I started reaching out to them and finally got a projected start date of late Sept. 2020 at the end of July, 2020. As we got into the middle and late August, I tried to reach out to them again to get a firmer start date. After numerous attempts by me they finally responded in the second week of September that they would not be able to follow through with the late September start date. I was told they could do the job next Spring! They stated that due to CoVid they had laid off half their work force! I understand that CoVid has created huge effects in our personal lives and economy. However, I noticed that other companies are responding and continuing to take on work. Ren-O-Paint's decision and late communication with me forced me to immediately search and find a company willing to take on my house painting. Fortunately, I was able to succeed finding someone and will get my house painted when I wanted it done and not to Ren-O-Paint's schedule. I regret having to give this negative review of Ren-O-Paint not keeping their commitments, but so it is! Despite the crisis, other companies are able to make commitments and keep them!

He put his time, effort, and money to get the project done as quickly as possible despite some of the external factors we faced, such as supply chain delays and bad weather. There were many times where he helped advance the project himself with his own hands when he really wasn't obligated to do so. I am grateful for that. The end result was spectacular and there was much attention paid to all the little details. I hope to cherish this house for many years to come. We had "Revenge of the 90s" wallpaper that needed to be removed, and it had been applied with way too much glue. He spent extra time removing it, and repairing the damage that was underneath. And he did some basic repairs, like replacing trim pieces and fixing cracked veneer on an older door. Generally, he went the extra mile with everything he did. His prices are very competitive, and are an excellent value. Jose also does handyman work, and I'm sure we'll be calling him again when something comes up. Exterior Painting: Jose and his crew arrived on Monday to repair and prep. The siding was very dry, and they took extra care with primer. They repaired all the damaged siding (thank you, birds). Somehow, the paperwork listed the wrong color paint for the front door, but when we saw it, Jose immediately went out to get the correct color, and had it finished a couple of hours later. The entire job was completed on Thursday afternoon. The whole crew was kind and helpful, and Jose was very easy to work with. I highly recommend his company.

I reached out to Jorge regarding a paint job for a rental property. I found him through Nextdoor,…read morewhere one of my neighbors hired him for a complete exterior paint job for a decent price. I contacted him and he cane out and gave me a verbal quote. I agreed and told him I was having floors replaced so I would need to have that completed first. He said if He did that part he could give me a price break, unfortunately his price was higher than the flooring company that I was using. So we set the date for after the floors were completed. Along the way i reached out regarding trim work and replacing doors to which he rarely answered the phone and preferred text. I would ask when he could start and his responses were hit and miss. Finally when we set a date, I reached out the day before and asked about items I was purchasing, and then asked him to send a final invoice (which he did not seem to want to provide) and when i gave him all the prices we discussed he mentioned an additional $500 or so for the paint. Now keep in mind when we initially discussed this project he said the price would only increase if I chose a color other than white. And he was giving me the price because it was because he would use the same color and sheen for the walls and baseboard. He decided in the end that he wanted more money and since he does not provide written estimates without repeatedly asking, he was able to change his price. Being that tine was running out I asked if he would honor his price and told him to cancel one item on the list because this was going to put me over budget. I asked if he would honor his original price, and from there he stopped responding. The next morning I called to see what the plans were since I had to schedule time off to have someone there for them, he did not respond to texts or my last call. In the end, I am fortunate I was able to experience this before the project started since it could've become very stressful. I do not recommend any company that does not provide written quotes and will change prices on a whim. Not to mention one that stops responding to a client that they've scheduled a job with.

Compared to other quotes in the area, their rates were VERY fair and they did a great job! They finished the job in 2 days and even painted the fascia in the front which made our house look extra clean! Updated review, 9/2023: Start Cleaning kept our 4-bedroom rental home sparkling clean all year! After the initial deep clean, they came every two weeks and left the place perfect and sparkling every time. I especially appreciate the little touches like creatively folding back the tips of the bath tissue rolls. They are friendly, prompt, and thorough and always communicated with us in advance as to when they would arrive or if they needed to adjust the schedule. When we moved out last month, they did a final move-out clean and the house looked amazing. We got our full deposit back. Thank you, team!
