I found this pharmacy through the Blink Health discount prescription app. This place is a regular…read moreneighborhood pharmacy, no grocery store etc. This was the first time I attempted to use the Blink app. When the pharmacist tried to enter my info, he first got an error from the system. I showed him the Blink phone number for pharmacies and he was able to call and correct the issue in short time. I was also on the phone with Blink customer service and they were telling me they couldn't help me. Thankfully the pharmacist sorted it out in a few minutes so I didn't have to go wait in a long line elsewhere. While I waited, a couple other customers came in and picked up their prescriptions - they both seemed to know the pharmacist. I got my prescriptions filled quickly, much faster than the big stores normally get it done. Even with the little problem at first, it was still quicker than waiting in line at a big store. The pharmacist was very nice and helpful. He also gave me a pretty 2020 calendar and pens. Hardly anyone gives out calendars anymore and I must say this was a nice little surprise. I'm sure younger folks won't appreciate that but I do. Even though scheduling is digital these days, a physical calendar next to my desk is easier to glance at for reference, especially when I'm on the phone. Haha I will be back to this pharmacy.

The doctor's office is on the far right side of the Target Optical shop. There are multiple doctors so don't be disheartened if multiple people are checking in at the same time. There were 5 of us checking in and my appointment was kept on time! Check in was a breeze. The receptionist was kind and efficient. There were no up-sells or spiels. You have the option to have photos done of the back of your eye and to opt into eye dilation if the doctor deems it necessary, but it's just a matter of checking yes or no on the form. No one gives you a sales pitch. The doctor told me that my eyes were in great shape and even though I consented to eye dilation, it wasn't needed. I was assigned to Dr. Tina Xiu and she was incredible! I appreciate that she wore a mask, sanitized everything before we used it, and explained everything before doing it. She walked me through what the machine would do, what she was looking for, etc. She took the time to ask if I had concerns or questions and answered them thoroughly. My only complaint is that the waiting room is very tiny and there were 5 of us at the same time so I wound up waiting outside the reception area. At the end of the appointment, you're led to the glasses area if they're prescribed for you. However, there were 8 people ahead of me so I left. I wound up finding glasses online for much cheaper since the optical section was understaffed. I think those are more Target's choices than Progressive's so I don't want to dock them.

That being said, it was easy to find and they were able to provide us with a wheel chair so that my friend's mom could come with us to the Strip today. Their prices were reasonable too! None of this foolishness that we encountered with another company, only delivering to hotels. Nope, they allowed us to pick up the WC, and we've got it for a week. looks like Mom will be up for some excursions with the fam!

The operators name was Patty and informed me that the computer system was down because, "I don't know if you are aware or not, but President Trump has shut down medicaid, and we aren't able to check on the computer." At that time I became very angry and informed her that I was a Donald Trump supporter and he has nothing to do with her incompetence. I told her that I would call back tomorrow (02/20/2019) and if she can't give me the answer on why I'm not getting my supplies......I will be changing my supplier!
