from Brag. What a great change! Don't have to worry about parking or a ticket. Ample parking -- yay! Jane and I got to talking about lash extensions and said that she gets them done here...after a few months of wondering if I should, I finally bit the bullet and said, "Let's do this!!" So glad I did. Loan did a smashing job and I'm completely satisfied. She was gentle and I didn't freak out over anything so close to my eyes. Chatting with her was great and before I knew it the 2 hours flew by. For some reason, it was totally relaxing and I was so tempted to take a nap. Haha. Holy cow! I love my eyelash extensions! I did a last minute booking for an extension through their online booking. Easy to navigate & it's efficient. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly & welcoming. The space is really cute & clean. It was my first time at L Beauty Bar but my third eyelash extension. Loved my stylist and loved my hair. I used a Living Social deal to get a blow out service at L Beauty Bar. I was incredibly pleased with the results! My fiance and I were attending a wedding that evening and I have very fine, stick straight hair that is nearly impossible for me to curl myself. If I want it to look good for more than 20 minutes I need a professional to do it. It just doesn't stay curled! The interior is gorgeous. The decor, ambiance and products are top notch :) I just love that the salon is well decorated and gives off a fun vibe without being too "busy" and over the top! They have an awesome comfy waiting area too. Their blow out skills are definitely 5 stars! My stylist understood my time crunch, but paid close attention to how I described my hair and hair woes, and what I wanted out of the blow out. (Curls that looked soft and natural..but would last!) My stylist made a point to go above and beyond for me so that my curls would last all night! And they don't charge extra for work with hot tools either! AWESOME! Some blow out places will do that and I hate that. This is a great salon for blow outs, reasonably priced, and I will definitely return. read more

I've been seeing Loan to get my lashes done and I couldn't be happier! Loan and her whole staff are friendly and professional. The salon has such a cute vibe, clean, and conveniently located next to everything. Her prices are very reasonable if not better. The lashes don't burn, nicely placed, lasts a WHOLE LOT longer than other places, and without all the excess glue. The chairs are comfy to sit in, and she even puts a napkin on your head. Came in for a wash/blowout after work yesterday and was pleased with my results. My stylist was friendly and very gentle. She did exactly what I asked and did not try to talk me into other services, like most salons do. It's rather difficult to find a place that does good blowouts in the area, but I think I have found my go-to. I would definitely recommend scheduling your appointments further in advance though, since there is only one hair technician and one lash technician. The decor of the salon was very cute and modern. Half of the salon has little separate rooms for eyelash services and the other half is for hair. read more

Booked online. Then they called 3 days later to cancel my appointment because they think I'll need more time for my lashes because I haven't been there in a while blah blah. If they have these guidelines they should have been stated when I booked the appt. something like if you haven't had your lashes done here in a while you will need to book an hour appt. Or light feel are only available if your previous full set for fill has been done here within the last few weeks. Or maybe just don't have online booking!!! Now I have no time to get in anywhere else while my Lash lady is on vacation because they decided to wait days to tell me they are canceling my appt. The nice and business like thing to do would have been to say we will do it this time, since we didn't state the issues ahead but in the future we won't be able to accommodate you. Nicole saved my hair! I tried to dye my hair red after bleaching it and it turned out pink! Not a pretty pink either! It was an uneven and horrible shade of raspberry. Nicole answered the phone when I called and got me in the same day! She worked over three hours on my hair. She listened to me and consulted with me the whole time. Booked a hair cut with Lisa a few days ago. Lisa is AWESOME! Now I have a sassy and rocker style so if you don't like my cut please don't take that as anything bad to Lisa's styles. MOST IMPORTANT Lisa listened to what I wanted! She looked at the examples of the style and cut and wanted and talked to me about it EVERY STEP OF THE WAY , I was a newbie in her chair (new to area and never had her cut my hair before) and she was just awesome in every way. What you need to know abut Lisa is she gave me an awesome cut. And I asked for a cut that isn't the easiest. Lisa totally listened to me, looked at the photos I had to explain what cut I wanted. EVERY step of the way she talked with me. She had the BEST communication. She didn't take any major steps without talking and walking me through what she was doing and why. The inside was so quiet and peaceful and beautifully decorated. The lady who cut my hair was so sweet- I'm sorry I can't remember her name - maybe Nicole? She did a great job and I love my hair cut.
