UPDATE NICKS BURGERS Burger is fresh meat, had cheese (I liked that it was actually melted). The lettuce is leaf lettuce which I like. The pickles I do not like. (The Best Maid Hamburger Pickles are the Best), the edges of the bun was soggy I just cut it off. First off, the service is hit and missed . The food is okay and over priced.. I live a block away and my bun was completely soaked and a soggy mess. When I called to see if they could replace the bun or burger the woman I spoke with said sure but you'll have to bring the current burger back to us.. I said really? Isn't that illegal to take food back that had been not only handed out to the customer but had been ate through a little bit.. I thought to myself, okay... My fiancée took the burger back, they took it from him and offered to refund the burger that they weren't making another one and did not offer a refund to the food that was getting cold after having to inconvenience ourselves from our anniversary dinner to drive back andThey did not replace or refund the burger. I will not provide my hard earned money to a place so rude and disgusting as Nick's Burgers. Had I been recording I would submit the video to the local health department.. Hopefully no one experiences the horrible experience I had with them. I would have been better off going to a local burger chain. read more

Burger was a little bit over cooked so it was dry but had great flavor. Bun was good, siracha mayo was a good touch. Service wasn't anything special. The girl taking orders had no desire to be there. Me and my family (party of 8) were staying outside of Kingston for a vacation. We decided on Nick's Burgers because of its reputation and reviews. The staff at Nick's made us feel welcome from the very start. The manager himself brought our delicious meals and even comped ice cream for my small kiddos out of the goodness of his heart. The food was delicious and the Star Burger is a one-of-a-kind burger. I highly recommend this small, family owned restaurant anytime you are in the area. read more

Terrible food wasn't even edible! No silverware offered. Wasted my money! Go elsewhere.

Had a coworker picked up our order and the whole order was wrong and was missing food. When I called they were more then willing to make it right and replace the messed-up food as well as reimburse us for our inconvenience. Once he arrived the owner was unwilling to reimburse us and basically told us to deal with what we already have and move on. We didn't care to be reimburse, we just wanted our food fixed. The entire ordeal took a little bit over an hour to handle, which caused my coworker to take a extremely long lunch break because of the driving back an forth. The only positive from this experience was the girl who was at the register named Jennifer. She was awesome and provided excellent costumer service. Do not go or order food ahead of time if you only have a 30 minute lunch break. read more
