Fried Whole Tilapia

Great service. Attentive to details and quick. Colorful and clean decor. Nice casual vibe. Food is on point. The tilapia was well cooked and very flavorful. Appetizers were all well done, except spring roll's outer rice paper was a little dry.

Great Service when I waited for my Thai Boat Noodle to go.. gave me a cup of water and they were polite Nice ambiance with Thai decor and candles.. perfect for date nights or having an outing Thai Boat Noodles was rich, flavorful, and full of umami .. beef was tender and spot on including meatballs Master Stomach approved

Went here for a weeknight dinner and was seated promptly. Service was quick. Got the shrimp summer rolls that were served with an accompaniment of sauces - peanut and hoisin and tasted fresh. Got the tom yum soup and Basil fried rice and which were average. They can customize the spice level per your liking. Maybe coz it was a weeknight, the place was quiet and good to relax after a day of work.

A busy lunchtime restaurant in Bellevue. The food was fresh and very tasty, the service was attentive and gave nice recommendations. My husband has eaten here a couple times while visiting tech partners in the area, he loves this place. I agree it was delicious!

The drink and entrée were quite good. I wasn't impressed by the lava cake and didn't even finish it. But the coconut ice cream was delicious. It's convenient to the Marriott making it an easy choice.

Nibbana is conveniently located across the street from the Marriott. Food is so yummy and filling. Service is attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself is cozy and window booth seating. Nice to be able to see rainy Bellevue weather outside LOL

Amazing thai food. So glad I came with a large group because I got to try a variety of dishes! The interior is clean and homey but it does get a little loud. There is a parking garage really close by which was very convenient. We ordered: - Whole tilapia: this deep fried dish was definitely the highlight of the dinner for me. The crunchy skin and house marinade pierced through the meat inside. I still think about this from time to time. Huge portion, definitely share with your group. - Bbq duck curry: a close second to the whole tilapia. I just wish there was more duck meat but the curry is really creamy and nice. Duck meat was nicely cooked. - Tom kha: we originally ordered the tom yum soup but they brought us the tom kha instead but we tried it anyways. It was my first time having tom kha but it's essentially tom yum but with a coconut milk base (I may be wrong). A good soup to share if you like a creamier base. - Khor moo yang: we were recommended this dish by the waitress but it wasn't that special to be honest. It was good but I wouldn't order it again. - kow soy: also not too special but a good noodle for sharing - papaya salad: nicely sour and refreshing. I always like to get papaya salad at thai places for a palate cleanse. The portion was large but I've had better papaya salad at other places. Not bad but wouldn't get it again

Nice and simple and well lit place. Went here on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm. Best to reserve. Seated within a minute. We ordered Panang curry , sticky rice, crab Rangoon and motcha zen drink. The taste was good. Only thing is sticky rice came wrapped in plastic film in a small container(I don't know what it's called). I personally don't like anything hot in plastic. The quantity was extremely small. Motcha drink was not sweet on enquiring they told something that goes in the drink might not be sweet that particular day. Crab Rangoon was yum. At last we ordered mango sticky rice and the mangoes had gone bad and they served the dish without checking. They did not charge us for it but I felt sad as that was not acceptable to serve something without checking. Photos are attached for reference. Taste overall was good but I am unsure of quality.

Thai Iced Coffee and Thai Iced Tea

Nibbana Thai Restaurant is a solid spot for Thai food, with a large menu and a full bar. It's changed locations since it's beginnings, but still offers the same tasty Thai food that many in Bellevue have tried. I've never had a bad meal at Nibbana. In my most recent visit, my colleague and I came here for lunch and I had to take advantage of the lunch special for $15.95 where you can choose from a list of entrees, which come with rice and vegetarian phad thai. Not very many places in downtown Bellevue where you can get a lunch meal for less than 20 bucks at a sit-down restaurant. For lunch though, the place gets super busy, so I recommend trying to get here before noon on a weekday when the restaurant really gets busy. I ordered the lunch special of panang curry with beef and a Thai iced coffee. The meal didn't take long to get and it was delicious! I love a good panang curry and the beef was super tender with the red peppers. The phad thai was also tasty, with the noodles perfectly cooked and loved the egg throughout. If you work nearby, this is an awesome lunch special spot. But, the menu also has several other items to choose from, with just about any Thai dish you can think of. I'll have to come back for happy hour sometime with discounted bites and booze.

Food is really good here! Service is a bit slow but the place is big and clean. I got the crab ragoon. Can't really taste the crab, it was mostly cream cheese, so I wouldn't get them again. Also got a grilled dish and that was amazing. Same with the pad see ew.

Crying Tiger: steak, rice, slaw.

Had dinner here with a friend. New to both of us. I had the duck, she had the steak and appetizer. The duck was really tasty and tender. The sauce was sweet. It's not filling though, so recommend ordering rice or an appetizer. Took a long time to get our food and the check. Couldn't order what I wanted to drink due to the language barrier. Tables are too close together, hard to hear once more people came in. Would come back to try more items during a quieter time.

Soft Shell Crab Fried Rice

Get the soft shell crab fried rice and their appetizers - I think it was a fried chive dumpling ? AMAZING. So crispy and soft with flavor! I got a level 2 spice fried rice and it was not spicy at all.. i could've gotten 3. Will definitely be coming back here whenever I come to Bellevue. Our server was super nice and informative on the spice level. They even give you a little spice rack of 4 sauces as well if you ask for it to put in your food if you feel you want more flavor - my favorite was the pickled jalepenos. Ambiance was ok, a bit crowded in seating, kinda loud, but definitely happy hour and good vibes!!

Overall: A+ // 6 stars…read more One of my most memorable meals in a long time. The flavors take me back to my Bangkok visit just a few months ago. The staff were very friendly, particularly Ford and Tee who both sparked natural conversations, which was much appreciated as a solo diner. I was super impressed that they managed to give me even Thai restaurant recs in New York where I am normally based! Highly recommend. Pad Thai - The best Pad Thai I've had in the states. The acidity, saline, and sweetness all come through immensely bold as intended by the Thai flavor palette. Before I even took the first bite, I knew I was in for an authentic treat. When they serve Pad Thai with a spoon of sugar, that's when you know. The banana blossom is also a smart pairing, as its light and grassy to sharply contrast those bold flavors. Lemonade - Beautiful drink with expert craftmanship creating that perfect gradient of clear lemonade to the deep purple of the butterfly pea. I was too hungry to go and complain, so I just ate it. The spice level on the soup was good - this was truly a flavorful dish. The pad Thai was average and a spice level 4 (with 5 being the highest) didn't really get us a spicy dish. To add to my it, the server handing us our food had to be asked for napkins, plastic utensils and plastic takeout containers repeatedly and separately even when we informed them that we were going to sit outside and eat our food. The tab indicated that the server was a trainee so maybe that explained the strange interaction. The food was flavorful and I'd come here maybe to enjoy a sit down dining experience, but the service we experienced was sadly sub-par.

It was beautifully decorated, perfect if you're having a date or going for a cute gathering with friends. I went around 4:50 pm on a Saturday and it was not busy at all. My friend ordered the yellow curry and I ordered Thai Green Tea with Tom Yum Noodle Soup. I enjoyed my noodle soup, it was exactly what I needed with the sourness and the crunchiness of the fried wonton wrapper on top. I was able to finish most of it by myself besides the soup and bit of the ground pork. The Thai green tea was refreshing. My friend liked her yellow curry also. Unfortunately they did not have happy hour on the day I went, but I would like to try their menu for that in the future. It looks like they have a great selection of drinks. I will be coming here next time with my boyfriend on a date.

The fact that these were also coated in oil was pretty nice. On the inside, I thought the prawns were cooked well - they remained pretty soft and didn't appear overcooked I did feel like the spice was pretty much missing, though. I ordered 4/5 stars, but it tasted more like 1/5 stars as there was a pretty significant lack of spice that took away from a lot of the flavor potential. Speaking of the missing flavor, there should've been a lot more sauce added to this dish - either poured on top of the prawns or the prawns come sitting in it. The benefit of this is that it you can mix everything with the rice - and this sauce coats the rice to make it taste good. The way it's currently presented, the prawns are too large to really eat with the rice, and mixing the two will just result in eating the meat and taking another bite of plain rice because there isn't enough sauce to coat the rice. This dish just ended up being eating the prawns by themselves - the rice wasn't super useful As a result, after finishing I really wasn't that full For the price (around 20 ish) there are a good amount of prawns, but I wouldn't really say you're getting a good deal here

The restaurant was hosting an event, so part of the space was closed off, and service was noticeably slow. It took a while for the food to arrive. The khao soi was decent--not the best I've had, but still a solid choice. The Panang curry had a mild flavor with a subtle lime note and a touch of sweetness, which was interesting but not particularly bold. Overall, the food was okay, but unless you live nearby, it might not be worth the trip. If you do go, I'd recommend ordering a higher spice level, as everything leaned on the mild side. Good ambiance overall.

I ordered the mango mocktail and the banana curry, and both were delicious. The curry especially stood out. Rice isn't included by default, but there are plenty of carb options--you can add noodles on the side if you're not in the mood for rice. Portions are very generous, so come hungry. One slightly odd thing: they had space heaters running indoors. The overall temperature was comfortable, but the person sitting right in front of one was definitely feeling the heat. Service was very attentive and friendly, though not the fastest--dishes didn't all come out at once. It looked like there were only one or two people in the kitchen, so it's understandable. Overall, if you're vegan/vegetarian--or dining with a group that has dietary restrictions--and you're in Bellevue, this place is worth checking out.
