Ordered at the host stand. It was simple enough. Thankfully there was a table available outside for my family. It took 20 minutes for food to be delivered. We had to remind about waters and utensils. Other tables got their drinks and utensils right away so this was a bummer. Smash burger isn't smashed. It was a good juicy burger but not a smash burger. The two side pickles were probably the best part. Thick and crispy! The fries were fine. Nothing special, just fries. I was mainly disappointed as i wanted a smash burger. The children's chicken tenders had great texture but no flavor. It was so odd because they looked so good. The wedge salad was fine. I loved the toppings but would've preferred a dressing other than balsamic. I will likely come back because the tacos looked good and i didn't have any alcoholic beverages. Maybe a margarita and tacos will be my go to options here.

The Neighborhood Grill just opened and left our group impressed! Everything we ordered was delicious. No complaints whatsoever. Prices here are very reasonable for what you get. This location was formerly home of La Cantina, but has since closed and rebranded. I'm rooting for this restaurant to succeed! I ordered the margarita and it was strong in a good way. Can't complain for $12. For food, I went with the mushroom burger. It was so good!! I loved the char grilled flavor and the mushrooms were delicious. I usually don't finish a whole burger, but this one was too good! Juicy and flavorful. My friends ordered several appetizers, such as the poke nachos, street corn ribs, whiskey glazed pork belly, champagne mushroom toast, and whole lotta burrata. Every single one was flavorful. I really enjoyed the pork belly bites. They melted in my mouth and the flavor was amazing. The poke nachos were fresh and the corn ribs were nicely charred and topped with a yummy honey lime aioli. If you like mushrooms then order the champagne mushroom toast!! You won't be disappointed. The sauce is made with creamy garlic, lemon and shallot. Customer service was friendly and they did great for their first night. Overall, first day of opening was a success and I really hope they continue to get business here. I'll definitely be back!

My buddies and I decided to stop by here on a Saturday night assuming it would be packed. It wasn't busy so we were sat immediately. Such great service! Food was fast and drinks were spot on. All 3 of us ordered the blue burger which was delicious!! We sat outside which was nice since the weather was perfect. I would highly recommend this place to any friend or family.

Great food, great drinks, and an even better atmosphere! Ted is awesome to chat with!! The grilled street corn was amazing, the cocktails were delicious, and it was the perfect spot to watch the FIFA match. Amazing service! We'll definitely be back! #SantaBarbara #NeighborhoodGrill

Even so, we were seated at our preferred outside table within 30 minutes. It was crowded but the team is efficient. Our table outside had beautiful views. Our server came immediately to ask for drink orders and questions about the menu. She was very kind and made our dining experience excellent. We ordered: 3lb rock crab special $60 as of 8/2926: 5 stars! The crab was sweet and delicious. They serve the crab heads cleaned so if you want the tomale, be sure to mention when ordering. It was a treat to eat seafood at its origin; the taste was exceptional. Lobster pasta: acid forward with a good amount of lobster Dozen Laguna oysters: excellent Lobster bisque: rich and buttery, very good Fried combo: our least fave, ymmv! Kids meals are available. Highly recommend for the ambiance and food quality. The 1000m walk to the end of pier is fun with lots of historical tidbits. Happy eating!

Between the great service, incredible ocean views, watching the people dive into the ocean and the consistently delicious food, it's an experience you don't want to miss. This visit, I tried the Laguna oysters. Our server mentioned they're on the saltier side, and they definitely were. My boyfriend loved them, but I personally prefer the smaller, sweeter oysters. It really comes down to personal preference. We also ordered our usual clam chowder, which is hands down one of the best I've had. It's packed with clams, rich, creamy, and full of flavor. We couldn't leave without getting the scallops and uni as well. Always fresh, simple, and always excellent. The combination of fresh seafood, unbeatable waterfront views, and consistently great food is why we keep coming back. Already looking forward to visit number five

I only go to Santa Barbara once a year for Fiesta and I finally was able to try them. Everything I ate was delicious! I started out with the Bengala de Granada, which was a mocktail of pentire coastal spritz, pomegranate, ginger, lime, cinnamon, and clove. It was so refreshing on a hot Fiesta day. Under the Bocaditos menu, we ordered the denia (confit tomato, cured bluefin tuna) and the croquetas de seta (porcini and truffle with a saffron aioli). The denia set the tone for dinner with the bright acidity of the tomato with the salty tuna. The croquetas were rich of umami flavor with an undertone of truffle that paired well with the brightness of the saffron. Under the charcuterie menu, we got the jamón tasting that included pan con tomate. The tomatoes were bright and paired well with the different salty hams, which were serrano, ibérico, and iberico chorizo. For the tapas, we got the tortilla española, patatas bravas, broccolini, and the ensalada mediterránea. It was a good balance of light and heavy dishes. The broccolini and salad were the light dishes. The broccolini was nicely seared and the romesco sauce added a nutty flavor. The Mediterranean salad was herbaceous with pops of richness from the manchego cheese. The rest were on the heavier side. Though, the eggs of the tortilla española were incredibly fluffy. It was like biting into a cloud. The potatoes were also soft. It was a comforting dish. And then there were the patatas bravas, my favorite tapa! They were slightly crisp with a bit of heat from their house sauce and garlic aioli. Each bite was as satisfying as the next. And then the star of the show came right when we finished most of the tapas - the chorizo and chicken paella. The rice was pressed against the pan so every bite had that prized soccarat. The char of the soccarat harmonized with the depthness of the tomato and other aromatics in the rice. It was luxurious. And the chicken was juicy and had a wonderful smoky flavor. The portions of chicken, chorizo, and mushrooms were generous! It can definitely feed a family of six, so we were able to have leftovers as we were a family of three. And it was even better the next day! No matter how full we are, we always have dessert to share. We ordered the crema catalana, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. It was silky smooth and the caramel flavor went so well with the sweet and slightly tart Santa Barbara strawberries. I imagine this restaurant is always busy, but it was even more so during Fiesta. It's loud inside and out, but it's adds to the festive vibes. Service was excellent! I very much appreciated that our waiter confirmed our allergies. He even put the romesco sauce on the side just in case since it had almonds. Luckily, my nut allergy is contained to only pine nuts because I enjoyed the sauce very much. I recommend eating outside to enjoy their patio space. Since they only open for dinner, the heat isn't as bad since it gets cooler around the time they open. Loquita is at the start of the Funk Zone. So parking is extremely limited. Best to walk or ride-share there. I don't think I can wait for the next Fiesta to dine here again. I hope to be back sooner.

Highly recommend reservations for any day. The crudo dish was great. Sauce and presentation was excellent. Cons: The fusion styled sauce and misc ingredients added to the beef carpaccio dish was over the top. Keep it simple. The Pulpo dish did not have a sufficient portion of octopus. Only two and half small pieces for $29. Ridiculous. Bar/cocktail service was an extremely long wait. All nearby tables also waited an extremely long time for drinks. Recommend adding another bartender on busy nights.

To be honest, this place wasn't my first choice initially, but after a long day of partying, hunger won out--and I'm so glad it did! The service was impressively fast, which is exactly what you want when you're "hangry" at the end of the night. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful while we loaded up on a spread of a burrito, flautas, and tacos for the group. The food was way better than I expected; the flautas had that authentic, homemade style that hit the spot, and the tacos were solid. My friend finished the burrito with zero complaints, so it's safe to say everyone left happy. They also have a good beer selection to keep the vibes going. The only real downside--and the reason for four stars instead of five--is that they close surprisingly early. It's definitely not a late-night spot, so make sure you head over for an earlier dinner rather than waiting until the end of the night. If you're staying at the Hyatt, this is a must-try!

The complimentary chips were fresh, light, and warm! So delicious, I ate it within minutes with their mild red salsa that was chilled, runny, flavorful, and very very delicious. I love love love their salsa here and we refilled it another time, and they even gave us a container to take to go with a whole bag of FRESH CHIPS AND TOSTADAS. So generous!!! We ordered the chile verde and green aguachiles. The chile verde was absolutely scrumptious, but the meat could've been more tender for sure. It was stewed well and had great flavor but was pretty hard and dry. Their beans and rice was amazing and I couldn't get enough. Aguachiles are one of my favorite foods and I almost always order it if I see it. Their style was beautifully presented, spicy, and refreshing, although I would've liked it a little more chilled and the shrimp could use a little more attention to detail since 2 weren't deveined like the rest. It was definitely more on the raw side but I personally like it that way and I didn't have any stomachaches. It's beautiful on the patio especially during sunset. The chips, salsa, water never stopped flowing. I liked that they had multiple servers and bussers and food runners who all were incredibly kind and friendly. Each time they passed by our table they glanced at our food and drinks to see if we might need anything else before we asked for it. Incredibly thoughtful. When packing up I asked if I could get some salsa to go and she asked if I wanted chips, and I said just tostadas since I had leftover aguachile. She gave me BOTH!! Love it here, would come back a thousand percent.
