**This place is cash only** They do have an atm on site for convenience. Thai place is a hole in the wall but you can tell this family owned business has been there for a long time. The customer service was amazing and really made you feel like family when walking in. The food to me was just okay though. Nothing to write home about. To me it was missing some seasoning and flavor. I also didn't like how everything was just piled on top of each other in one tin, but that's just my preference. I would be willing to go back and try something different because the people that work there are so sweet, helpful, and welcoming. read more

I had to come here and show Nicks some appreciation after going to a terrible breakfast spot and wishing I had went to Nicks instead. Before I even go into talking about the food, I want to say the customer service here is exceptional. The lady who serves the food and takes the orders is such a sweet heart and will run to make sure you get everything you want quickly. Every staff member there is very pleasant and always smiling. Most breakfast spots now are super overpriced for no good reason, yeah we know eggs are expensive but be for real. Even with the price hike here our meals for 2 with 2 snapple went from $24 to $28 which is extremely reasonable. The portions here are also very generous for the price, hard to find nowadays. The food is always good and served piping hot. The home fries are a favorite of mine being that they're super flavorful and made with onions and peppers. The eggs are always made right, not overdone. I really can't complain about anything here. You get a platter with home fries, eggs, protein and toast for $12 give or take which is a steal in this economy. The food tastes home cooked which is a plus in my book ( I don't care for IHOP style breakfast for example lol) Now if you're looking for an IG worthy place then you probably won't like this place as it's very no frills, it has old school looking diner feel that hasn't been updated in decades. However if you want great prices, customer service and food I def recommend the place. You can always order to go if you don't care for the ambiance (or lack thereof) I do want to add that it is a cash only spot, which is probably my only complaint as I like to use Apple Pay but it is worth stopping at an ATM for. They also have an ATM in store if you don't mind using those kind of ATMs. read more

I'm always excited to walk into a whole in the wall covered in brown wall paneling and 40+ yr old booths. I took an early train into the city and needed breakfast with swine bacon. I'm obviously a lil greedy because who wakes up searching for bacon out of state. Anyways, Nick's is affordable, quaint and good. My pancakes were just right and so was the swine bacon. If yr looking for fancy, this isn't the place. Don't go with yr nose turned up looking for frills. The staff are pleasant and accommodating. the food that I get is always good. haven't had anything else on the menu but my two things, so I can't speak for everything. the lady is nice. the place is good for takeout. the only issue with this place is that, they make up their prices on the fly if it's not on the wall is what I'm guessing. one day my meal will be one price and I'll come back the next day and the price will be 0.50-$1.00 more. I don't like this I feel like I'm being gotten over on. and when I ask the lady "it went up?" she just smiles and doesn't understand. this makes me contemplate on returning or not. read more

Great little mom and pop diner. The staff is so friendly ! It's my understanding these are new owners but they're caring and kind to every customer. The food quality is great and comes out hot and quick. Loved supporting this restaurant! I ordered two orders of pancakes, a western omelette, home fries, corned beef hash, orange juice, and a hot chocolate. Total was $30 and we brought our leftovers home. Great portions. There were tons of locals and long time customers in the restaurant. read more

The owners here are a cute older couple who are very sweet and service is always fast and great with them. I always order my usual Bkfast sandwich: Egg whites with peppers, onions, turkey bacon and cheese on a roll with a side of French toast. Very simple but delicious. For a small, mom-and-pop, greasy spoon, this place was actually pretty good! Great home fries, thinly sliced, nicely fried. Onion and peppers omelette was great, not super dry, very nice. The price with coffee was $5.70. The Greek couple that owns and has operated the place for the last 40 years were committed to the community, very open, and welcoming to everyone that came in the door.
