The salad bar was a mess and we were the first groyp there. Every bin overfilled so spilled out onto the bar. The pizza was fair to poor.The bathroom was awful. 2 stars is generous. I hope we never go there again. Nick's once was a nice place to go. Not so today. read more

This wasn't my first time having their pizza but it was my first time dining in. Service was great. The food was off the hook. Especially the fried raviolis. My one complaint is that it was a little dirty around the salad bar area so I decided not to go with that. Def a great place to eat in the high desert. read more

We did take away last night. A Hawaiian Pizza with Bell Peppers and Nick's Stix. The Stix, SO GOOD AND GREASY!!! Very garlicky and cheesy galore.... worth every calorie! And the pizza was perfect! The pizza is the best around, but I have one complaint. The flavor is great. They actually out cheese on the pizza which seems to be a lost art these days. I just don't want to get sick from the pizza. Even if I get cheese only, I get sick. I don't understand what they use that all other pizza joints do not use, but it really gets me. The "Nick's" sticks are honestly one of the best parts of Nick's Pizza , my family and I often go their for the Nick's sticks , when we dine in we also order pizza which is also quite delicious. Service is amazing and super friendly they have quick service and overall a break menu for sure their Mac and cheese bites are great ! Been several times. Always good pizza. I can only give 3 stars as the tables need to be refinished. They have become sticky/gummy. Also the chairs and booths need maintenance or upgraded. Very worn as is the carpet which needs a good cleaning or replacing. Just looking a bit shabby nowadays and should be maintained better. read more

I have had several types of pizza from Nick's and have liked them all. They are much better then the "fast food pizza" that is available at the chain places. Every time we have gone the waitress are quick and friendly. A group of our friends meets over there weekly and although our numbers go up and down we are always greeted quickly and they never have an issue splitting the check between us. read more

They have a really good salad bar and the best ranch dressing. The pizza is a little bit soggy for me, when I pick up a piece I don't expect it to fold over. Still tasty though, probably best eaten with a fork. read more

I ordered a personal BBQ chicken pizza it was delicious, the crust was perfect I would definitely order here again. The only thing that I would have liked more is if the chicken would have been shredded instead of big chunks of chicken. This is just a personal preference. This was the first time i had been to Nicks. The pizza was amazing!!!! We ordered the Nicks special and a pepperoni pizza. Both were delicious, we ordered extra sauce. The price was good. Staff was friendly. Beer on tap was only 2.50. The pizza crust was nice and toasty. Two slices were extremely filling. We will be going back with more hungry people. read more

Horrible!! $28.00 for one pizza that was burnt (black) on the bottom and raw on the top. The pizza was so under-cooked that the vegetables were crispy and ice cold. I don't think there was one tablespoon of sauce or cheese on it either. In 40 years I have never had a pizza that tasted like nothing. Honestly, it wasn't even edible it was so bad. This is the best pizza, I've been going to Nick's for over 20years, a long time and it's still good.

Up until about 2 years ago best pizza I've every had. Now after last 2 visits in a couple of months worst pizza I've ever had. A frozen pizza is better. Crust both times on 3 different pizzas each time were burnt and hard on the bottom and raw dough in the middle. Our party of 6 all decided we will never go back. Ordered a Nicks special with bacon(cost 25 dollars ). All I have is a little Bacon with a BIG Price!!!! NOT HAPPY. In the past , it was good and not anymore. This is right around the corner from our house we haven't yet ordered something we don't like the food is Simply Delicious however the inside is horribly outdated and their seating chairs and booths are extremely uncomfortable they have one tiny TV in the corner with no sound on .... this place is oddly silent they could use a jukebox to liven it up even just a jukebox with make a world of difference read more

I came here with my friends a few weeks ago. The resteraunt itself was clean and had a good relaxing but vibrant atmosphere. We had a large order so we had no problem waiting a little bit longer than we expected. After about 15 minutes of waiting we got our pizzas which tasted great and filled everyone up. Our only problem and the reason this is a 4 star review and not a 5 is because of our waitress. She seemed a little angry and gave one of the girls at our table a sarcastic remark after she overheard her asking the rest of us jokingly if soda was healthy. Maybe we took the comment in a way she didnt mean or maybe she was just having a bad day but it made some of us uncomfortable. I've been here a couple of times with family/friends and have somewhat enjoyed the pizza. My favorite menu item is the nicks sticks, they're crispy and covered in mozzarella and great seasoning. However, the restaurant always smells like toilet water and has decor that should be replaced such as carpet and broken booth seats. read more

I ordered a large pizza, half nick's special and half meat lovers. They are equal in price. When I picked up the pizza there was a $6 extra charge. The girl didn't say anything about that so when I asked she told me that there is an extra charge because she had to add extra toppings. I told her there were no extra toppings. She said the meat lovers had additional meat. I told her they are the same exact price and for half a pizza how can you add an additional $6 dollars. This WAS the best pizza in town. Not anymore. I have been buying this pizza for last 10 years but in the last several months or maybe a year, it has changed dramatically. used to be thin crust with lots of good cheese and sauce and whatever else you like. Now it is a thick crust, about 1/2 inch thick, not cooked all the way so it is doughy. Not enough sauce so tends to be dry and other ingredients are average or below. Very disappointed. Loved their pizza but not now. By the way the price went up considerablely too. I would be happy to pay the increase if the pizza was like it used to be but now Di Georgia's pizza from the supermarket is just as good and a lot cheaper. read more

Nicks offers a good pizza at a reasonable cost. I always order the meat pie which is full of meat and cheese on a thick buttery crust. Very tasty. The week-day buffett is a good deal too. The decor is a bit worn, I usually request a booth, high back seats which I like. The service is very slow even on days when there are not many folks in there. The waitresses seem to disappear after you are seated. This has been my experience on all of my visits to Nicks. However, take out orders are always on time. read more

I gave it a two, because I did not think it deserved a 1 - it could be worse I suppose. Service was just o.k., but a little slow. The enviroment/atmosphere is nothing special, but o.k. They do not seem troubled to serve wilted lettuce in their salad bar, maybe it was an off day that I tried there salad, The pizza is mediocre at best for a sit in restaurant, a bit greasy and limp - you can do much better with frozen pizzas baked at home. I have eaten here a few times, because sometimes a friend will want to go here, I would never choose this place unless nothing else was open, and maybe not even then. Worst things about it, and the reason I bothered writing a review, was to warn people of the following: Prices are way too high for the quality of the food, and mostly I think it is a rip-off, when having one mushroom, one slice of pepperoni, one nugget of sausage, makes it a 3 item pizza. If that idea is o.k., then this place may be for you. Did that happen? Not quite, but in principle yes, I ordered a half mushroom, half pepporoni pizza, and got charged for a two item pizza. I complained, but they were insistant, that since it had two items, it was a 2 item pizza, even if they did only put half as many of any one ingredient on the pizza, If that had been communicated, or had they even apologized for this unconventional policy, I would let it slide. Instead, they were cranking about it, as though I had done something wrong. Not be negative here, but they are clearly interesting in maximizing profit over customer satisfaction. So . . . Nick's! You earned 1 star, but I give you two out of pity. P.S. Maybe that isn't Nick's official policy, maybe my waitress was in a nasty mood, in any case, I left there dissatisfied, and this is the only time I ever left a restaurant, wtihout leaving a generous tip. read more
