Almonds with salt and a squeeze of lemon
    Ben O.

My wife wanted to come this place due to the viral Video of the fresh almonds. We've never tasted fresh almonds before. The place is full of desserts by pound. Great variety of Turkish delights and middle eastern goodies. The guy was very helpful in explaining the different fruits etc. we got some fresh almonds as this was the primary reason we drove here. They were good and fresh. 3 stars because they were very price and found out later that they were selling fresh almonds down the street for a fraction of their price. Great store to visit for desserts but for the almonds - I suggest you shop around first.

I had heard about this place & wanted to try their Dubai chocolate bar & baklava. We were not prepared for all the varieties and wonders that this place had in store for us. If it's your first time here you need time to go through everything that they offer. It's amazing. They have nuts, Turkish delight, cookies, baklava, chocolate, stunningly crafted fruit ice cream/gelato, candy, coffee, honey, ceramics... It's almost overwhelming. We grabbed a few things to try & will be back.

Had heard about this place all over social media and accidentally visited a coffee shop in the same plaza so had to stop in! Such a fun array of Middle Eastern candies and other sweets, and just tons of imported items from all over. They have the viral fruit popsicles, dubai chocolate making kits, barrels full of spices, and dozens of boxes of various wrapped candies you can grab a bag of. They also have a huge display case of turkish delights. I know about the tradition turkish delights that are cut into pieces and covered in powdered sugar, but I didn't know they make rolled versions of any and every flavor you could think of. Oreo, birthday cake, pistachio, and more. So interesting. You can get an assortment of nuts as well, as displayed right next to the turkish delights. There is so much to see and explore in here, and so fun to see so many goodies that you'd never find in a normal American candy or grocery store.

I come here often, and the Dubai chocolate is always the highlight. It's rich, delicious, and consistently amazing every time I order it. The quality of the desserts is excellent, and there's always something tempting to try. If you're a chocolate lover, I highly recommend stopping by and trying the Dubai chocolate; you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely keep coming back!

LOTS of different chocolates, desserts to chose from, there was a strawberry chocolate that was $6 for 1!! Outrageous because I don't think the price is worth it I've had better chocolates before , be mindful of pricing because they do charge a lot , overall good (didn't have what I was looking for) for but would I visit again yes

Roasted! is such a cute and clean little gem. From the moment you walk in, it just feels cozy and intentional. The layout is inviting, and they've got a curated collection of unique goodies. I picked up their pistachio sauce (sooo good in coffee and over ice cream ), Ritter's chocolate, and Kinder's ice cream bars...yep, I was definitely in my snacky era and zero regrets! They also sell candles with the most gorgeous packaging....perfect gifts if you're into aesthetics and yummy scents, and I am, so I'll be back for sure! Great customer service and a chill vibe. Definitely a spot I'll revisit! I can't post my vids so TikTok/IG I go....

Nice shop with a huge selection of treats. Owner was really nice. Tried the viral fruit ice cream. Looks really nice but did not taste great. The ice cream itself was really good but the fruit coating tasted like chalk. Was a bit disappointed but at least I gave it a try.

Roasted is a really cool store with a wide variety of homemade sweets, bulk candy, and chocolates. The counter service was super fast. The store was adorable in decor. I would highly recommend a stop to this very unique shop!

Great shop for satisfying the sweet tooth! Located in a Temple Terrace strip mall you have to make sure you head in and take in the awesome smells. Great for purchasing spices, sweets, chocolates, nuts. Give them a try, really nice folks, friendly service.

This roastery and convenience store is super cool! So many goodies like ice creams, halal candy, European chocolates, Turkish delights (the pistachio baklava was ridiculously good), Dubai chocolate treats, and more! It was so fun to peruse the store and I'd definitely come back for more of the baked goods!

I thought this was going to be a cafe setup, but it's more of a shop that serves coffee. There's lots of treats/nuts/chocolate/turkish delight/and more to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful. I got some small chocolates to go, which I enjoyed. There was also some fun ice creams that I would have liked to try (ones I recognized from social media)

On 56th just off of Fowler there is a new strip center with an array of nice new shops. Roasted is snuggled in just a few stores down from my favorite Yemini coffee shop. The store boasts beautiful, dazzling and scrumptious eye pleasing confections. Their large selection of rolled chocolate and nougat delights stuffed with all kinds of sweet raptures had my mouth watering. A neverending selection of candies, chocolates and roasted seeds and nuts rounded out the store. German and Dubai choclates summoned and tempted me. A very clean store with a very pleasant and informative young man who guided us around this Palestinian business. I will be back soon for a highly anticipated assortment of goodies that I plan to serve at my next home gathering. It would also be a stunning gift for the hosts of the next party you attend. Those amazing chocolaty nougat rolls can be divided into bite size pieces for an extraordinay and provocative centerpiece. Can't wait to come back. Come get ya some.

Came to roasted to try the viral fruit ice cream creams and Dubai chocolate. They have so many incredible treats. From gummies to chocolates they options are endless.

However, it is the place to visit if you have the money & want to find candy from your childhood (1950's up); many flavored taffies; sour candy; Japanese, Korean & candies from other countries; gag gifts; every type of sugared soda imaginable (cold or shelf warm); small games; bobbleheads; unique toys & candies; gum in a multitude of varieties, tacky metal signs; & a host of other novelties! Gift certificates in any amount from $5 to $250.00 are available. I came for the nostalgic candy cigarettes (SEE PIC); the Necco Wafers; the Sweetarts; & the liquor-flavored jellybeans. Also picked up cinnamon box-shaped lollipops for my students. Did I overspend? Of course. Will I shop here regularly? Of course not. There's snacks, chocolates, hard candies, tea, frozen pies, curry sauces, cheese, and even ice cream. I felt like I was back in Woodbridge, England. I honestly haven't seen this many grocery items in one place since being stationed over there. It really brought back great memories. I ended up buying some sweets. I was mainly looking for a box of Cadbury Roses, and some hard fruit candies with soft centers. I can't remember the brand name. I ended up getting the Cadbury Bournville bar in the Old Jamaica flavor. I thought it had been discontinued. This is actually the first time I've seen it in years. I also got the Simpkins Mixed Fruit Drops. It's the simple things that make me happy. All tasted exactly as I remembered them to be. I didn't get to hang out at the store long enough. I think that's a good thing, because I would have bought the Cadbury Eclairs and the Walkers Roasted Hazelnut Toffee bars. I'll need to pace myself. I can't wait to return for more goodies. It will be even more tempting at Christmas time when they bring in seasonal candies (hopefully liquor filled), and tree ornaments.

It's located on the second floor of the casino space and easy to locate. If you're wondering, the parking garages that are closest to the restaurant are Lucky Street and Winner's Way at the 2nd Floor/Casino level. After walking into the casino, it's a straight shot to the Sugar Factory as it's hard to miss with its bright and dazzling lights. The Sugar Factory takes a super playful approach at the dining experience as it truly makes everything a photo op. From the physical restaurant to the food itself, the patron is immersed in a "gram"-rich environment (light weight mad that the food here is more photo-genic than I am). It appears to be great for large groups and parties/celebratory events. There is a small candy/sweets section from where you can purchase those delectable morsels by the pound, along with other small trinkets. The menu is similar to other bar/grill-type restaurants (comparable to a BJs and even the Hard Rock Cafe). One main difference is in the focus that they place in their dessert/sweets section. The smoothies and ice cream go hard when it comes to flare and accoutrements (as mentioned before, they look more like art work than food itself). These treats do run on the sweet side... (4th wall break - c'mon look at the name). So, if you want to do it for the gram bring yourself and/or the group to the Sugar Factory at the Hard Rock Casino & Hotel in Tampa!

During our most recent visit, we eventually walked into the dining area ourselves to find someone. Even after asking for help, it took another 10 minutes before someone came to the front to seat us. The desserts, however, are absolutely incredible. They offer a great variety, and while they're definitely on the expensive side, the portions are huge--one dessert could easily be shared by three people. The hot food, on the other hand, was underwhelming and didn't leave much of an impression. We'd consider coming back for dessert, but the service at the front and the quality of the entrées need improvement.
