I booked a half sleeve tattoo here, paid a 20% deposit, and was scheduled a month out with no prior consultation other than submitting an inspo photo. When I arrived, the artist pulled up a rushed sketch that didn't match my inspiration in size, orientation, or detail. When I requested a small change (swapping hibiscus for lily accents) CJ seemed annoyed and suggested rescheduling the entire 6-hour appointment. A week later, I messaged him to review the updated sketch to avoid rescheduling again and haven't heard back in 4 days. They also make up non-disclosed policies in an attempt continue charging me more money without providing any service on their end. Between the poor communication, the unprofessional attitude, and the continuous addition of undisclosed policies, I do not feel valued as a client and do not recommend this place. ​​​​​​​​​​​What a waste of my time and money. read more

I have gotten 3 different piercings here, all done by Pat and have been happy each time! I came as a walk in each time and waited no more than 30 minutes and the people at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. I got my nipples done first and that went super well, pierced perfectly no issues and done quickly. I then most recently got my rook and septum done and again SUPER easy. When it comes to pricing I would say it is very fair. I payed 85 for my nipples and 130 for both my rook and septum and this includes the prices for the jewelry I chose. I also brought a friend here with me and he got his conch done and same thing, quick and easy piercing. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend coming here for piercings and again shoutout to Pat for being so informative and precise with everything. read more

Don't ever come here. I want to preface I'm this review a couple months after my piercings. First off, the piercer was super disrespectful, wouldn't acknowledge me and commented on my other piercings being done wrong. Mind you this is my 11 and 12th piercing. This by far has been the worst. I'm super allergic so I called ahead to see what they would pierce with. They said I was good. Mot even one week later, my ear is puffy and has puss. Went to the doctor because it would not stop bleeding. Turns out the jewelry I bought was not sterling silver like they said. That is already over $100 wasted on jewelry. The piercings are way too close to each other and both got lumps around the piercing. I switched out my jewelry about a week ago. I could see the angle he pierced now, they are sideways so the earrings are closer now. so I switched to hoops, and it does look better. My Ears are still red and brown. I have decided to retire both piercings now due to the color of my ear, the pain and overall bad direction of piercing. I will never return, when I called to ask about removing, they said the piercing shifting was my fault. Overall, between piercing and jewelry this was a waste of over $140. read more

i came here a year and a half ago and pat did my lip piercing and he was cool. he gave me a longer bar to help me with my healing process, he explained everything well, it was quick and painless. i would come back for pat. BUT, i came in last week to get the other side of my lip done, i honestly forgot the guys name but he immediately came off a little rude with me but i brushed it off because whatever and the piercing went fine but the piercing was a small bar. i thought it wouldn't make much of a difference compared to last time so i didn't mention it. this morning i wake up and my lip had swollen up and literally swallowed my piercing... i was freaking out and i didn't wanna go to the emergency room to get it taken out cuz i wouldn't be able to afford the fees they'd charge me so i grabbed a sharp scalpel and took it out myself. kind of traumatizing not gonna lie i've been keeping it pretty clean so i don't know why it happened if it's my fault, idk why the piercer wouldn't give me a longer bar considering the healing process for lip piercings in general ‍‍ i called a few days ago to come in and get a longer bar but they said they'd charge me for it which doesn't make sense to me and i ended up never coming in but now i really regret it. idk if it's the piercers fault or what so i'm not gonna give low stars but i really believe this could've been avoided if the piercer just advised me to get a longer bar considering i have a big lower lip but oh well read more

I had my "ohms law graph" tattoo done this week 2/23/22 by Alexis phoenix. She laughed and said it was alien language and that she didn't know what it was. She was awesome and very detailed in the ink, I used to think tattoo artists on the east coast were decent, but I was proven very wrong and was blown away by the detail to the final product. My tattoo was not anything special but was very small with the letters and as I took the protection film off today. I saw a perfect emblem of the stencil, all of the numbers and letters were perfect. Made a basic ear piercing appointment (twice) and CT still passed my appointment time by over 25 minutes with no reasoning or customer service to assure me they're running late and they apologize. I also want to add on several occasions I helped Thora while working in the jewelry dept. at Nordstrom and always offered white glove service with exceptional customer service and held her business to the same standard. I have been into the Tempe location several times (bought several earring, belly ring, nose rings plus double piercings) since moving to AZ. My most recent I came in was last Friday to change out my double nose studs that were done at this location. I got sick and lost one of the tops for the piercing. I put on one of my other tops and called today to basically be laughed at for asking if they'd replace it, I just bought a week ago. The guy said you just want free jewelry? Went in to get a belly button piercing, just the jewelry not to get it pierced, and had to wait AN HOUR. The workers inside were soooo slow oh my gosh and there was 6+ people waiting also getting frustrated. The workers inside did not really seem to care or speed up doing their job which was also frustrating, and once I was checked out I had to wait another 30 minutes just for my piercing. Like I know it's not gonna be a 10 minute in n out trip but oh my gosh it was so stupid and frustrating. Regreted coming here. Came in for a walk-in and had a very simple and easy design and the artist Leon charged me $150. I gave him the benefit of the doubt despite it being barely 1 inch. It literally took 5 minutes to do and the artist was rushing and rubbing my skin so hard every time he wiped. I have more intricate tattoos double this size that only cost about half of that and came out really well. The one I got here just fully healed and I can see how uneven the lines are. Out of all the tattoo experiences I've had, this was by far the worst and was a clear ripoff. There are so many other tattoo spots that charge less and will take their time with you. I went and got my smiley piercing / frenulum piercing done from Johnny. Very cool guy and years of making a name for himself but unfortunately I was not feeling his choice of jewelry. After a few days passed I started having questions on the piercing and why was it so high up, where it looked like my lip fat was pierced and not my frenulum . Was looking for a tattoo artist in AZ since moving states and stumbled across this place, so I emailed CJ Hurtado (Tempe artist) about a floral sort of- half sleeve tattoo quote, (basically just two flowers not even a half sleeve.) which I was quoted $900. Since I'm not looking to spend $1k on a tattoo not even worth that price, I asked how much it would be to do a smaller design since that was "out of my budget". With that being said he emailed back promptly that he is not the artist for me and he wishes me LUCK to find someone within my budget. With a balloon head ego like that I will gladly give a different artist my money. He could've said $700 for the smaller and I'd be fine paying but NOPE better just assume I can't afford a tattoo:) take your money elsewhere maybe find a humble tattoo artist instead of going to CJ, glad Im not supporting someone that thinks like that! read more
