Fastest pedicure of my life. I made an appointment so I wouldn't be rushed and I still felt rushed and like I was an inconvenience here. I paid $40 for a 20min pedi. I thought it came with a massage but she simply rubbed lotion into my legs and feet. For the time and price, I recommend exploring your options. I've found better quality and more affordable pedis in Portland. There were 2-3 other customers and instead of spacing us out (there were 6 available seats on the other side of the room) they put us all together. Not the most relaxing experience. They told me it was because I paid the $40 basic service. Maybe I'm out of touch with nail salons in WA. read more

Disclaimer: I bite my nails and cuticles so they look bad but I got my nails done here and I'm sooo happy that they look great considering my beat up nails Since I'm just visiting at the moment, I was recommended by my aunt, I took my grandma and I out to get our nails done. We went around 11:45am and walked in. We got lucky with timing as the phone was ringing a lot of estimated wait times or appointments. It seems like the booked up quickly last minute. We picked out our colors and were sat within 5mins. My grandma opted for a gel manicure and I got an acrylic gel manicure. Both of our ladies were awesome and so good. My grandma got Linh. She said she'll come back to Linh more since she was great with her nails. My lady, i forgot to get the name of, she was so fast and so amazing, she definitely is a very experienced manicurist. Gave me exactly what I asked for after a reference photo for shape and my chosen salon color from their stock. Best salon experience ever. I paid $35 for my grandma and $55 for mine. Worst nail experience! Waited 30 minutes to be seen and had a 3:30 appointment. We even arrived early! Charged me $200 dollars for two fills and a pedicure. left a good tip still..... my fill was rushed and 3 tips that were repairs are so crooked, looks like waves! And now two days later, my nail breaks and I was just typing an assignment. Wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary! I'm really upset! At least my nails should be straight and not break when I'm typing, especially for $200!!! just look at the pictures! The nails they fixed are all crooked/wavy! To make matters worse they kept pointing, and talking about my nails. Yea they are long, but if you didn't wanna do them just tell me that! I would have went some where else! Top tier service! I came in for a full set and had a great experience from the time I walked through their door to the time I walked out. The music, the vibes, the decor, and atmosphere was very refreshing and relaxed. The receptionist Keisha was wonderful! She was super friendly, helped me pick out a color, and even looked up some design ideas for me. Being that I am new to getting anything other than a basic manicure with clear polish that was extremely helpful! Ian very particular about my nails so this was me stepping out of my comfort zone and I'm glad I did. I came back and saw a different lady. The way she removed my dip was by putting my entire hand in chemicals instead of taking the time to wrap each finger individually. Let's just say the acid ate the skin off my fingers and I will never come here again. Also, they keep using shared files, you have to ask for your own. So gross. read more

We had a group of four. We didn't have an appointment, and asked if they had room for us (for four manicures and pedicures). They said yes, we they could take care of us right away. We were asked to sit and wait while they got chairs ready. 30 minutes later, we were brought to our chairs where our feet were out in cold water. Mere moments later, we were all told that people with appointment had shown up and we would have to leave. We were forced to do a pants-rolled-up-cold-feet walk of shame as everybody else in the shopped stared and muttered about why we were getting kicked out. This place is right down the street from us and we have had several average experiences (not great, but made up for by convenience). We certainly won't make that mistake again. read more

The staff was so great looking for it and even offered to watch their security video to see if I left with my glasses or where I set them down! That's caring customer service!!! This place is horrible. Extremely unprofessional. My wife went in for a mani/pedi - pedicure was on but the manicure was terrible. Got up sold to the powder and was promised her fingernail color would match toenails. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Not only did the colors not match at all but she was sent out with the sides of many of her fingers covered in pink. When she went back in to say she wasn't happy, the receptionist was TOTALLY RUDE. Had a pedicure done, the girl did a good job. Why is giving them 1 star is because I saw a mouse running around.. twice . Never coming back.

So I wasn't satisfied with the full set work they did, it looked very bulky and un-natural! I called them and they said I can go back, that they will fix it without any charge! I went, their lady boss comes and all of a sudden decide that they look fine. Beside that I had changed the color so she goes like, I will charge you for the color change," First of, its up the the costumer to decide if the nails look fine or not, it's up to our satisfaction, not yours. Secondly, if you are going to take the color off to drill the nail for a softer look, then you will have to redone the color anyways, so what if it is a different color, it's the same amount of work... their boss is very unprofessional!!! All she cares about is making money on customers and not about making a customer their ongoing client!!! She doesn't know how to run a business!!! I am sad for your small mind...:.. read more

This is my second time here. The first time I was in I waited in the water for an hour before a tech got to me. I decided to give it another chance so I went in for my second visit for a pedicure and to relax. No wait. Listened to 1 staff at front complain for 1 hour about a negative yelp review to coworker and possible friend/ client. You know this is unprofessional- I hope when you read this review you will not continue to discuss past customers in front of present customers. Same member of staff coached customers how to 'take a break from your mask" by placing under nose. The sign on the door clearly says you must wear a mask before entering. My cuticles were cut and bled in 4 different spots and upon closer inspection super sloppy painting job. I had lots of polish at tip of toes and all around edge. Two of my toes are barely painted as the polish is transparent. And since the massage oil/lotion wasn't 100% removed now polish is flaking off. I don't feel comfortable coming back for them to be repainted. read more

I normally enjoy coming to this salon. The ladies are good and nice. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE OLD ASIAN MAN WORKING THERE HE IS TERRIBLE AND TALKS WAY TO MUCH. He burnt my legs and feet with the hot stones and paraffin wax on my feet, then he wouldn't shut up about being a business man, excuse me sir I'm here to relax not to hear you talk about stupid nonsense. He did a shitty job on my shellac nails to the point I had to go back later, and then he argued with me of why they looked so bad and he just painted over them. So now I have like 5 layers of shellac on my nails which looks way to thick. Due to this experience I will not be returning. read more

The gal cut one of my toes with the file (made me bleed) and on my manicure, cut my finger with the file because she wasn't paying attention and made me bleed again. Fortunate not to get an infection. Was also told they would give me a student discount, but at time of payment only honor certain ones and wouldn't honor it. Worst experience at a nail salon ever! I walked in just needing one nail repaired. I normally go to a girl that is a ways away and I was wanting to try a place closer to home. My girl was out of town and I broke a nail so I figured it was a perfect opportunity to try Nice Nails since a friend recommended them. When I walked in a girl came up from the back and didn't greet me just said "What you want?" I told her I needed a nail fixed and showed her. She looked at it, looked at my other nails and mumbled something about fixed and sit. I followed her to her station and I should have left right then and there. She acted terrified like she had no clue what to do. It took her 25 minutes to repair one nail!!! The nail is crooked, has a ridge on one side and looks cloudy. I had to tell her several times to make it square even though she looked at my other nails several times and they are clearly squared. The entire time she said maybe 2 sentences to me and looked half scared half mad. I'm attaching photos where you can clearly see how horrible it is. The nail on the left is done by my normal girl and the cloudy one on the right is the "repair" and it is not out of focus it really is that cloudy!! read more

I do NOT recommend. Poor customer service, crooked nails, dinged polish and hidden fees. I was in a pinch so I went in to get a fill. Four times the tech tried to upsell me on gel polish and four times I declined which seemed to just irritate her. I pointed out my nail was crooked, she tried to tell me that's what happens when nails grow long...uh no! I asked if she was going to cut my cuticles and she said that was $5 more. She said my cuticles were fine, even though one of them had ripped 2 days prior and had bled, which she tried to tell me what caught nail polish... My finger got dinged going into the dryer and she said, "It's good, in the light it's fine"...uh no again, there was clearly a ding mark in the polish. When I went to pay, my tech had left and told the poor girl at the front to tell me "Your technician informed me that she forgot to tell you that there is a $5 charge for your nail polish". Ridiculous. I was not happy at all, you don't do something and then tell someone it costs. This place is terrible and I will NEVER go here again! read more

My toe nails falls off and comes on and in front of people he said damm girl what happened to your toe nail. I will never get a nail back but why point it out ? Ive been in 4 times now over the last few weeks since just around Thanksgiving or so, which was shortly after their Grand Opening, I think. The salon is average sized, in the shopping center near Winco where it used to be Bowyers Par # Golf Course (if you grew up here like I did, this should make you laugh just a little). The atmosphere is casual, and very relaxed. Soft music plays, and there are chinese style lanterns hanging from the ceiling which is painted black and really sets off the bright colors of the fabric the lanterns are made of, making them appear to be actually floating above you. There are some wood slats covering portions of the walls in a pattern and it fits the feel of the place very well. Its comfortable, and thats one of the things I liked about it immediately... I didnt feel out-of-place at all, or like I was intruding on anyones personal time. My first time in was with Jay and he really seemed to listen to the way I prefer my nails to look and even asked questions to clarify rather than just giving me lip service and saying "ok", but not really hearing what I wanted. Came back about three weeks later (I think. The Holidays were very busy for me this year.) and I was pleased to see he was there and that he remembered me and my preferences. His nephew was hanging around on this evening and I was chatting with the little guy a bit... figured out he is a Star Wars fan, so we had a blast talking while Jay finished up my nails. The kid was polite, and friendly... not a nuisance, or annoying in any way, shape or form (as sometimes happens when people have their kids at work so often the kid doesnt realize its a business and thinks they rule the place... thats never fun). The next visit I came in last minute before flying out to Vegas for NYE the next morning. Jay wasnt there but his brother was, and the boy was here that night, too. I explained my preferences to him and he did a pretty good job of what I wanted, but it wasnt quite as perfect as Jay had done for me (I will probably give the brother another chance, if it occurs again that Jay is unavailable to me at some time in the future). Was there this week and once again Jay finished everything exactly as I like them. I am officially a fan, and will continue coming to Jay (and his family) for the foreseeable future. Their pricing is very fair for the quality of what they do. They offer all the average services performed in any of the salons around town (waxing, mani/pedi, deluxe versions of the mani and/or pedi, etc). And there are some child sized chairs, also, in case your little diva wants to enjoy a "lighter" version of the pampering Mom/Dad is getting. read more

They asked if I wanted water several times, at first I declined since I had juice with me but after I drank it, they offered me water. I've been coming here pretty regularly since the week the spa opened, and I've watched it go downhill in the last year. The last few times I've been in for a pedicure, the polish job has just been so-so. Last time, it was so bumpy, I ended up going someplace else the next day for a polish change. Today might be the end, however: while I was greeted politely and the tech did a decent job overall, she left a lot of polish smudges on my feet. I didn't say anything at first becausd I expected her to do a touch up when she was finished. Nope. I had to point out each of the smudges and ask her to remove them. She seemed a little impatient, muttered about it being fine, and said something about washing my toes. Again, no. It doesn't just wash off. Now I've been left sitting in the chair for 30 minutes and no one has checked on me or offered to help witj my sandals, and eye contact with staff members has gone unacknowledged. I used to get my nails done here and always had good experiences. I brought my MIL for pedicures while she was visiting from Australia. She is particular and it got her stamp of approval for cleanliness. When it came time to pay, I think we were overcharged. I had a basic pedicure which is $25 and she had a deluxe, which we thought was $35. We were told $70 right before we checked out and I confirmed that we had one basic and one deluxe so I thought it would be $60. I couldn't understand her English and the receipt showed $70. read more
