We made a stop here while driving thru the area. The staff was outstanding. They could tell we weren't locals, made us feel right at home and had suggestions to try. My daughter picky eater says the chicken on the Caesar was the best she has had. The regular size is enough for 2 people and don't forget to add the pepper relish. Holly Meatball Sandwich Batman, this place is awesome. I was shopping nearby and searched for a sandwich shop so I could take lunch back to the hotel. The stellar yelp reviews got my attention. This place totally exceeded my expectations when i walked in the door. The hardest part was deciding on what sandwich to order. I got the Meatball Parm, and it was excellent. If i lived nearby I would be eating here all the time. Hand made pizza dough, the pizzas looked excellent. They also have To-to meals in the cooler like chicken parm, beef stroganoff, pasta & sauce that you can grab and take home for dinner. Also an Italian bakery with cookies and other yummy delights. Planning my daughter's birthday, I knew i needed Sicilian pizza. Welp let me tell you how difficult finding one was...I was not in the mood for Tripoli's or other square pizzas in the area. I needed fluffy, saucy, and cheesy without the sweet sauce. Someone had recommended I reach out to LoConte's. When i checked the menu i saw they had Detroit pizza and round pizza of course, again defeated. I called anyways. I spoke with Paul. What a gem. He was all for making me Sicilian pizza's without even a hesitation. Of course i needed to try it first before serving this to a bunch of crazy family members with high expectations. Paul said no problem give me 10 minutes and I will have one ready for you. Let me tell you, done and done. It was perfect. Exactly what we needed. We ordered 5 more for the weekend and then decided to add on 2 trays of chicken tenders which were SO GOOD. Crispy heaven. The amount of people who asked where the pizza came from was absurd. I think LoContes is going to have many more customers in the upcoming weeks. Paul and his daughter Olivia were so easy to work with, genuinely helpful and showed pride in their work. We have always gone here on Thursdays for their premade meals because well, end of the week can be exhausting but pizza is most definitely being added to the mix! I have been coming here since they opened. They have great service and great food! The pizza is delicious. I just tried their Margarita Pizza the other week and it was the best I've had in a while. Stopped in here for lunch and not only was the food amazing, but the prices were just as spectacular! The bread was as fresh as can be, the small sandwich was the size of a large anywhere else, and was jam packed! The pizza was tremendous, as we ordered a couple slices because it just looked so good. I stopped by LoConte's Subs & Pizza in Methuen recently for lunch takeout. This cozy Italian deli/pizza shop serves up a variety of hot & cold subs/torpedos, thin crust pizzas (by the slice or whole pie 14" & 18"), calzones, and salads. I ordered a Small Chicken Cutlet Sub ($9.50 plus tax) which was made to order and ready to go in about 5 minutes. I could hear the staff mentioning that their Chicken Parm Sub was their favorite. The small chicken cutlet sub I ordered was actually very big which had plenty of thin breaded chicken cutlets (chewy texture), topped with lettuce, tomato slices, and mayo on a big thick & soft white sub roll. I can only picture how big their torpedo subs are. This chicken cutlet sub tasted pretty good and sort of reminded me of the chicken cutlet subs I enjoyed at King Cutlet several years ago. Next time I stop in, I will have to try one of their specialty pizzas. read more

Excellent pizza place. The pizza is thin italian style like a NY italian pizza. Toppings are fantastic. Italian sub is fabulous great toppings and all the correct cuts of meats fresh sub roll. Meatball sub was great the meatballs were tender not dense. The sauce and provolone cheese were perfect. The portions are large. The staff has always been friendly,happy & helpful when I pick up my food. The seating is limited but I always take it to go so it's not an issue for me. This place is a hidden GEM. read more

Great little hole in the wall take out place. Friendly quick services. My son got a couple of slices, 1 chz and 1 pepperoni, big slices, great thin crust Italian style pie! I loves the chicken cutlet sub c prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and evoo, the sub roll was fresh and chewy/crusty. FYI the small size was huge! Just moved up here recently, was looking for a sub similar to Bob's in Medford, if you know, you know! We came upon this place and it will be my new "go to". The sandwiches are huge, the pizza is excellent, prices are fair. So far I have had a few of their Pizza's, really flavorful and made well. I had their Chicken Cutlet, Steak & Cheese and Italian subs - really, really good. Went here because of yelp reviews and it surpassed every hope. Food was amazing!! Had the Italian sub. Cold cuts were fresh. Sandwich was stuffed. Bread was great I just enough crunchy crust with soft interior. Small was the equivalent in length to most places large - 12inches? Hubby had the pizza. Pepperoni and sausage - real Italian sausage. Ratio of toppings and cheese was perfect and the crust was amazing. In honesty the outside of the place is nothing great almost dive like but don't let that discourage you. It was dry, bread was close to stale, falling apart. The tomatoes were dry & over ripe. Seemed like low quality cold cuts. bacon cheeseburger pizza.... Sound amazing right? So far, so good. I haven't made it too far through the menu yet, but the pizza is good. We've a few different pizzas here and we were satisfied each time. Employees have been kind each time and place appears to be clean. Prices are average in our post covid world, everything is expensive, everywhere. I prefer to order ahead anywhere, but definitely recommend it as they have been busy each time I've stopped by. I can not say enough about LoConte's. I found the place about a year ago, Their subs and prepared items are great. We recently had a 1st birthday party for my grandbaby, and I when to LoConte's to have them cater the event. Paul and everyone that I worked with was so accommodating. We did their sandwich platter and salads. I love that with the sandwich platter they put all the condiments on a separate platter so the sandwich do not get soggy. The salads were great and very large, and Paul worked with me to do something different. Everyone loved the food and there was so much for everyone.
