Yum! The lamb and beef gyro is so good! Came for lunch after farmers market. Highly recommend!

The beef/lamb gyro bowl is to die for! The service was amazing! I'm going back again today for lunch for sure! There's free parking in lot 10 around the corner for 75mins. I really like the area surrounding, so many neat little stores to check out as well. 10/10 would recommend if you're a fan of Mediterranean food!

I visited Nick the Greek on a Monday and it was not crowded. There's ample seating and it is good for small or large parties. The staff was nice and our food was tasty. I got the falafel wrap and my partner got the Souvlaki plate. Would recommend it!

This was maybe the grossest attempt at "Greek food" I've encountered. I know this is a chain restaurant and wasnt expecting high level service or flavor but this was horrible. The pita bread was all burnt and crunchy, couldn't even eat it since it was so charred & rigid. This chicken kebab was rare and soft/pink/white. It was extremely undercooked as was this steak kebab. Both lacked any sort of seasoning or flavor. Look how dull & grey the meat is. The salad was brown and lettuce seemed old. Also not sure if the chef ever cooked Greek food but cilantro doesn't go with it in, also perhaps try slicing these massive onion chunks into something a normal person would eat. Employed seemed condescending calling everyone "boss" and it was off putting. Either way I won't return, which is sad because I enjoy Greek food and it's not offered in many places in SB.

Super fresh and delicious food! This place is so consistent across locations, you can never go wrong with Nick The Greek. Wish it was slightly less expensive, but also very competitive pricing for what you get.

Great food experience and a great location. The food was super fresh and fast. We sat outside on the patio and the food was brought out to us. Didn't expect that service. The staff was also super friendly and kind. We asked a bunch of questions about the difference in the plates and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was also very clean and well kept which made for a comfortable place to eat.

I come here quite often for the Dubai chocolate sundae. Service is always good and I enjoy their other food items as well like the Nick fries.

I order takeout from here at least once a month - in large part to their BOGO deal on Uber Eats pickup. It's only a couple blocks from my house and I've always had a great experience. Staff is friendly and my order is almost always ready by the time I get there. The place is very clean and bright. A little atypical for something on this part of state street. Will be back again and again I'm sure. (At least as long as they keep the BOGO deal).

On our drive down from Central Coast, a friend and I stopped here for dinner. The Main Street was poppin with so many dinner spots and night life was just starting around 830pm, but we were looking forward to something fresh and quick. We shared a Greek salad, btw, the bowl doesn't have any lettuce. We clearly didn't read and were very confused. It's straight up cucumbers, olives, tomatoes, and feta. A whole bowl of it. Good thing we split because it was SO filling and a side of fries which comes with dill, green onions, feta, and a whole lotta garlic. I would omit the garlic because it was the kind where it burns your stomach. And because we drove hundreds of miles to try the yogurt, we asked for a sample. We will definitely be coming back for it very soon!

Amazing food! Would definitely come back.

Great food! Tastes good and is healthy for me. Would highly recommend! I think it's the best bowl I have tried in a while.

Food was absolutely amazing and great service as well. Got the gyro bowl and it was as solid volume and taste.

The gyro plate was delicious -- perfectly seasoned meat, fresh veggies, and generous portions. For the price, it was a great deal. Service was fast too, so I didn't have to wait long for my food. Definitely a solid spot if you want a tasty, filling meal without breaking the bank. Will be back!

They have white lanterns hanging around the exterior and on the ceiling of the interior, which add an element of fun. It is quite cramped in this space, so they also offer outdoor seating and there was even patio seating in an area across the street. I was able to quickly place my meal and received a buzzer to let me know when to pick it up at the counter. The food was incredible! I ordered the falafel plate and a lamb kofta sandwich. The sandwich was loaded with veggies and the lamb had such delicious flavor! The falafel plate was so filling and came with a good amount of items. They gave us pickled cabbage, carrots, and cauliflower, which I still miss! Wish I could've bought a bottle of them! SO GOOD. The meal was filling but not heavy! It was perfect. The only issue that I'd like to point out, which isn't big but did bother me was that the water station that they offered didn't have any indication of which silver cups were clean and which were dirty. I asked a guy who was sitting next to it and he said, "Drink at your own risk." Also, if you're not a fan of little birds flying around during your meal, you might have an issue. They aren't scared of going around people. One jumped on our table and I had to move our drinks away. Aside from that, it was a solid meal and we still enjoyed ourselves!

I tried the chicken kebab which came with rice pilaf and a fattoush salad. It was a good portion of chicken and not to mention very juicy. My table also ordered the trio of dips as an appetizer - hummus, pistachio spread, and baba ghannouj. My only recommendation is to make the bread included with the trio spreads. To add an extra $4 for 4 small slices of pita was a bit unreasonable if you ask me. Besides that, it was a nice dining experience I'd suggest for date night, a girls night out dinner, or even to celebrate a special occasion (bachelorette party, birthday, anniversary).

This location is in Santa Barbara's "Funk Zone" district, which was formerly an industrial area that's turned into a wine and art district full of interesting places to gander. The Good: * Huge dog-friendly covered outdoor seating * Full lineup of their signature Shalhoob craft beers. They also have fermented grapes and liquor, if beer isn't your jam. * Service was friendly and welcoming. * Street Parking and City-owned lots, as well. The lots are your best bet, and they're free for a short while. * Prices are very reasonable for a BBQ place. * The Street Corn app might be the best thing we ate here as the corn was super fresh right off the cob, and the Chipotle aioli was superb. * BBQ Beans was more of a bean soup, but it was decent. * Mac & Cheese was also pretty good. Carrots enjoyed it more than I did, but I might've been grumpy from the shitty meats (more on that in a minute). The Meh: * Tritip was completely dry and tasted like it was cooked in the oven and then finished on the grill. But, I will say, at least it was edible unlike the ribs... The Ugly: * Maybe the worst ribs I've ever had. They were just completely hammered with salt and completely blew out my palate within two bites, which is a shame because they were tender and cooked well, but jfc, no amount of sauce or anything is going to save something this salty. Conclusion: Maybe we just caught them on a bad day because a place doesn't survive for over fifty years serving up meat like this. I'd be willing to give them another try someday, but I need my tongue to recover first.

Honestly... save your money…read more I dropped by this Jordanian restaurant /hookah lounge to chill for a bit, have a beer, and enjoy some hookah. It looked like a cool vibe from the outside, but the whole experience left me super disappointed. When I walked in, the place was empty--just the owner and two staff. No greeting, no welcome, just awkward silence while the owner stayed on the phone trying to fix what sounded like a billing issue. The staff didn't speak much English (which is fine), but there was no real effort to help or explain anything either. Eventually, I got a hookah and a beer--$48.50 for one hookah and one beer. Yeah... nearly $50. No food, no extras. That's wild. Then I was told I had to smoke outside on the back patio, which turned out to be a tiny little corner--maybe 6 by 10 feet--with uncomfortable chairs and a random wood bench. It took 15 minutes to even get the hookah (remember, no one else was there), and when it arrived, it was totally burnt. Overpacked, harsh hits, and I ended up having to scrape it and fix it myself just to get it to smoke right. Wanna know the kicker? You only get three coals. That's it. No refills unless you pay for more. No one checked on us for almost an hour, and when I finally asked for more coals, they said (in broken English and mostly Spanish) that that's all you get unless you pay extra. I've smoked hookah all over the place--three coals is nothing, especially when you're charging $35+. No one came around, no vibe, no music, no nothing. Just me, my burnt hookah, and a beer that wasn't even cold. I really tried to find something redeeming about this place, but nothing hit. The service wasn't there, the product wasn't good, and it honestly felt like I was bothering them just by being there. Bottom line: for $50, you can do way better just about anywhere else--or even at home. Hope they turn it around, but for now, I wouldn't recommend it.
