This facility did not provide a good experience for my family. Arrived for our appointment a little…read moreearly only to have the office locked with lights turned off. I tried calling the main phone number numerous times and tried multiple extensions including the counselor's individual extension. Voicemails were left at each extension. Finally after waiting in the hallway trying to call the office for about 20 minutes, I was able to connect with a person through the "wrong" extension. But at least someone answered. While on hold, I was able to figure out that there were two different offices on different floors in the same building. I spoke with people twice over the phone in advance and not once did anyone specify a suite number or even let me know that there were two different office spaces in the building. My confirmation text messages did not include a location address or suite number. This situation is a simple communication mistake. It's annoying and could have been avoided, but still something I could shrug off. All I did was find KP Counseling on the office building directory, went to the floor listed then followed an arrow to the correct place. My big issue is with the service that followed. After finding the second office suite, I was informed that the counselor left because we "did not show up." We were there in front of a kp counseling door. Plus I called the counselor's extension three times. Kp counseling should know that they have two offices. Someone could have checked the other door. The counselor could have called me. When I stated that I was at the other door trying to call the office and the counselor, information changed to "she was exposed to Covid and left for the day." 1) Was the counselor going to keep the appointment with a young child knowing that she had been exposed to Covid? 2) The counselor still should have called regarding not being able to complete the appointment because she was exposed to Covid, if that was the case. There were so many opportunities for the office to communicate effectively with kindness and failed to do so. If the counselor and/or office can't even perform the basic communication with a client, I do not have confidence that the counselor would be able to help in an industry that relies on communication.

I have been a patient for over 10 years. I saw Dr Malik before she started referring me over to…read moreisha. I would zoom her about every 6 weeks then 8 then a couple months for med refills. I ran out of Klonopin on a Tuesday a medication they filled for me for 10 years. I didn't receive a notification that it was ready by Friday so I called my pharmacy. They said the Dr hadn't approved it yet. I called the office at 3 as soon as I found out it wasn't being approved. I tried leaving a voicemail for Isha but someone from the office just picked up. I explained what was happening and she told me they won't fill prescriptions if I haven't been seen for over 3 months. I told her I didn't know that. She said it would be in the paperwork. Ugh that was 10 years ago I don't remember. I told her I was having extreme panic attacks due to the sudden stop of the medication. She told me there was nothing they could do. She wouldn't even offer to try to contact Isha. I made an appointment which wouldn't be for 5 more days so I decided to see if I could get a hold of Dr Malik. Same thing as with previous phone call. I hadn't slept for 3 days because I have restless legs and that is what the medication is prescribed for me for. So another sleepless night and get up Saturday crying shaking head feeling like it could explode, ringing in my ears, shaking, jumpy. I look up Dr Google and it says to never stop Klonopin abruptly that it causes all the symptoms I was having as well as strokes and seizures. I called the office again at 11:00 am and talked to an emergency line that told me they were going to try to get a hold of a Dr. It is 2:00 in the morning now. I never got a call and I will be awake again. They DO NOT Care! I could literally die. I have never abused medication. I get my 30 day supply and refill it after 30 days but since I've been taking it for 20+ years so my body is used to it. I have not felt cared for by them for years but it was easy to do a zoom visit and be done. I never expected anything like this to happen. Terrible horrible thing to put someone through because you're lazy.
