What a beautiful spot! So thankful there is another healthy and delicious place for takeout when doing lunch with my coworkers within a reasonable distance from my work. Food was excellent all around. My salad was perfect seriously well balanced with protein and fiber. My coworkers all got different sandwiches and they were all satisfied with the uniqueness of the sandwiches. I also loved the passion fruit tea because it was unsweetened so that was a win. The cashier was friendly and helpful in answering my questions. Price was on point for the salad. I'll be a frequent flyer for sure. I would love it if they did a reward system because that's just a bonus to keep coming back!

Thai chicken wrap sandwich (first visit perfection)

I visited twice this week, and my experiences were very different. My first visit was excellent. I ordered the Thai Chicken Wrap and Lemon Chicken Farro Soup online before arriving. To my surprise, my order was ready about 10 minutes earlier than expected. An attentive employee greeted me, handed me my bag right away, and everything was packaged neatly. The food was fresh and delicious. I especially loved the Thai Chicken Wrap. The cilantro flavor really stood out, and the ingredients tasted crisp and fresh. The only drawback was the dining area. I tried sitting both outside and inside, but the acoustics made it surprisingly noisy in both spaces. Because I enjoyed the wrap so much, I ordered it again a few days later. This time I also ordered online, arriving about 10-15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. The restaurant was extremely busy, so I waited at the pickup area. When my promised pickup time came and went, my order still hadn't appeared. After asking an employee, she looked around and discovered my sandwich had been sitting behind the counter and had never been bagged for pickup. She apologized and kindly gave me a complimentary drink, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the sandwich itself wasn't nearly as good as my first one. It seemed like it had been sitting for quite a while. The lettuce and spinach had wilted from the dressing, there were noticeably fewer carrots, and it had a spicy kick that my first wrap didn't have. The first one had a fresh, bright cilantro flavor, while this one just wasn't as enjoyable. Since these wraps aren't inexpensive, consistency is important. I'm hoping my second experience was simply the result of a very busy day and a new restaurant working through the rush. I'd definitely order the Thai Chicken Wrap again because my first one was excellent, but next time I'll probably order in person rather than online, since my pickup order was overlooked while walk-in orders seemed to be moving more quickly.

A new Mendocino Farms in Santa Barbara! We are very excited about the opening and signed up to get a free sandwich with purchase. We ordered not so fried chicken and prosciutto chicken sandwiches. Both sandwiches are delicious and taste exactly like from other locations. The staff is professional and courteous. The decoration and the cows on the wall brighten up my day.

Food is excellent, have tried a few sandwiches and all have been good. The not so chicken sandwich has been the best so far.

For a new sandwich shop in town I loved it! Everything was spot on pretty good. The sandwich was the "Top Seller" the cashier said. I was definitely intrigued to try this place for the first time. It was quick to put my order in, however some reason I signed up early to get a "free" sandwich for their grand opening but that email never went through or I signed up to late after the deadline. (Please let me know if you had that issue too) also overall great ambiance the place was clean and very brand new. Stop by for a good quick sandwich, salad or soup to your must tries. I'll be back definitely to try another sandwich and soup next time.

Had a pleasant visit here yesterday. The Peruvian Steak sandwich was flavorful and the quality of steak was impressive. The curry couscous was yummy too. Service was excellent! Even though the order was to-go, I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff during our short time spent here. It's a clean and well lit atmosphere. I plan to try some of the juices and maybe the heirloom BLT next.

Mendocino farms has the best sandwiches in Santa Barbara, incredibly fresh ingredients, stellar service and some of the best vibes I've experienced at a "fast" restaurant in Santa Barbara. Do yourself a favor and go try the not so fried chicken sandwich... it's incredible... Watch out jersey mikes... there's a new game in town!

It has house made tender brisket, fresh pickled veg on a baguette. So delicious! You can also get it as a salad! You'll never even miss the bread! The Daisy burger. Big meaty patty, with melty cheese, piled high with lettuce, tomato and red onion with a special sauce on a buttery brioche bun! You can really sink your teeth into this one! It also comes with a generous portion of perfectly crispy on the outside tender on the inside fries! Mmm mmm!!! They get really busy so come early!! Definitely a must try!

You order at the counter and the food is brought over to your table. The service was friendly, though it could have been better--we had to get our own water, cutlery, and napkins and nobody came to check on us throughout the meal. Maybe that was because we came right at opening on the weekend. Food-wise, some dishes were better than others. The smoked brisket banh mi was disappointing, mainly because the brisket was chewy. The burrata-tomato salad with added chicken breast was good and felt fresh and satisfying. The chicken salad sandwich was okay, but the bread was too hard, which made it less enjoyable. On the positive side, my son really enjoyed the kids' grilled cheese sandwich with fries. Overall, The Daisy has a lovely atmosphere, and a great dog-friendly patio, but the food was a bit hit-or-miss during our visit.

It feels expensive upfront but with portion sizes, it's a great deal. For a lighter meal, just share a sandwich and soup with a friend, a lover, whoever! The house lemonade and tea are delicious, with the lemonade being perfectly sweet and tart. Soup of the Day was French Onion, which is on the sweeter side, and comes with cheese and a crostini soaking up the broth. Onions are very nicely caramelized. It was tasty but the portion of this soup was a bit large for the intensity of the soup sweetness, almost like syrup after eating it enough. Any other soup - I'd be fine with the portion size. Partner's review of the BLT: "Plenty of bacon and toasted very nice on sourdough, the sourdough with the soup was balanced. I can tell they added a little bit of butter on the sourdough for the extra crunch. Vegetables - they're vegetables, FRESH though." I had The Griller, hot with provolone on a bolillo roll. Packed with flavor from the peppers and olives, plus all the meat protein was the bomb!

The food is on the pricier side but the portions are generous. Nothing was bad, but most of the food isn't spiced as much as I'd like for mediterranean food. What I liked: The bread fluffy and delicious. The babaghanoush The pickled veggies The croutons on the fattoush (big, crunchy, yummy) What was ok: The chicken plate was ok. Cabbage was bland and the chicken/rice was missing flavor as well. Also comes with a generous side of hummus which I think needed more lemon and garlic. Fattoush... i liked the croutons and the freshness of the veggies but the dressing could be stronger. The dip trio ... the babaghanoush was good, but the lebneh wasn't sour enough. The whipped feta was sweet which wasn't bad but didnt go with the other flavors. Overall there was nothing wrong with this place. I have to say, although there were two staff working on drinks, my latte took a while. Luckily, it came before the food. There was a staff member waiting at the counter and delivering just drinks. Once I got my latte, it tasted good. Strong. I felt the caffeine. The avocado toast was good, too. It was served in a shallow metal dish. Thick, high quality, Artisan bread. I enjoyed the toasted pumpkin seeds. I would definitely order it again, but open to ordering something else on the menu next time. Staff are friendly, welcoming, and efficient.
