This place is never open! They are always closed no matter which day of the week you try to go there.

Hot dog stands are so common in NYC that to see one would be no real treat, however this stand is a welcome treat to the area. I was hesitant to stop in and try a dog but boy have I been missing out each time I blew passed this spot! We stopped by today and there was no disappointment. We had authentic sabrett hot dogs. The stand is very clean and signs neat & clean. It's obvious the owners care for the place and it shows. Picnic tables are setup so you can enjoy your grub. The children even got stickers as a treat with their dogs which was an added surprise. For a cheap eat I will be stopping by more often and no longer neglect this gem. read more

Ordered a hot dog here. It was good. Hot dog tasted fine but the chili on top was my favorite. They really nailed it. It's so convenient being right. Stop right in and as long as there is no line you'll be in and out in no time. Luckily for me I was the only one there and I have driven by this place when it looks packed. For 2 years we've been saying we were gonna stop and try it. My wife loves hot dogs and quite honestly surprised it has taken this long. It was so good that maybe it was best not to try it sooner because I would be YUGE! It was so good! What a nice Saturday treat for sure. Guys....yes this is a five star review for a hot dog truck. It's not a steak house but a tube steak house and if your looking for tube steaks(Hot Dogs) then this is the place. It's kept so clean, it's well run by friendly people who care about the product and community they serve. Their toppings are fantastic and fresh especially their hot and mild chili's they offer. Again if your looking for a hot dog place you won't find better in the area. Top grade sabrett hot dogs with all the fixings. Fair prices and picnic tables if you don't want to eat in your car. This review is way over do as I've been going here for 10+ years and forgot to review them. Imagine my surprise. I challenge you to try their food if your from New York or New Jersey you'll already be familiar with their product. Yummy fresh Sabrett snappy dogs! Friendly people, nice clean trucks and equipment, awesome food with ice cold drinks!! They maintain picnic tables with umbrellas at their two locations, so you can sit in the shade and take a load off. Hard to find street vendors who invest so much time and attention to their operation!!! I will make this a regular lunch spot when I pass through!!! read more

I admit, I try to stay away from Hot Dogs because they aren't the healthiest BUT sometimes you just need a dog! This is the only place I would get one. & My kids are not a big fan of the bun, but they will eat the whole Nicks Hotdog. The service is top notch.
