Cue in NH Beach Pizza and you've got a third, conveniently located option and YES it's delicious!!! Sweet sauce, just enough cheese, not too thin or thick crust...yum. They also have a variety of other things like meat pies etc. The best part really is having a learning disability that affects your judgement of sizes so trying to figure out how to get the elongated box through the door is always fun. Always excellent beach pizza & friendly service. I ordered a full tray of extra cheese and 5 cannolis sat night. My wife picked them up. I didn't tell her I added cannolis to the order and as a result she didn't pick them up. I called the shop when I realized our oversight that night and they were great. The employee apologized for not sending the desert back (seems like this was atleast half my fault) and offered to make us new ones next time we came back. I picked them up just now and the kids are pumped for a great desert! The employee was outstanding! read more

Went into Beach Pizza today. It's been a while, a long while since I've been back here. A young man named Nathan made my pizza, half cheese half pepperoni. WOW!!! Delicious! The pizza was perfect! Who doesn't love beach style pizza with a touch of that sweet sauce style crispy crust. It's off a Main Street in a off street plaza so there is parking. As you enter you get a feel of a bakery type pizza joint, very nice. Greeted by a very helpful and friendly worker. Place is clean with plenty of counter style seating and small tables around. Beach pizza. Got some beach pizza the other day, and for the second time we we're sorely disappointed..........We tried them when they first opened and the pizza was truly delicious. Freshly made as it should be and truly "beach" pizza. Now since they hit it big time and their pizza is found in retail outlets, their pizza is absolutely horrible! Our pizza was obviously made way ahead of time and put on racks until the cheese is put on, which is essentially stale pizza with cheese put on it. Pizza should be made fresh....... isn't that what pizza is? Not something they make the crust, put sauce on it, and it hangs around until someone comes in to order.....Bread gets stale and so does pizza. This process accommodates the Beach Pizza employees, but certainly does not accommodate the buyer. The pizza we received was dried up, hard as a rock, burnt on the bottom, yuk!.....If they can't handle the process for a walk in pizza shop, stick to pre-produced, packaged pizza, and call it a day. There's nothing wrong with pizza from a package, even though its certainly not best compared to freshly made pizza. I totally love Sonny's pizza. It's packaged, but there's something I love about it. But I know what it is.....I take it out of the package, throw it in the toaster oven, and viola...pizza. When I walk into a pizza shop, I expect freshly made pizza. Went to Beach Pizza for lunch as we were sick of the usual options in the area. We are used to other beach pizza's in the area but didn't have the time to drive there so thought we would go to Beach Pizza. I have to say, "Beach Pizza" it is NOT. When I went to pick up there were one and a half sheets of pizza with the barely any cheese on it just sitting on the tables behind the counter. They looked dried up. I should have taken that as a sign. Apparently, they just throw the already cooked pizza that has been laying around with fly's landing on it, in the oven for a second time and that's what they actually give you. 8 pieces cost almost $17.00! Dried up pizza with BARELY any cheese on it. How does this place stay in business? Did I mention how UNFRIENDLY the guy behind the counter is? The owner of this establishment should be ashamed of himself charging that kind of money for such inferior pizza. At least if the other establishments make the pizza ahead, they don't put the cheese on until it is ordered. How the heck does this place get 4 stars???? There is no way this is a 4 star pizza joint. Never mind a 4 star beach pizza joint. Do these people even know what beach pizza really is? I have read other reviews that say if you order mushrooms you get canned mushrooms! How disgusting is that? Phenomenal pizza!!! Crust has a crunch on the bottom and a chewy softness in the center. The sauce is sweet and herby and the cheese is melty and perfectly proportioned. We got the extra cheese full tray and it was gone in 20 minutes. Highly recommended. read more

I got a pizza here after being referred by a friend and I don't have the heart to tell him it's the worst pizza I've had in a long time. The crust is way too crispy, the sauce too sweet, and there is almost no cheese on it. I ordered mushroom and they are not fresh, they're canned and they cost an additional $4. Went into this pizza place on a nice Sunday Afternoon with the family not expecting very much to be honest.. I was total wrong!! The cannoli was better then good it's was the best I had that side of The North End in Boston. That's saying a lot!!! I'm all about desserts. This pizza was thin crusted, some what crispy(what have wanted it to be more) It had sweet red sauce and cheese. While I was in there I saw the owner/ manger make a pizza it was cool they keep it simple and old fashion. Hand rolled fresh dough. They add the small cubed cheese after the pizza had cook 99% of the way. He said that if not the cheese will burn up. They them add provolone cheese to each square slice. The pizza was good but I'm not a pizza fan in general. It's a must try in my mind if your in that area. I do think the pizza is comparable to Thipotle Pizza. Will be back for sure. read more

Anyone who doesn't love Beach Pizza is either a curmudgeon who loves to complain or an outsider of the greater Lawrence area. This pizza is virtually 100% consistent each time. If you're not familiar with the concept, it's a square slice with sweet sauce and a small amount of cheese (as compared to traditional style pizzas). Always nice and crispy. I love mine with sausage and mushroom. The sweet of the sauce and salt from the sausage compliment each other so well. Head down and give it a shot you won't regret it!!! read more

Not only is the pizza fantastic, but the customer service is top tier. I live out of town and was planning to take a trip to Salem to fill up my freezer with their frozen pies. They're a favorite in our house! I put an order in for the pizzas a few days before my trip and confirmed they would be ready in time. I arrived and the pizzas weren't at the restaurant so the staff put a call into their distribution center. The owner answered the phone and asked if I could drive a few miles up the road to their warehouse. I happily accepted. When I arrived the owner sent someone out to my car to deliver the frozen pizzas and threw in a couple extra for my troubles. It is very rare that this kind of service is offered at any restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff and incredible food. Couldn't ask for anything more! Highly recommend. read more

Holy F@#%!!! Unbelievable. We went in to grab some dinner and ordered a box of 8 slices. We each got one of their pies as well. First, the meat pie. Other than the awesome fact that I was choking down on food named a meal pie, it was a delicious explosion of flavor a in my mouth. The dough was super tasty and the filling was ground beef with pine nuts, onions and seasoning. Would highly recommend it!! Next up was the pizza. While we were waiting, the owner gave us a run down on how their pizza was made and why they did what they did. Having had pizza in all parts of the country, I was excited to try their version. What an incredible surprise! The crust was crispy and perfectly cooked. The sauce and cheese combo was sweet and made me just want slice after slice. I don't think I'll find pizza like this anywhere. Yep I won a free box of 8 on Facebook, on a side note if you do not know the term "box of 8" as it refers to pizza stop reading. The place is clean staff friendly but most of all the pizza delicious,most people compare it to Tripoli, I have always been a Christy's guy, again if you don't know who those are...stop reading. This pizza compares equally to both. I will still drive to the beach for Christy's because the ocean and air makes even my cooking taste good. But I will NEVER have to drive to Lawrence again. The chicken parm calzone appears to have been made with packaged frozen chicken fingers, and the breading on the fingers doesn't blend well with the sauce. The pizza looks and smells amazing, sadly I can't say the same for the taste. What's the deal with the overly sweet sauce? People enjoy this? How? Why? My Nonna is rolling in her grave. We love this pizza. It's not NY style at all, but rather the beach style familiar to NH and Salisbury, MA beachgoers, like Tripoli or Cristy's. I ordered and paid online. Had a confirmation number for 6 o'clock then I get a call 15 minutes later from one of the employees that said he canceled it on accident. I asked him that I still wanted the order and will pay when I got there and want to see the cancellation, then proceeded to ask me to pay over the phone again, I asked him if he could have the pizza ready at the same time and proceeded to tell me no they were way too busy even with their mistake. I showed up a half an hour later like I was requested and there was no one in the store, except for two kids in the back not cooking and their buddies hanging out talking about inappropriate things. He asked me what I was there for and I said to pick up an order on the Joe. He proceeded to look at me and say oh shit I have to cook that now give me time, then turned around and went back to his conversation, after getting my order, the food is subpar. They used to be a very good pizza place in Salem and now they've gone completely downhill. I would not recommend anybody to go there. It's just a waste of your time. read more

Ok so the pizza is good but if that's all you can do then stick to pizza. Don't put things on the menu that you don't know how to make! They have a Fattoush Salad on their menu but they don't have dressing! Also, the main part of the Fattoush is toasted or fried pieces of Arabic flat bread that are the croutons, there were none! If you like beach pizza, the proper beach pizza from Hampton/Salisbury Beach, this is a must-stop! My boyfriend & I tried their pizza out a little over a week ago. The restaurant is clean, & it really does look like a beach pizza place from the beach. (Just with a little indoor dining space, & bottled soda instead of cans) They were quick to take my order, & the pizza was ready to go in no time. Just the same, the pizza was also gone in no time, as we absolutely demolished it. How was it? It really was just like the beach pizza from the coast! The sauce is absolutely delicious. It is a little sweeter, though not as much as Tripoli's, so I think fans of both seacoast pizza places will love this. It's got that perfect amount of crispiness to it. If you want pepperoni or extra cheese, it's done up JUST like at the beach. (With a slice of provolone for extra cheese) The only disappointing part of the entire meal was finishing the pizza & having an empty box left. Price-wise, the prices are exactly the same as the pizza places on the coast, & pretty reasonable. (I haven't tried the cannolis or the meat pies, so I can't give a review on those. Sorry!) We've since gone back, especially my boyfriend since his store is just a moment's walk away, & it's been top-notch each time. Had NH beach pizza a few weeks ago, I am not a fan of Tripoli pizza, but this pizza was 100 times better then Tripoli. Haven't tried the pizza yet. It better be good. Finished a marathon shopping spree at BJ's and came here for dinner. The man behind the counter told us that it would be about 20 minutes.
