Our experience here solidified my belief that real estate agents are no longer needed and we won't…read moreuse another one in the future. We paid the same fees as we would have with Redfin, but received an experience that was far worse. Our realtor listed our old home and purchased a new home with us. About midway through the process, I started referring to her as the "designated fee collector" in the transactions. To begin, she had no idea what the market was doing in our area. She told us to list the home for $20,000 below what our identical neighbors house had just sold for two weeks prior. We listed it for the amount we thought it could sell for and received a full price offer. She promised that a professional photographer would take pictures for the listing. When she posted it, it had cell phone pictures she had taken on a walkthrough with my wife before the house was cleaned or staged. I am not sure sure how many online buyers looked at those first photos but I was sure that was why it took longer to sell. When we complained, she hired a photographer to retake them, but our experience looking for a new home was the damage was done to the market in the first few days of the listing as people quickly de-selected the house from their search feeds. When we did receive an offer, it was one bumble after another. The agent clearly had zero negotiation training and after we made a counter offer, she sent us back an agreement saying they had accepted. When I looked at the agreement, they rejected our counter offer completely. Once we made it through the process, the deal fell apart a few weeks later because the purchaser had a lien from the federal government. I then found out that our agent had known this was a problem for several days but failed to mention it to us. We had set up early in the process to have a rent-back agreement with the new owners while our new home was being built. While in escrow, our agent called at three times and asked when we thought we would be out of the house because the purchasers wanted to know. I repeatedly asked why that was an issue since we had agreement allowing us to rent it back for up to a month? We later found out that our agent had told the new owners (according to them) that we would be out of the house the day our new home closed. The agent never went to any of the walkthroughs for our new home, gave us a referral to a mortgage company that was not competitive, and did not give any updates once the contracts were signed.

I have attempted to buy the foreclosure condo twice from this company in which the listing agent…read morewas the owner of the Realtor company . The first time we made a full price offer with 50% down and we payed closing costs.. Long story short after waiting a couple of weeks with no answer from the bank on the offer and very little communication from the listing agent we pulled the offer. It ends up there were a few offers submitted and it took the bank over 20 days to accept. Over a month later the condo is re listed, I immediately submitted an offer again the first day it was listed. After a week or so we were told that the bank that owns it was cleaning up the first transaction and then they would look at the offers....fair enough! Our offer was submitted on 14 Nov 2014 for the same deal: full price, 50% down and we pay closing. I guess two days later a cash offer wash accepted by the bank which would have been 16 Nov 2014. We never heard anything from the listing agent letting us know that our offer was not accepted. I requested my agent to follow up with the listing agent since it had been over 3 weeks since we submitted the offer and I thought that the previous transaction between the bank should have been completed. That is when we found out that they had accepted a different offer 3 weeks prior. Communication from the listing agent / owner is VERY poor.

We worked with an agent, shelli Churchill, from this company from sept 2014 to April 2015. She…read moreserved as both our listing and buying agent. I regret ever hiring her. Our entire experience was a nightmare. I had to beg her to do open houses, she did very little to market selling our condo, I had to make copies of our flyers, she once lowered the price of our condo without asking us, the only marketing technique she liked to use was lowering the price of our condo so it pops up at the top of the websites again. Very lazy, useless agent. We could have just done it all ourselves. We found our own home via an open house. When it was time to coordinate moving she was more concerned with the people buying our place than us. I will never recommend her to anybody!

I was confused about something and said it seemed counter productive, and because of that simple observation and stating it to her over a text; she decided to kick me out the following month. She gave me 2 months and refused to speak to me about anything at all. I had a housing voucher that I lost because of this situation. I had to give it up because no one would help me... not even the case manager at HASCO... It was so weird something was not right. I don't know what she said to potential landlords as I applied for several places in my budget, however I could not find a place to move...(I have average credit, no evictions, or damage to units in the past).... leaving me and my 2 autistic children 1 being non verbal with no choice but to move back in with my mom, and THANK GOD for her. I would have been homeless. I have not shared this until now due to being completely traumatized, and harassed by people I can only assume are her flying monkeys for a period of over an year after moving...This is a true story. This is my experience and if you are not already renting from them....Don't. You're welcome in advance.
