My dad passed away last week. My mom who has dementia, was so depressed she was not sleeping or…read moreeating and had injured her knee. I contacted Dr. Ostrue to see if he could help her. He sent a message of condolence for the passing of my dad through his assistant. And made an appointment to see my mom 8 days later!! In the meantime she got weaker, more depressed and her knee got worse. We took her to urgent care. They sent her to the hospital. She has to have surgery on her knee. This doctor did nothing to help my mom. And I will never put her care in his hands again.

I tried several times to call your so called Patient Advocate line. This "service" is a complete sham, and totally disingenuous. Scheduling appointments has been better, but the doctors are so busy, that it can take several months to be seen. The billing department is still a mess. They code things wrong, then we get notices from our insurance that we owe money. We tell them that we have met our yearly deductibles. After numerous calls, we still cannot get them to fix the issue. They say to call the insurance co, that it is their fault, our insurance says to call Dignity, it is their fault. Talk about mass confusion and lack of know what the heck you are doing! They are the king of that department! If it wasn't for the billing department, I would give more stars.

The physician was excellent, but the staff was not. They were often busy talking with each other, which I found unprofessional. I was experiencing significant back pain, and my doctor's note states no restrictions, even though my job requires me to lift boxes weighing approximately 30 to 50 pounds. When I spoke with the medical assistant, she took her time talking with her coworkers before attending to me. As a result, I left still in pain and without having my note updated.
