This place is incompetent, told me I needed cataract surgery but then I would still need glasses but they wouldn't accept my insurance for payment. I went today to get fitted for hearing aids and they won't accept my insurance for payment, now they knew what insurance i had from the beginning, they also were supposed to had ordered eye drops to be sent in the mail one month before the surgery which I still haven't received. I called and canceled my surgery, I called the people about the eye drops to tell them I wasn't going to pay $80.00 for drops I didn't need that should have been here almost 10 days ago to see what they what they wanted me to do with them and said they never received a prescription for them. All this shit sounds crazy to me. They won't take my insurance for payment for glasses or hearing aids when they knew what insurance i had from the beginning and should have told me that from the beginning. This has always been my "go to" spot for non emergencies, for myself and my kids for about 10 or more years now. Today's visit changed that. I will never take my child back to that particular Urgent Care. My daughter catches just about everything that goes around her school, so we are at the Urgent Care a pretty good bit. I'm the kind of mother that wants to know what's wrong with my kid when they're not well. Ok, the nurses are so very sweet, they know my daughter by name. Today, my daughter goes in because she has had diarrhea for 4 days now and it's going around her school really bad. When she sneezes she poops herself, that's how bad it is. I was scared that she was going to end up dehydrated, so, I took her to Urgent Care, Robinwood Rd. Gastonia, Nc. The doctor, PA, Scott, whatever he is came in and listened to her belly and went out of the room. He called me to the next room alone and had the nerve to say... "your daughter is not sick", "she comes in here a lot during the school year, but none in the summer". " I'm just worried about all her absences at school". FIRST OF ALL... How are you gonna tell me to my face that my daughter is not sick when I'm the one at home washing her soiled laundry and putting vaseline on her raw bottom! Second of all, her absences are none of his concern, they're mine. Third, if he "cared" like he said, then he would be taking care of my daughter like he is suppose to and none of that mess that he shouldn't be worried about in the first place, wouldn't have even crossed his mind!! We were in a car accident yesterday and decided to go here instead of the big hospital, due to covid exposure, felt it was safer to get checked here, we were denied treatment due to not having our accident report with us, which is not available to us yet! Staff were not friendly, made comment of here comes another one!! Terrible service. They don't take walk ins even though their website says they do. They tell you to come back in X amount of days to retest for COVID, then when you come back refuse to see you because "you need an appointment". Why wouldn't you tell me to schedule an appointment when you told me to come back???? I've been here with 3 different children and had terrible experiences each time. Their website shows no appointments available for 3 days but in person they can schedule you an appointment for the next day, sounds like they're manipulating the schedule as they see fit and are "prioritizing" patients at their convenience. Extended wait because doctor was doing skin surgery.. There were no other doctors here. An urgent care should have at least two providers unless patients like to wait an hour. Went here and the doctor was awful. All he cared about was running as many covid tests as possible to get his extra 51dollars per patient. We had not been exposed at all , and had basic sinus infection symptoms. He was rude, super pushy, extremely insulting, a short little jerk, who called my medicine into a pharmacy he knew was closed. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN from this awful urgent care. It's NOT real healthcare just a short sweaty little doctor trying to get rich and pad his pockets from the pandemic. There are some real urgent cares down the road. This clinic is the pits and needs to be reported. I would not recommend this place for any reason. I had an urgent problem. I was sick. I couldnt see my family doctor for another day or so. I had to stand outside to fill out forms on my cell phone. My phone (due to low memory) would not do what was needed. I needed to take a picture of my drivers license, and insurance card, which my phone would not transport to the application. Everything had to be filled out by the phone. My phone is old....I cant afford a new one. Maybe I should have brought the laptop with me. If someone is sick should they be standing outside. Really! I took my husband to the NestCare Urgent Care . It was Sunday and we couldn't wait until Monday to see his dr. It was that bad................I called the phone number from home and they put me in line for him to be seen................they even texted me back and said 30 minute wait..............Everyone was so polite and nice. Urgent Care isn't the type of place you're clamoring to go to, but if I had a choice between this or a hospital, then this would definitely be my choice. My most recent trip here was to get a tetanus shot, considering that I needed a booster & may have gotten tetanus....a good reason to go if you ask me. Anyways, the wait wasn't too bad & I wasn't in any pain so it seemed like a quick process. Everything went pretty smoothly & I got my booster shot within a hour or so. It was also much cheaper than an ER visit, so add that to the reasons I'd rather go here than a hospital. read more

BEWARE!!!! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND THEN TREAT YOU LIKE CRAP!!!! I went to this urgent care center because I had just moved to the area. I felt absolutely terrible. My job sent me home because they said that I "looked like walking death." I went here because they had pretty good reviews online. Boy was I deceived. To began with, the lady who I saw showed absolutely no compassion. She asked me a question then she did not even allow me time to respond before expressing her frustration. All I did was came to the doctor for a little help. She asked me what I had been taking for my symptoms and I told her like 3 OTC medications. She suggested that I add two more OTC medications to what I was already taking. Needless to say, this shot my blood pressure through the roof. Thus I had to seek medical attention somewhere else for my original problem as well as my newly acquired elevated blood pressure. To top it all off, I get my EOB and it clearly states I should have been charged $10 when this urgent care actually charged me $20. I say all of this to say, please beware. I've been to this urgent care twice. I got the same doctor and nurse both times. Waiting was my only issue. Which they were just doing their job and there were patients in front of me. The nurse Adriana is the most precious person! I remember her from my first visit and the FNP Spencer. These two women are amazing. My first visit I could barely move and had severe back pain. My second visit i was having a severe allergic reaction to some medicine. I just hope these women know how magical they are. read more

My daughter had a appointment at 11:00, she didn't leave until 12:15, was only there for a COVID test, while she was waiting in the room, she noticed several employees not wearing masks and even the doctor didn't have on a mask while in the hallway talking with other employees. This facility and staff were super slow. Understandable to have an influx in attendance due to COVID. 7 hours later have not been seen for testing and on the triggered side of emotions. Highly recommend to not use this urgent care during COVID. I have not seen anyone other than front desk so this is my initial take on this location due to their lack of rush. read more

At first, I thought this was a great place to go for care. They were thorough and listened. After the last visit where I had antibiotics again, they refused to call me in the preferred prescription needed for a yeast infection, when it was no problem the last 2 times. I was treated like an addict looking for pain pills. I get that it MIGHT interact with my daily meds, but it didn't the last 4 times prescribed. I will be discontinuing my monthly payment and seek treatment elsewhere. Somewhere that understands that I know my body better than they do, and care less about covering their ass than how they treat the patients. read more

The actual facility appeared to be clean and well maintained however, the parking lot (adjoining driveway specifically) has 2 huge potholes (craters), that could very easily damage patients automobile wheels, blow tires or cause severe underbody damage to a vehicle. Whomever owns the property (parking lot and access driveways) needs to maintain them to safe conditions! read more
