The thing that really stood out though was that Jay was straightforward and honest in his assessment. I work on a lot of houses, so all the figures he gave for estimates were pretty much in line with what I would expect. Not too high, like he was selling me on a repair I didn't need. But also not underselling the cost of what needed to get done. To me, there's nothing more valuable then getting accurate information. Don't try and overinflate or udnerflate what costs will be. Just say it like it is and let me decide how to proceed. I will absolutely be using 4 Seasons for future Home Inspection work and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a home assessed.

Very easy manner that put us at ease. It was almost like we enjoyed chatting with him (while he answered our questions) so much it was almost a case of "Oh yeah, you need to look at the roof." Wes not only went up onto the roof, he took photos of everything and gave us an honest appraisal of the work done by the previous roofing company. giving suggestions on how to improve that job along with the new repairs he would do. On the scheduled day of the repair, Wes showed up with two trucks and entire crew. The work was done within a couple of hours and once again, Wes had photos of what he'd done. The proof of the quality of his company's work is that we didn't get a single roof leak during all the heavy rains from the atmospheric rivers that have been flowing over our heads. Not to worry: he guarantees the work over a specified time period. In addition to the roof repair, his guys cleaned the moss off the shingles, cleaned out the rain gutters AND picked up all the roofing nails off the ground. With the previous company, we were finding nails in the front and back yards for months. So yeah, we found our honest, extremely thorough roofing company. The good news for us is that we'll be scheduling another appointment. Our detached garage has moss all over the roof and we're sure the gutters and drains need clearing out too. Which is another cool thing about Wes's company: some roofers will only come out to put on a new roof and nothing else. Wes will gladly come out even when the job's maintenance only like getting rid of the moss or cleaning out rain gutters and drainpipes. Every homeowner needs to find a good roofer. We found ours.

What we really appreciate about Armor Roofing is their rapid response and their constant communication, keeping us updated on the two month process of taking measurements, drawing up plans, providing a multi-page proposal with detailed costs, with updates on delivery of new synthetic tiles, skylights and a planned start date. I am writing to express our disappointment with how our property was treated during the recent…read moreroofing project Cloise and Mike Construction, Inc. provided. While the roof itself appears to be well done, the condition in which our property was treated and left is unacceptable. During the course of the work, your crew drove over shrubbery in our backyard in order to fit vehicles, smashing them flat and causing damage to the established landscaping. They also cut limbs from a tree we planted years ago as a memorial, leaving it disfigured. At no point were we asked for permission to cut any limbs or shrubs, nor were we informed that this had been done--we discovered the damage on our own afterward. The limbs were not properly removed but instead discarded onto other vegetation, leaving us to clean up the debris. Additionally, plants were cut back to accommodate vehicles in the rear driveway, and several bushes were run over and flattened. Old plywood removed from the roof was thrown onto our deck, landing on outdoor furniture. Crew members also walked through and stood in garden areas, trampling new spring bulbs. We were particularly surprised to find that a log had been dragged out of the forest and onto our lawn for use as a seat during break time, and then left there for us to remove. We understand that roofing can be a messy job with missed nails on the ground or some debris that had blown into bushes etc., but we chose to work with a small, local business in hopes of receiving more care and respect for our home and property. Unfortunately, this experience has not reflected that expectation.
