B.Hernandez Landscape delivered a spectacular, well‑managed solution. David coordinated everything with excellent communication especially with additional requests; Benito and the rest of the crew were punctual, respectful, and clearly skilled. They removed excessive tree roots, trenched and built a sturdy retaining wall to protect the tree, regraded the yard to ensure proper slope for water runoff, and created two attractive flower beds with enriched soil and black mulch. They laid sod across multiple curb strips and the front of the house, carefully blending seams and finishing edges. Their quote was by far the fairest among five contractors we interviewed, and the workmanship shows it. With extra sod available they even took additional time to install over a curb strip for me. They cleaned up meticulously and even power washed the sidewalks. This team went above and beyond to support my request. I had multiple estimates for a pressure treated retaining wall, three drain pipes, a low level deck tear down, river rock/flagstone and artificial grass install. From day one, I knew he was going to be the company I went with. He was super professional, came in at a fair price, completed the project quickly with a very professional/knowledgeable staff and has been amazing to work with on the back end. He was so good, I recommended him to my parents for a massive hardscape project and to my homeowners association for some tree work our community needs completed. We had no issues with Jeremy / SSS at all. A lot of companies don't really care about you once the check is cashed and the project is completed, but not Jeremy. Throughout working with Jeremy on my home project, he had found out that my grandfather was very ill (eventually passed away). Approximately two weeks after the project was completed and paid for, Jeremy gave me a ring and left me a voicemail checking in on my family and I to see how we were holding up. My brother (who has a dislocated shoulder) then proceeded to call him to request he come back to remove the snow he placed there and he said he "couldn't help him." My mom then came home, having to park in our neighbor's spot, called him to make the same request, and he then hung up on her. This man is VERY unprofessional and disrespectful. There was no reason for him to handle the situation this way, especially when it could've been rectified when he was first told to not leave the snow there by our neighbors. This interaction will be reported to our HOA, the Town of Dumfries, and the BBB.
