Pool service was average on the best days but usually not acceptable. They rarely brush the pool. They always try to sell you extra services like filter cleaning and shock service for $150. Let me start off by saying. We are new pool owners. We have owned our pool for over a year now. After our pool was built we immediately went w Next Level to get our pool serviced. They came out the same day I called to get a quote. The quick response and first impression was great. If I can leave this company ZERO STARS, I would. We had our pool serviced weekly. Everytime they come service our pool it's about LESS THEN 10/15 MAX! This is not an exaggeration. Our pool is 30x15, I honestly felt like the time they spent was not enough time at all. Cleaning, skimming, brushing, nothing. From the very beginning we couldn't get our pool levels/chlorine to be where it needs to be. It wasn't retaining the Chlorine. It was never clear. Almost cloudy most of the time. And very much had algae build up. Next level kept telling us it's the tree and the leaves falling in and sucking up our chlorine. and recommended for us to remove the tree above that was outside of our fencing. Or draining the pool! Bizarre!!! Our pool was about a month old. We ended up trimming the tree that hung over our fencing. we also cleaned our landscape so it would be clean and less debris blowing in. I mean we did almost everything we could possibly do: we would clean the pool every morning. Taking the leaves out. but they kept saying we needed to drain the pool, and or cut the tree completely. Mind you this tree is massive. This went on for a while. They charged us everytime for extra chemicals/chlorine (it adds up every week) and "filter cleaning" every 6 months, that pretty much in my knowledge never happened. We've been extremely unhappy and the solution was either cut the tree or drain the pool. After building our pool, cutting the tree and draining it wasn't ideal. Especially because our pool was so new still! Finally a year later we decided to switch to another company. Adolfo & Manny pool service, it's been since June. I waited to leave a review for obvious reason! I need to make sure my reasoning for this review is Valid. Since we have switched, our pool is Clean/Clear, EVERY DAY! No issues. I'm aware every pool is built different and not all pool are the same! I can promise u this pool company isn't there for 10 min. Tree is still up, pool didn't need to be drained. Yes our pool needs a lot of chlorine especially in the summer. Our chemicals do change. This pool company does everything ONE FLAT RATE! No hidden fees. Everyone that came out previously poured shock in by the gallons and loaded the floater with chlorine tabs. This not only did not help, but ruined my pool water to the point I had to drain the pool and scrub it from top to bottom. Worst company I've ever worked with. If you want your pool to become a dirty disaster hire them. I warn against it. Although their invoices say they scrub the tile etc. they don't and in over a year never did no matter how many times I asked. They threw in some type of white crystals that sat at the bottom of my pool and spa and never dissolved. I asked them to remove the crystals but they never did. It also corroded my tubing and left crusty yellow buildup in my leaf cannister which I had to throw out. I had 6 different techs in one year because they either quit or were fired. One tech used my hose to clean a filter and left it in a tangled mess with kinks not as he found it. The last tech not realizing I was home did not test the water or add chlorine. They send a report after each visit which says the balance of chemicals and chlorine that was added, those number were fake. I have a water feature that worked when I moved in and then stopped working. When I asked why Aaron who owns the route said he didn't know. They also billed me for an algae remover that didn't work. They tried other products and they didn't work. They are inept at communicating or responding to emails. I was on automatic billing and I asked them to cancel it. Aaron said I wasn't on automatic billing so to prove it I sent him back his receipt that says automatic payment. I'm waiting to see if they actually cancel it. On top of all of that they raised their prices due to fuel costs etc. My new service provider charges less and is incredibly skilled at fixing equipment going above and beyond to ensure everything is working properly. Based on my experience the reviews are FAKE!! You don't receive the service I did and think they're great. It is not possible. I wouldn't hire them if they were the only pool cleaners on the planet. That's how bad they are. I fired them and hired a new cleaning service and the algae is gone, the water is crystal clear and the water feature works. They had shut off the valve. Incompetence is the only word I can use to describe their service. I've never written a bad review but I was compelled to warn anybody who maybe thinking of hiring this company not to. You may think after reading my review I'm just moaning but I'm not. I have no hesitation when paying for services provided as specified in a professional manner. I do not pay for lousy if not non-existing services promised. I have no outstanding balance with this company. I even requested they not come to clean the pool the last scheduled date. Amazing professional replacement of my Hayward pool heater. My old heater finally quit after many years of flawless service, so I wanted to stay with Hayward. Comments on the internet indicated that a factory authorized dealer could yield a longer warranty, so I did a search for dealers near me. I read the great reviews about Next Level and contacted them. Barry came across as very knowledgeable over the phone, and In very short order I had a written quote for the job that beat two others, plus I had the job scheduled for much sooner than I'd imagined was possible. Barry and his brother Bobby were on time and had my old heater out in a flash. I took advantage of their presence at my home and asked them a variety of questions about proper pool care and was pleased to get a lot of good information. They knew electrical, plumbing, propane and pool chemistry subjects in great detail. The new heater went in with a little PVC pipe rerouting, and they were done two hours after arriving.
