I have used Nick's exclusively for repairing my cars for 15 years and trust Nick Bartoletto, the owner, completely. He has helped me resolve every mechanical problem with 4 different cars over these years. Because this is a very busy shop, I always try to make an appointment in advance and show up with a printed list of concerns, a completion time request, and a further request that he call before working on anything that is significant in time and cost. I always go through my list with Nick or his son, Kevin. If there are expensive repairs, Nick usually gives me alternatives that meet my budget. Over the 15 years, this approach has never disappointed me. When emergencies arise, I always have AAA tow my car to Nick's for a rapid response that is reasonable in cost. The most honest and reliable repair shop there is. Went there for brakes because the dealership(had a free oil change) said they were needed but Nicks took a look but said no brakes are needed for at least another 6K miles. When I did go back for brakes they were literally half the price the dealership wanted. There work is outstanding. read more

This review is for the Gulf repair station on the corner of Sea Cliff Ave and McGrady St. Nick's Auto Repair Center is one of the few honest repair shops around. They never try to upsell the customer. Because of this, it gets busy so try to make an appointment if possible. read more
