    I made appt online and checked in before getting here and this fat Mexican man at the front desk isn't respectful of my patience waiting after helping someone in front of me. Choose not to acknowledge me already waiting and choose to assist other ppl who just walked and had the nerve to tell me to have patience. Here it is 9:15 and I'm still waiting. He needs to be fired

Seriously, my family comes here for all our emergency needs, from major to sickness to major infections. Here are three main reasons why we only go here for our emergency needs. First, I appreciate how our overall time there is swift and smooth. We can hold our spot online before we get there. Then we arrive to a peaceful waiting room. On average, we are there a little under an hour leaving with a diagnosis and remedy. Second, the best part is the staff tending to your care. They are educated, personal, and thorough. There have been many times where they offer counsel that is current and educates us. One instance was on steroids and how the pills taken at home are better than just a steroid shot. These guys know that they are talking about. Lastly, we are private pay and the charges are clear, reasonable, and upfront. We know exactly how much a general visit will cost, and when further charges are required, we negotiate up front. No second guessing. We have always just paid from our savings, but it does appear they have payment plans. They were actually in the news for forgiving the debts at multiple of their locations. She has insurance and good insurance. So we ended up at the E R at Hillcrest and they were great with her. No ID needed. Just patient care. Most 92 yr olds do not have any form of ID. I will not be going back to this location. That is terrible for our elderly.

System knew they…read morewould no longer accept marketplace plans after 2026, yet did not announce it until after open enrollment. Some patients do not have access to employee plans and rely on Marketplace plans. Baylor Scott and White has decided to make a political based business decision based on recent Medicaid changes, while eliminating individual marketplace plans. For patients, we work to build our medical care teams within the BSW system, only now to be told our continuity of care matters not. Interestingly, the media is the one that has announced the end of these plans, yet the system has yet to inform the plan holders. I am sure that they will further change clinic and hospital insurance policy to not accept outside insurance plans. Sad to see a community care system which sends the message to the community "we want to care for you, but only if you are not on a marketplace plan or Medicaid". I used to be a proud customer/patient/client of Baylor, Scott and White but they have demonstrated a few times now, they care not about patients not Medicaid or marketplace associated.

The rooms are clean and they not only wash hands between patients but they also sanitize with sanitizer. It is a policy of theirs. I had a situation with no masks being used at a facility so I just searched on the internet and found an email / name of the second in charge. I let him know what was happening and this changed the next day (I had another appointment there). I like their policy to be your own advocate so if something in your gut is telling you something speak up! I kept fighting for my pain issues and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. That was 18 years ago. I still kept getting pain, and I found out I had a rare immune disorder. My doctor fought for me and I absolutely will always be thankful.
