What a wonderful experience. D'Cerboni's is my family's new favorite place to get together for dinner. Tonight we celebrated our Son's 56th birthday and 4 of us celebrated Mother's Day. 14 of us. Wow! It seemed like every staff member worked so hard to give us the best service. Great team work! We had exquisite food and everyone had something different. We tip our hats to the chef. Came here for a weekday dinner. I hadn't been here in years but it really hasn't changed much. When I mentioned it was dark, the waiter was kind enough to bring a small lamp for the table which made the night much easier. The kids had a hard time with the menu because it shows the names in Italian, but the description is in English and easy to understand. The food is still good, the ambiance nice for a date night where you might want privacy, and the staff was pleasant and attentive. I was also pleased that the waiter was able to suggest a wine like they do in fancy movies. I love wine but always forget the names of the ones I like most. Had dinner here the other night. This place is way over priced. most of the meals were over cook and way to much on the plate, other meals had almost an empty plate. However the service was great. The food was outstanding. I ordered the eggplant and requested pesto instead of the standard marinara sauce. The chef was more than happy to accommodate my request. The dish was prepared perfectly. The eggplant was tender with a perfectly crispy thin outer crust. Coupled with the pesto it was the best ever. My wife and daughter ordered the shrimp scampi and raved about the flavor. Too many restaurants serve a far too salty version; however, this was perfect. The service was second to none. The ambiance is very nice, the facility, including the restroom was very clean. My only minor complaint is the room temperature was a bit too high. It was a very hot day outside and their AC seemed to be struggling to keep up. We will definitely be back! Well done! read more

As a 100% Italian from NY, I can tell you this place never dissapoints. David has a special take on iconic Italian dishes that makes you coming back for more. I tried his stuff red pepper that was cooked to perfection and it melted in your mouth...it was stuffed with a very flavorful meatball. He even has Romano Luccatelli cheese by request if you are like me and believes Parmagian is for peasants. LOL. The drinks are great....its his family staff...the personal service is amazing. Its a far cry from D Napolis firehouse. Bring your friends and family. Tell David that Luke sent you...and be prepared for a great dinning experience here in the high desert. I promise you that you will never go to that other Italian joint on 18 in the village. I wont mention any names. Everyone I send makes this their new place for Italian. Very reasonably priced...portions are huge. Don't eat for 3 days prior if you get the Chicken Parmagian. We go back as often as possible...during the week...you can easily split a sandwhich with a friend or wife to save money. Get his French fries...they are amazing. Ask for the "Luke" sandwhich. New restaurant in the former location of Dinapoli's Fire House. No more fire truck in the dining room but the interior was very comfortable with an ambiance of having a meal alfresco on a street. The Fried Calamari appetizer came crispy and tender with small strips of basil. I ordered a hearty Rigatoni with Spicy Italian Sausages. The sauce was full of meat which tasted delicious. The large pieces of meat appeared to be meatballs which were broken up in the sauce. This is good if you are undecided on whether to add a meatball to your pasta order. The sauce has one in it already! The sausages were spicy with a fair amount of anise flavor. The garlic bread was flavorful as well. My sister ordered Linguini and Clams. The clams were very tender with a garlicky flavor. For dessert, we both had a slice of Spumoni Cake which was a perfect ending to a great meal. Service was on point, efficient and polite. The vibe of the restaurant was very intimate and romantic and had an almost candle-lit-like atmosphere. The servers are very attentive, friendly, and patient. The server treated us like family and they were interested in the occasion for our visit. The food was really fresh and made with both looks and flavor in mind. The manager Liliana was super nice, very interactive, and friendly. She took a picture of us after our meal and participated in our celebration. The bathrooms are very clean and taken care of. Gluten-free pizza was pretty good. The crust is soft and only crispy around the edge but the toppings are good, including nice chewy mozzarella cheese. And it's not salty at all. A garden salad has red bell peppers and zucchini and it's not loaded with a bunch of extra cheese. Nice. I especially liked the semi-formal atmosphere and good clientele. I was being a brat and complaining about the lighting. The lady said she would change it for us and I assumed she was just going to dim the light or something. What an amazing spot! We just moved to Apple Valley and have driven past this place on our way home every time. Tonight, after a day of more moving, we decided to try this restaurant and let's just say we found our go-to Italian restaurant. We were promptly greeted and sat. The holiday decor was so cute! We ordered the garlic bread and bruschetta and it was a perfect start! The tomatoes had so much flavor and the bread was wonderful. Then to the entrees! Oh my, where do I start? I ordered the Petto di Pollo with the risotto and my hubby ordered the New York with vodka penne and added the sausage. The steak was cooked PERFECTLY! The vodka pasta was superb. The chicken was so tender and juicy and with the sauce and garlic pieces, it took it to a whole new level. I love a good risotto and let's just say, I would totally order that just on its own. Gave this place a try for takeout for the first time and ordered a 10 inch pizza. Called over the phone and they said it would be 15 mins. When I got there they said the pizza didn't get put into the system and ended up having to wait for the whole order to be made. Walked in and noticed a lot of the nostalgic decor from the previous restaurant, which I love! We were greeted by a sweet man, guessing it is the owner. He was friendly and appeared to know some of the other diners as he seated us as he greeted them. Cloth napkins and table cloths. Very fancy on a budget feel because the prices were great for the meal. The portions are huge!!! Now onto the food... I got the pene carbonara and my sidekick got the rigatoni with bolognese sauce!!! First the carbonara was creamy and well seasoned. You tasted the bacon and flavor in every bite and it was everything I was looking for because I was torn between the carbonara and alfredo. Very yummy. The rigatoni! Chef's kiss. The pasta was cooked perfectly with the large amount of sauce with an amazing kick of spice in the meat. Loved them both! Can't wait to try more food.
