Dr. Mattson and his practice have absolutely positively earned every single one of them and then some. Dr. Mattson is a second-generation dentist, and shares the practice with his father. Having grown up around dentistry, It is plainly evident by everything that happens in that practice that Dr. Mattson thoroughly loves being a dentist. From the second I sat down in his chair, up until I left. Dr. Mattson and his staff were all courteous, compassionate, professional, and superb at their duties. Dr. Mattson's chair-side manner is the best I have ever experienced. He genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being, taking the time to explain every aspect of your procedure in sufficient detail that even someone as hugely dental-phobic as I am is put at ease. My procedures were all conducted quickly, smoothly, and professionally, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. I'm very happy to say that I have found a dentist for life. So Dr. Mattson, please don't ever retire. :-)

They do not believe that my money grows on trees...nothing worse than a financial surprise on the day you are numb from freshly completed dental work. I (weakly) joked to her "may our paths never cross again," but in fact I would be delighted to be her patient going forward, if further perio care was needed or if she was a regular DDS. The front office was very organized too. I completed paperwork online and they didn't make me duplicate it via the usual clipboard. I gave my name when I arrived, saw the doctor, and was on my way without presenting an insurance card or giving a copay. Great stuff. Thx again Dr. Grant!

After taking the time to come in, I was told that they don't even offer this treatment and was given the excuse that it is "bad for the teeth." This is completely misleading and shows a lack of respect for the patient's time. If a clinic doesn't provide a service, they should say so upfront instead of wasting people's time and money. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for honest and professional communication.

He is unprofessional, non caring and quite incompetent for the field of work he is in. My dental implants are losing screws and uncomfortable and he refuses to answer any call from me. I can not be the only one who's had this experience. Dr. Mike should be fired.

We're talking about over $600 difference in what the estimate before dental work and what our insurance actually pays. This was very disappointing as we would not have changed out so many optional filings if we were given accurate billing info up front. I spent hours on the phone with McKenzie trying to resolve billing differences and often she would tell me to call my dual insurance companies to see if they could figure it out. Dr Hayden himself and his hygienist were wonderful but beware of what you'll be charged after the fact. You can't rely on their estimates.

The staff is honest, friendly, and warm. They will greet you with a big smile and call you by your name. The facility is clean and they have a neat waiting area with refreshments. The staff will go out of their way to accommodate different schedules and even a walk-in if needed. They have enough toys, books, and gadgets to entertain the young ones. My experience here has been great so far. Scheduling was easy and Julie at the front desk is awesome. GET A SECOND OPINION!…read more After my initial X-rays and exam, Jeffrey Dewey recommended I have 3 crowns, and several resin composites for gums. The treatment plan was over $5,500. They sit you in a financial person's office and try to put you in a pressured situation. They will give you a fancy binder, a nice pen and chapstick. They'll have the Dentist hand sign a treatment plan letter made out to your name. They'll try to use the Dentists veteran status to gain trust. Seek out a 2nd opinion before paying thousands for possible treatment you don't need. I had my X-rays sent to my previous dentist after being at Summit Dental and followed up with an appointment. My original dentist said my teeth looked the same as usual and he replaced one old silver filling with a new one. No mention of crowns or any other unnecessary work. Vulnerable people are trusting a Dentist because we believe what they advise is true. I fully support our veterans and I support getting dental treatment when necessary. Unfortunately this office was one I will never return to. I would advise against anyone considering to go there.

We recently had a housefire and needed to meet with a contractor at the same time of as the dental appointment. Unfortunately, the office insisted on charging us a $50 cancellation fee for missing the appointment. There are some things in life which you have no control over such as when contractors will start to repair your house. Some flexibility would've been greatly appreciated! All that said, we will most likely return to Dr Forster as he is a good dentist.
