Jordan patiently explained all that had to be done, and gave us a few different scenarios and pricing of depending on what he found as he dismantled and tried to fix the spa. Access to the repair area was extremely tight and difficult which made his job even harder. Of course, it turned out to be the worst case scenario; despite the price we decided to fix it. (the alternative would have been a new spa) Due to the fact that we were in no huge rush to fix it, Jordan patiently worked on it after a full day of work for over a week. He was patient, respectful and professional. After a week of work, her finally got her up and running. I'm sure this job ended up being much more difficult than he had anticipated....but he did a great job fixing it. I would highly recommend Jordan to anyone requiring repair of their inground or aboveground spa's.

Some were large corporations and some smaller operations. Most estimates came in very close in price. To me price was not the number one factor, after reading reviews and talking to people in the industry, we chose to go with So Cal Custom Pools. I was very impressed with Jimi and how everything from start to finish was handled. Little things to me are important, like show up when you say you will, complete a job to the best of your ability. Jimi showed up every time when he said he would, the pool was completed on time and looks amazing. I would always know when someone was coming to the house, I received either a call of text prior to someone showing up. We started with demo, the demo crew removed all the old plaster, tile and cooping, when the crew was completed the yard was swept and cleaned after. Everything looked clean and the crew took pride in the work. Next we had the tile and coping installed. I did have 2 small change orders. I changed the water feature and had the tile guys do a little more work than was originally expected. This was the only increase to the pricing and everything else came out exactly as expected. Once the tile and coping were installed the pebble was installed. The crew showed up and completed this in the morning. As soon as the plaster was completed we started to fill the pool immediately. The pool looks great and I was very impressed with So Cal Custom Pools from start to finish. I would use them in the future. Thanks Jimi, the pool looks great.

The final straw was the excessive credit card fees they charge acknowledging it's the "cost of doing business". But they inflate the charges they are actually paying. Do not recommend. Also while the pool service person is fine he definitely doesn't spend enough time on the pool. Happy to be moving on to another company.

I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

His office responded very quickly and said he was still waiting from quotes to come back from suppliers but I should be hearing from him within the next week. Well I finally did hear back but it was 12 days later and I was told they decided not to even bid the project. Their reason being that in the past they tried to bid jobs like mine and had experienced added cost and major issues and they were not equipped to handle a project like mine. 3 weeks was wasted waiting for a bid on a project they were not equipped to handle when I could have been told the day they came to my house the project was not one they felt they could handle. Stringing a potential customer along for 3 weeks is not my idea of good business management.

I can't begin to describe how happy my husband and I have been with the service that Dwayne has provided for our pool in the past two years. Before hiring Dwayne, my pool was a constant battle with algae and hard water. The filter was insufficient, and the water was completely out of balance. After hiring Dwayne, (it's been around a year now), the pool has remained crystal clear, without excessive chemical. The water looks as good as any resort pool.
