Great place, great food, and great staff. We've been coming here almost regularly since moving into the neighborhood 5 months ago and we've never had a problem. I've had their breakfast sandwiches, the sampler plate, waffles, and my favorite - the ham and Swiss panini. All are great! If you order breakfast, try their home fries too! So good! The place gets busy but the staff does such a great job at managing the place that it's never a problem. I've never had to wait around wondering where my food was or when I'd get a seat. I super wanted pancakes. So while looking up breakfast I came across Nicky. The environment was friendly and welcoming. Our server Melissa was great she was very attentive to us. I live in the neighborhood for 11 years and decided to try it , i call to go pick up but they don't mention they don't accept Cards, when i got there haded to go back with my 3 year son to the bank. The food in this place is bad the bread is kept i think for more then 2 o 3 days. Oily eggs the home fries are kept just sitting like in a container no salt no flavor . Just bad food . read more

I've been living in this neighborhood for just about 10 years. I've gone to Nicky's for just as long. Their breakfast is EXACTLY what you expect from a great dinner, and fast! However yesterday evening I took my oldest daughter pout for dinner...we settled on Nicky's. My daughter order the chicken and waffles, and I, the grilled chicken club sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything tasted FANTASTIC. Decent breakfast and really good price. I got the pancake deluxe which was 2 eggs, 4 pancakes and sausage. They don't have booster seats for kids. There was a draft that came through the restaurant when the door opened. We sat in the middle. It seems that all the locals go here. Everyone is super nice. read more

When you crave diner food you need a real diner that's been around for decades and can deliver. You want to see diner food staples on the menu like Tuna Melt or French Toast or Spanakopita. This is no fancy restaurant and the food is presented matter of factly, but that's its charm. It's clean, the service is good, smiles abound, and you get the feel that a caring family runs this place not some chain where the workers have no real connection. All in all a Greek diner right out of the book. To me it seems an endangered species; they become rarer and rarer. Ehhhh I lived in the neighborhood 26 years before I moved and came in here once and after 10yrs came back a 2nd time and it was blah. I asked for crispy fries and they were kinda burnt. I moved to the neighborhood in January, and decided to try this place for an early Saturday breakfast with a friend. It is your standard diner, with a smaller menu. There is limited seating, and it tends to get very packed on the weekend. If you are stopping by to get pancakes, eggs, or a sandwich, you will probably find the food to be ok. However, if you are expecting anything more complicated than a veggie omelette, this place will disappoint. It's safe to say as a vegetarian, my options were very limited. Also, the wait staff can come off as rude and impatient, since they are so busy. I'd skip on this place, unless you are looking for something quick. This place has decent food service service is not so great for walkins anymore the restaurant does not take debit cards or credit cards only cash but yet they do Uber services. Whenever you want to order food they take a long time to service the people that's in front of them They care more about deliveries then they do about the community coming in on their lunch break having to wait forever. The older man believe he is the owner walks around with NO mask. There's a newer girl with long black hair that NEVER has her mask on her face. Why is she mandated to wear her mask correctly. Her hair is all over the place serving food. The other servers have hats her except for her. Looks like she gets special treatment along with the owners. I love Nicky's there's no doubt about that , but if you know steak & how you like it you know you shouldn't expect perfection from what is not a steakhouse. I ordered steak & eggs. My steak should have been cooked medium (hot pink center) I received it well done & also chewy & my eggs were over cooked I ordered over medium eggs. However I do not choose to bash Nicky's I just feel they're cooks should practice they're temp taking. My issue wasn't really with the steak to be honest it was more with my over cooked eggs. Delivery is quick!!!! We ordered French toast/pancakes with turkey bacon and it came in 10-12 minutes. We loved that it came hot too!

Stopped at Nicky's this morning for breakfast. At first sight it looked very promising. It was full with a wait. I ordered the 3 cheese omelet with bacon. The service was very quick, which we appreciated. However the omelet wasn't so great. The cheese hadn't melted and it was slightly cold. I've been ordering out from this restaurant for about 3 years, and the customer service over the phone is great. Only thing I can point out is that there bacon is terrible, it's precooked and not made fresh which is a big let down. Everything else is pretty good.
