We ordered a big assortment from Nick's Gyros & Phillys in Columbia -- double burgers, gizzards, wings, gyros -- and EVERYTHING was absolutely amazing. The food was fresh as can be. You could tell it was cooked to order. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, the wings were crispy and seasoned perfectly, the gizzards were on point (hard to find good ones like that), and the gyros were loaded and tasted incredible. Portions were generous, everything was hot, and the quality across the board was consistent. When you order a variety of items and every single thing hits, that says a lot. I have ordered 3-4 times through delivery. The first time was very good. It was my first time getting the veggie pita. I have ordered it 3 other times including to day; I also ordered onion rings every time. Onion rings - twice perfect & other times overcooked & today sweat made them not crispy. Veggie pita today had lettuce tomato & mayo along with the grilled onions mushroom, green peppers , other grill veggies. All the other times didn't have sub type ingredients- and the ingredients are not listed on the menus, for Uber 1, I couldn't have asked to have it taken it off since I didn't know it was there. UberEats doesn't have a place for details about the Restaurant-but I did see that it is showing 3/5 stars on multiple sites. Probably will only order if I can go into the restaurant so I can get all the details, order and check my order. It costs too much for food you will not eat. Ordered the gyro and five chicken wings combo, and a side of yellow rice and black beans. I didn't like the rice and beans much, but that's not to say they weren't good. I just didn't have the taste for them. Having said that, the portion was a meal in itself for being a side order. Well worth the value. The wings were great with BBQ sauce. Nothing to write home about but very satisfying. The gyro was impressive. It wasn't dressed up pretty like most restaurants do. It looked and tasted like a gyro that could've been made in my kitchen (if I knew how to make gyros). It's definitely one of my favorites. Great job! So this Nick's location is in a sketchy neighboorhood and just beware of that if you go at night. Pretty sure they're open 24 hours. This place is a total dive and you cannot see into the kitchen at all. Scares me....clean? Yeah, I don't know. The dude running the cash register was super friendly and I liked him a lot, but the gyro I ordered was lukewarm at best and they put some sort of weird salt on the fried okra I ordered. By far, the best part about our experience here was how friendly the counter guy was. Nothing else was redeemable about it. This is a drunk people eatery. If I were still in college and was looking for wicked cheap grub and was buzzin' hard core, this place would suffice, but I'm way past that now. Think Waffle House, but sketchier. This was a horrible experience. I wanted a 10 wing combo, but was told that this was not an option even though a 10 wing combo with a drink is listed on their website. I ordered the wings and "cajun" curly fries separately, but received lackluster wings and Great Value curly fries. The meal cost almost $19 and I didn't even have a drink. The ranch and ketchup they provided was cheap (Monarch brand) and so were the hard napkins that were barely useable. It's clear this restaurant is only concerned about money which means they're perfectly fine with offering gross food at ridiculously high prices. Save your money if you want wings and just go to Wing Stop. Nick's a no frills hole- n the wall spot for seafood that tastes pretty good. The prices are quite affordable. I always get a seafood combo that comes with fish and 8 shrimp, coleslaw and fries and it's around 13 bucks. My food is always hot which is a plus, but I do always have a long wait for it. If you can catch them on the phone, call it in ahead. They have a drive through, but be prepared to wait. Use your own hot sauce because whatever they are using is not a look. Staff is friendly enough, but sometimes nonchalant. I don't mind much as long as my food is good. I always have consistently good service when I have my order delivered through a delivery app. read more

The wings were good and hot (got the buffalo) and I got the Philly chicken and it was overwhelming enough to eat without fries and I added some ranch to it and it was perfect. Nick's has been one of my favorite local spots since I moved to the area in 2013. This particular location on Bush River is my favorite out of all of the locations. The food is always great. The staff can be a little gruff at times, but they've never been outwardly rude or unaccommodating. There isn't an item on the menu that I have tried that I did not enjoy, and no matter what I get I always have to get an order of fries as well. The shrimp as an appetizer were jumbo in size, seasoned and fried just right. The gyro was not as flavor packed as the rest of the food. My daughter and I recently got Greek salad with gyro meat to go, with tzatziki sauce. Really good food and generous portions. And a very good tasting dolmada was included in the salad. Nick's is pretty small. It was the end of lunch hour, so the place was really busy and service was slower​ than one might expect. We did have to ask more than once for several things, as they weren't included in our to go order. Things like straws and napkins. And salad dressing. And the tzatziki sauce we had especially added to the order. I enjoy coming here because the service and their business hours are great! I work late so with their late hours it's accommodating. If I request something specific, I get exactly that. I can't have too much salt and Nick's does use their fair share of salt. When I order the fried shrimp with mild sauce with light seasoning. Got the Gyro and Wings. Service as expected for fast food. Gyro was "real" gyro meat (not the pre-sliced, rectangular cafeteria junk) and pita was excellent. The tzatziki sauce was not my favorite. It seemed more like mayonnaise than normal. No feta on the gyro! If they redid the sauce and added feta, that would make it awesome. Overall good gyro and the best gyro I have had in Columbia area; the only one with freshly sliced gyro meat. The wings were, good and had good flavor. They are drowned in sauce, which is not my preference, but still were good. Ambiance leaves a lot to be desired, but that's not a big deal; I wasn't expecting much. read more

I usually love Nicks, they have really fresh salads......tonight I went out on a limb to try their crab legs....one word...digusting.
