I really hesitate to say anything negitive about this place as they are my favorite BBQ walk in sit down restaurants around and I live in Pottsboro Texas. So, we like to drive up there for Rib's Thursday. Did so last week , the ribs were, tid bit off, but nevertheless fantastic. Then, we drove through and got a lb. of sliced beef. Requested "moist" (fatty/marbled) got home, was lean and dry and didn't seem even to have the usual deep smoke ring? Most of it still sitting in the refridge. Kudos for getting the only Wheel Chair space marked and cleaned up back to usage quality. Still my favorite BBQ though. Its just had to part with $20, for almost nothing. read more

First the good, my waitress was on point, friendly and amazing. Little crammed but the decor was alright. The corn nuggets was the best thing I had there... Now the bad; the meat was so bland and dry, if I didn't have a drink, I'm certain I would've choked. I've had bbq from multiple states and this was by far the worst. Ugg, sadly I will tell our experience today. This used to be one of my favorite places. Started out with they were out of baked potatoes at 2 PM. Ask for extra crispy fish and got moderately crispy and a big hair rolled up in one of the fillets that I've been into. I actually picked the piece of fish up with the hair and took it to the waitress. Needless to say appetite was ruined. My husband had macaroni and virtually. It had no cheese on it, he got a side of their cucumber salad, and it quite possibly was just cucumbers drowned in probably a craft Italian dressing, we also got a side of corn on the cob. It had no butter. It was completely dry and not sweet, the ambience is friendly. After seeing the hair in the fish, they responded with "oh that's gross. I will let them know." I was ready to leave, and my husband went up to pay. They charged him for his meal and comped mine.. wow what a terrible experience today. read more

Smokey, tender BBQ meats. Great sides. Fast service! Mustard potato salad and BBQ beans for me. I love mustard potato salad. This was tangy, made with enough mustard to meet my requirements. My wife had the Mac & Cheese with the vinegar slaw. The slaw was light, not loaded down with mayo. She also has the lean sliced brisket and turkey. I had the chopped brisket which is a little fatter as it should be. With that, a decent hot link. Meats were all smokey and tender. I liked the chopped brisket the best. A good variety of sauces: mild, smokey and hot. Check the pictures. Looks like a BBQ joint inside, filled with a pleasant smoke aroma. The food was on the table in minutes. The waitress was terrific! The food was excellent with 2 exceptions, the potatoes in the potato salad were hard. The turkey and brisket were 10+, the pinto beans were some of the best I have eaten! I was disappointed because a barbecue place supposed to serves Ribs and brisket, but this place did not have ribs to serve said they don't have ribs. I had my mon with me on my day off we were looking forward to Ribs could have went anywhere, but we chose this one spot because it was supposed to be good. Loved this place! First time visit, stopped on the way to a concert at Chocktaw. Ambiance is perfect and wonderful; service was fantastic .... And the food!!! Mac and cheese with your choice of meat - epic (and comes with extra cheese sauce); pulled pork, ribs, brisket - all were outstanding. Cucumber salad and beans were great sides. Yummy bbq and fun to try corn fritters visiting from the Pacific Northwest, where such things are only heard of. Very friendly young man who served us and kept the sweet tea flowing. Found this BBQ place while visiting Kingston, have been 3 times since , hands down awesome BBQ. We get the plate with all the meats on it and it is awesome. Okay this place is soooo good. We ordered ribs and brisket and tons of various sides. We didn't know what the little ones would eat but they chowed down on corn on the cob, fried okra, twice baked potatoes, sweet potato, pinto beans, mac & cheese, and green beans. The ribs were so delicious, and the brisket as well. So tender. The place was packed at lunch, but orders were taken quickly and served hot. We had enough left overs to last until that evening. This place is amazing. The last two times I have gone it has been amazing! I got the loaded Potato Bowl which I don't like corn so I didn't add that. But it was super good! Service was great too! So we've eaten BBQ a lot over the past 2 weeks and by comparison, this place didn't hold up. Choices are limited in this town so maybe the other ratings are judging based on what's here. The ribs: they didn't take off the membrane. The meat was fairly moist. The rub they used did add much. The brisket was chewy and seasoning was lacking. Disappointing overall. The pineapple sausage was the best thing on the plate. It had a great balance between savory and sweet. The beans were meh, just regular pintos. I expect to have more seasoning and sauce to a bbq joints baked beans. The potato salad was too mustard for my taste. It was walking the tightrope between a regular potato salad and a mustard potato salad which wouldn't please either potato salad lover. Service was great on our to go order. Best chopped beef sandwich I've ever had. It wasn't full of lots of fat and yucky parts that most places add in theirs. The sweet tea was perfect! I thought the chicken wings were bone in but there were boneless but AMAZINGLY good. The smoked turkey was sliced turkey breast yet PHENOMENAL. The ribs were as advertised and were DELICIOUS. For a barbeque place this is as mediocre as a meal in grade school. None of their barbeque sauces are any good and their rub leaves a lot to be desired. There is a smokehouse west of town past the glass factory in case you want to try some good ribs or an option that goes well with sauces. I gave Main Street Barbecue three tries. I had ribs, pulled pork, and brisket for the main courses. They didn't have barbeque baked beans and their potato salad was worse than mediocre. Their sorry excuse for good beans tasted like a can of generic pork and beans. The sad thing is that they are at easy walking distance from home and I can't make up an excuse to ever go there again. read more

We were first here before COVID and were impressed with the food, atmosphere and service. Fast forward several years later, and the same applies. Incredibly fast service and the food is awesome. Paola is a fantastic server and we enjoyed speaking with her. My husband had a jalapeño sausage sandwich with corn fritters and I had a smoked sausage sandwich with cucumber salad. Stopped here on our drive from Dallas to Tulsa. The staff was so wonderful. Every single person was so nice and our server was excellent! This may seem silly but I hate when you walk into a new place and you don't know if you have to be seated or if you seat yourself and they were quick to politely let us know that you seat yourself :) The food was great. I have never seen a potato as big as the sweet potato we ordered. Food was so very fast (I did notice they have a drive through as well). For as fast as it was it was hot and seemed pretty fresh! ot a summer salad with blueberries, pecans, spring greens and smoked chicken which was wonderful! I appreciated having a different and lighter option. Hubs had traditional BBQ which he really enjoyed - he got mashed potatoes as a side which were OK but he raved about the brisket, chicken and beans. My son got a fried chicken sandwich, it was also outstanding. Well fried and seasoned with crispy bacon. He got fried okra as a side and they were tasty, fresh and hot.
