You know, when you are in such pain, you can't even see straight? And your tooth seems to be at the center of a nuclear explosion. Well, i was there Friday night and talked to 6 other dentist offices that would not even take the time to talk to me or give me an idea as to what to do in such pain. May from Nice Nice Dental called me back and took care of me. So kindly. And sent me to get pain meds and found a way to get the dentist to see me first thing the next [Saturday] morning. The goodness kept going from there. I now have a plan to fix my tooth and a few other things i need to take care of. I come from a long history of trauma with my teeth - many surgeries, root canals and implants... i mentioned my painful history and Dr Cooke could not have handled me any better. I am super grateful i found them, even if the onset was the worst pain i have ever felt! I recommend this office for anyone who thinks being treated kindly, with respect, and likes an extra mile of compassion... Go to the AZ licensing board for Dr Cooke and you'll find the board has taken action against him for scamming people- filling teeth that had no cavities & giving people too much anesthesia- the board said he gave so much in one case that it could have caused death. Its very frustrating that despite these findings they still allow him to practice- he just got slapped with license restrictions & a requirement to take classes. I paid for some dental work that had to go out to the lab. They said maximum two weeks and scheduled . I was scheduled and rescheduled five times and finally I told them once they get the product in to give me a call. No call for two weeks. I finally called and they said come on in and pick them up which was odd to me. I asked them shouldn't. I see a dentist to make sure that they fit correctly. So we moves in new to the area and got a flyer and called and made sure they took my insurance. My wife and daughter went in and they said we had good insurance and everything was covered. Told my daughter she had 9 cavities, we were shocked but we scheduled her to come back and have the one side done. My wife had two on each side (one was to replace one that was coming loose). She got her one side down and they jacked her mouth up so bad she had to see another dentist and he called in an real surgeon to repair the damage. While there we had our daughter checked and she said that my daughter had 2. After all this they are now threatening to send me to collections because my "great" insurance didn't pay these hacks enough. I wouldn't nod my worst Emmy to these people and subject them to the pain they put my family through. read more

Worst experience EVER! Yes, everyone is very nice and friendly. But the level of skill leaves much to be desired. I went in with some tooth pain and was told I needed a crown. While Dr. Cooke was injecting me with the anesthetic, I felt this weird sharp pain/tingle on the side of my tongue. I flinched and told him. He said it was normal and continued to numb me. Once done with the procedure, I went home and waited. After a few hours, sensation came back, but I couldn't taste anything on the left side of my tongue. When I messaged Dr. Cooke, he called and told me that, though extremely rare, the nerve can be damaged at times. He said he felt terrible, but that it would eventually heal. Well... it's been 2 months and I still can't taste absolutely anything. I will most likely have to see an oral surgeon to see if this damage can be reversed. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this practice. Find yourself a competent dentist, not a "nice" one. read more

Unprofessional. First time I've ever had a cleaning that was extremely painful; and I regularly go to the dentist. Called the front desk shortly after my appointment to try and clarify some questions I had about some recommended prophylactic fillings for some stains I have by Dr. Cooke; was told I would receive a callback with the answers. I never received a callback. Called again two days later and was told I'd get a callback, yet I still never did. I even logged into their patient portal online and sent a message reiterating I had tried calling them twice now with no response. I never received a response to the email either. I do not recommend this place. I will be looking for a new dentist as this place obviously doesn't care about their patients. read more

I wish I could give this dental office more stars but unfortunately Yelp only gives us the option for 5. My husband and I were in town visiting from Los Angeles's California. Being my first time in Arizona this dental office and Doctor definitely made an impact on out visit here. My husband has always has had a problem with his teeth and so that means we are always constantly going to the dental office. Unfortunately in California being a super busy and fast going state, we have also always been very disappointed with the dental care my husband has had. Either we always left with the bare minimum of care (antibiotics) and a huge bill or dental procedure that still never helped my husband's pain and still a huge bill. Coming to Arizona we did not plan or even expect for my husband to start having a tooth pain (due to a cracked molar), but sure enough it began the first night we got in town. Being that iv never been to Arizona or my husband not even having insurance we really didn't know what to do at 4am. My husband sitting in extreme pain that brought tears, I gave him the option of visiting the ER or waiting for early morning to see what dental office we could find near us in Peoria, Arizona who would be able to see him on a Friday morning with out insurance and hoping they would just relieve my husband from his pain (pulling the tooth out.) So sure enough my husband held on to pain and tried to sleep in our resort room. As soon as 9am hit we decided to look up "dental office near us" and next thing you know (thank god) "Nice, Nice Dental" popped up on our search. We called immediately. And it was just ment to be. The very respectful and kind receptionist said walk ins are welcome and the doctor will see us soon. We were there in matter of 2 minutes and right from the start I knew we made a good decision. The doctor was the best. There is no other way to describe the doctor besides he was amazing, kind, funny, sweet, very professional and very proactive and supportive of our decision on what we were going to do. He explained that the cracked tooth was able to be saved but if it was causing tone of pain he was supportive with my husband's decision. We decided to get it pulled. He was very conforming and non pushy throughout the whole experience. He attended to my husband needs (been my husband is super sensitive to pain) he took his time and made sure my husband was 100 percent comfortable. Overall my husband and I loved the experience so much my husband is strongly considering to travel back to Arizona from California just to see this doctor for his dental work. You just dont get this experience and patient advocates out in California. Thank you Nice Nice dental for the care and services you provided for my husband.
