M&M came out with a new purple woman character in February. That is the month that we lost Miryanda. And purple is her favorite color. I came up with an idea to get her . . The purple M&M tattooed on me . For her and her kids.. I walked into Next Level Tattoo.. had the pleasure of talking with Angel. Once he had told me his name I thought for sure that this was a godsent that he was the one going to do my tattoo. But he nicely referred me to Manuel the owner just because he is great with detail, and the tattoo is very meaningful.. he had told me to text Manuel, with my dates and times so I did. Being that he is the owner I thought for sure he wouldn't get back to me for a while but he actually called me within the hour.. I had the kids with me, and they were super excited that he had called.. he asked me the meaning of the tattoo. I had told him the meaning, and that on Saturday was her one year anniversary.. he oddly enough had an opening on Thursday of that week and said that he would love to do this tattoo for me.. obviously me and the kids were super excited that I was going to get it before mommy's one year anniversary. I have gotten tattoos in several states from many different artists - and after many different experiences, Next Level Studio is by far the best shop I have been to for a tattoo by an extremely large margin. The staff are extremely friendly, the shop is very tidy and clean, and the talent of the artists is unparalleled. All of the artists genuinely care about delivering a high quality piece of art, which can easily be seen in their work. When you enter the shop, you will see countless awards hanging on the wall above. This is a testament to their talent and skill in their craft. The tattoo that Manuel did on my forearm won 'Best Tattoo of the Day' at the Mesa Tattoo Convention a few years back. Next Level isn't the cheapest tattoo shop you will find (which is CERTAINLY a good thing!!), but their price is reasonable for the outstanding work they do. I had a cheap half-sleeve that I got in Georgia covered up by Next Level Studio, and they did an Amazing job. I came in in tears over a tattoo from another shop that was tattooed at the incorrect angle. Manuel immediately sat down with me and began to sketch out ways to fix the tattoo as well as cover up options. I ultimately decided on getting a cover up and put down a deposit and over the next week sent him different ideas for the cover up. He sent me ideas back and we discussed both the ideas and their wear over time multiple times on the phone. He was not pushy and looked at each of my several ideas providing his honest opinion. We decided on a monstera leaf for the cover up and he sent me the design idea the same day. When I went in for my appointment, he fielded additional questions from myself and my husband about the cover up and placement ideas on where to get the original tattoo elsewhere. I got my cover up tattoo and the original tattoo this time at the correct angle both on the same day and I could not be happier with both. Hands down the best shop there is! Manuel is the most professional and kindest artist I have ever met! I have other tattoos and piercings from other artists, so this isn't my first rodeo in a tattoo shop. I came to him with a vague concept of what I was looking to get, and we spent months planning a huge thigh piece for me. He was open to listening to what I wanted in my tattoo, accepting to any changes I wanted to make prior to my appointment, and made sure I fully understood what we were doing the whole time. I've had 2 sessions now and have spent well over 12 hours at his shop. During that whole time he was nothing but professional and kind. To top it off, the cleanliness is impeccable. My sister and I have both received daith piercings recently from Manuel as well. Not only is he great with tattoos, he's also a phenomenal piercer. I plan on taking my girls here soon to have him pierce their ears as well. I'm so happy I found such a great shop! Manuel is AMAZING! He saved my nose piercing and made my experience overall a lot better. I went to a different tattoo lounge prior for my septum piercing and the guy that pierced me did it too low and used jewelry that he shouldn't have due to the healing process. I was in absolute tears after I got made fun of for my wonky piercing and Manuel saved the day. He had a big event that he was hosting the night I went to see him but he turned around and fixed my problem first! He gave me a pep talk because he knew I was upset and was very sympathetic about my situation, he's a great guy. He ended up having to re-pierce my nose and did an amazing job. Manuel Flowers at Next Level Studio is truly an artistic genius. I've given him total creative freedom in tattooing an entire sleeve to memorialize my fathers life. I truely felt so disconnected from my father since his passing until this Friday night when Manuel completed my dads portrait. It is true remarkable and feel he is closer than ever. The shop is extremely clean and the staff is knowledgeable, caring and already feels like family. Manuel did my 7 month old's ear piercings and he did an Amazing job! I couldn't be more pleased with the entire outcome! He was so meticulous in the whole process, he was incredibly informative and answered all of my questions and concerns. He was so precise and patient when it came to lining up her piercing to match and like symmetrical. My daughter did really well with him as well, he made he feel very comfortable, which made it go soo smoothly. I was expecting to be there for a while but he was able to get it all done in about 35 minutes. The whole environment and studio was just so relaxing and comfortable to be in, im so grateful i came here. Manuel is doing a full rib tattoo for me and both sessions he's made me feel comfortable and the shop as a whole is very welcoming and full of talent.
