Once I got to the person that was going to stitch my hand otook one look and said that he couldn't do the procedure. He told me to go to the emergency room. I stopped by the front desk and I was told I couldn't get my refund of $65 copay although no work had been done. She then said that she would contact the manager and told me to call back as I left for the emergency room. I called back on 06/09/25 speaking to a different front dest person telling me I should have tried to get it on 06/06 and I told her I did. That young lady called me on 06/10/25 leaving me a voicemail saying the manager denied my request for a refund because the male nurse did take a look at my hand. I tried filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but they are not accredited with them. I will never go that particular office location again for nothing. My bank is going to reach out to them. Everyone avoid them and don't give them any business until they do right by their customer. I hope this helps someone because I've learned a $65 lesson.

When he took my blood pressure, it was quite elevated: 175/75. My doctor said I should go to urgent care for medication to lower the BP. Unfortunately for me, the nearest place was CareNow on Midway Road. I walked in at 4:30 and explained I needed medication for high blood pressure. The receptionist had her nose in a book and seemed very inconvenienced to have to check in a patient. She was extremely rude and barely spoke two words to me. When I got to an exam room, the aid took my blood pressure. It was 189/99- a very serious hypertensive emergency! But the aid was not alarmed. He informed me that they did not have any medication for lowering BP. (Although he was quite ready to administer a shot for pain. This seems to be their "catch all" treatment for people who walk in. I told him "no thanks." He did offer to call in a prescription for me. He also said that I couldn't leave until I saw the Doctor. I sat in the exam room for nearly an hour. ( I had been fasting ahead of my physical for a full blood panel with my primary doctor.) It's nearly 6pm by now and I have not eaten in over 24 hours. So, I stepped out of the exam room to see if I could leave since I needed food and there was nothing they could do for me anyway. I saw the aid just sitting at his station. Beyond him, I saw the doctor just sitting at her desk. GRRR! With a BP of 189/99, she should have been in to see me immediately to tell me I needed to get to the ER. So, I left to get food and realized I was not informed as to which pharmacy they called for my prescription. I tried calling them several times and each time my call was disconnected. So, I went back there. New receptionist this time, but even more rude than the last one. She looked me up on the computer and snapped at me, "You walked out! So, we didn't call it in." I couldn't believe it. At that point, I searched for the nearest ER and went to Advance ER on Inwood Drive. They were amazing! They took excellent care of me. I got the medication I desperately needed and they kept me there to monitor me until I was out of the danger zone. I am shocked and very angry at the lack of care at CareNow. They should be sued for criminal negligence and the entire staff should be fired. I could have died and nobody there cared.

TERRIBLE SERVICE & RUDE EMPLOYEE. I came here to get my ear wax removed. I was extremely…read moreuncomfortable and had a lot of pressure built up so I scrambled to find an urgent care so I didn't have to go to sleep with this pain. I walked in at 7:50pm, they close at 8. It takes less than 5 minutes to do ear wax removal. As soon as I walk in the front desk lady tells me "aw man I was just about to close the door" and I apologized for walking in at the time that I did but made sure she knew I was only here for ear wax removal. She was nice about it. There was latin looking man in the back who said "walking in 5 minutes before we close is crazy" this man is the same man who cleaned my ear out. When he came into the exam room he stormed in very aggressively and very clearly angry. I tell him nicely "please be gentle with the irrigation because I get very dizzy" he then proceeded to tell me "I know what I'm doing.". He was impatient, rude, aggressive, and left me extremely dizzy even after I told him I needed breaks in between the irrigations. During the irrigation i apologized AGAIN for walking in 10 minutes before close to the doctor and the nurse and the room was dead silent. This field of work is meant to serve the community. Help those that need helping. This man lacked that passion/respect for the field he is in and the workplace. I do not recommend coming here and i recommend they train their employees to be respectful at ALL times. I don't understand why you'd decide on a career choice if you lack the passion, empathy, patience, and professionalism. Shame on them for this sort of experience and treatment.
