Went in for the first time last week. Will absolutely be going back. First and foremost, the staff were all awesome from the cashier to the co-owner. Food was delicious, portions were much larger than I had expected. Prices feel slightly high looking at the menu but it's plenty of food for the money. The pretzel bites were awesome, my wife got the Impossible cheese steak and I got the buffalo chicken, both great. She also got a side of the Old Bay fries which were solid as well. Nikki's Undefeated? More like Nikki's Unbothered--because they clearly don't care about customer service. Walked in to pure chaos--the owner, Walt, yelling about his favorite team like it was his personal clubhouse. We had to shout just to place an order. I got a chicken cheesesteak and fries, my friend got a regular one. Easy, right? Nope. People who ordered after us got their food first. After 25 minutes, I asked what was up. Walt said our ticket didn't print. Michael, the other owner, said the chicken "just takes longer." So which one is it? Because those two lies didn't even try to match and they were standing next to each other. When the food finally showed up? Cold fries. Missing fries. No apology. Just blank stares. Then, when we asked for a to-go box, we got hit with "Boxes are only for cheesesteaks"--even though we just watched someone get one for their cheesesteak. The math ain't mathing. Bland food. Excuses on top of excuses. No customer service. If I wanted rules, I'd go to court--not pay $15 for a mid cheesesteak. Never again. I went here on 8/19/2024 for the first time. I got some chicken wings 6 for $12.00 I wanted lemon pepper flavor they had Garlic Parm instead they are delicious! Well, I will say Tucker can add another great resteraunt to the city. I had a 6 inch Philly. That sandwitch was nice and flavorful and cheesy. I especially loved the bean salad. The bean salad had a nice vinegarette taste,with just the right amount of onion added in. The service was a little slow,around 25 minutes. However, the quality of the food and tastes was exceptional. I've been very excited for Nicky's to open. Tucker has some great little food spots but I'm always happy for more. And it would be great to get a cheesesteak from somewhere that's not a national chain. Inside: Very nice. Clean, not crowded. The decor is super nice, and seems like more is coming. Large TVs and a good sized bar, could see coming here to enjoy a game. Lots of nods to (what I assume is?) Philly, even down to the table numbers. Food: Food came out pretty quick. Fries are solid. Well seasoned. Didn't strike me as like the best fries ever but very good. The cheesesteak is AWESOME. Great bread, lots of steak, delicious onions and nice melty cheese. My favorite thing about the sandwich though is that it wasn't super greasy. It didn't feel heavy or oily. Really loved the sandwich. The cherry peppers... a little weird? Not sure if it's a Philly thing but they were just 4 whole cherry peppers in a deli container and cost $2. The counter worker told me they'd be on the side, but I assumed they'd be chopped and something I could add on to my sandwich? Again, could just be a regional thing that I'm not aware of but I wouldn't order them again. They were good! But just snacking on peppers was a little weird. Service: not much to say here. Order at the counter and take a seat. Service was fine. Worker was friendly and nice, asked if I had any questions before ordering and walked me through the sandwich selections. Overall: 5/5. Even though Nicky's is still working out some kinks - they were assembling kitchen tables while I was in and they're Coke machine didn't want to cooperate 100% - I'm so excited to have it in Tucker. Wow Nicky's truly is undefeated. About an hour after my flight landed I knew I at least wanted a sandwich, and boy was I impressed! The best cheesesteak I've ever had is a chunky fella I've had a lot. The bartender, CC was amazing. She was helpful. She was engaging and an overall wonderful human to interact with, and the vibe of the place cannot be beat. Guys, this had to be some of the best sandwiches ever! My hubby got the Philly, which was amazing. (Of course we had to try each other sandwiches, lol) The beef was so juicy and my god, soooo much flavor! I had the Italian sub which was also divine! There was so much meat, loads of very fresh and crisp veggies, and smoky provolone. It literally took me 3 tries over a 6 hour period to eat the whole thing! It was only a 6 inch but still took me that long to eat the entire sub. The prices we thought were very reasonable for the amount of food. The pasta salad was also fantastic. About 2-3 weeks after this review I ordered through uber eats to see if the sandwich would be just as good and it was good but just not as good as getting it straight from the restaurant. I would recommend that if you're in a pinch that food delivery should be fine, but highly recommend you just go into the restaurant yourself. You'll see some good sights and can catch the game anyways so what's wrong with that?! So I'd say with food delivery 8/10, at the restaurant 1000000/10 read more

I have been eager to try this place since I saw news of it opening and it did not disappoint! I am constantly in search of good sandwiches down here (originally from NY) and these tasted like home. I got 4 half sandwiches, fried mozz, and pasta salad. The only thing I'll say I could pass on is the pasta salad. It was fine, but overpriced. Now, to the good: Italian sandwich: removed lettuce and tomato, added hoagie spread and mayo. I enjoyed this one - actually more so after it sat a half hour or so. I do wish there was slightly less mortadella and more of the other, but still a solid choice Philly: beef. Cooper cheese. Enjoyed this one as well Nick Foles: awesome sandwich. Generous chicken portions, flavorful broccoli rabe, just enough drizzle, sharp provolone worked well, didn't overpower Rocky balboa: I love a good chicken parm and this was solid. I do prefer 1 large cutlet and not pieces, but that's being nitpicky. The cutlet breading and flavor, enough sauce and mozz. Bread help up but easy to bite into. Finally a good parm! Prices are fine with me - you get way more than your average subpar sandwich spot. Ordered takeout during prime lunchtime and it was ready and waiting for me. I remember this old location used to house a restaurant called Hot Bettys. It was so good and I was so sad to see leave, but I finally decided to try this spot. This is gonna be my go to whenever I feel like a good Philly cheesesteak. The prices are not cheap but they give you your moneys worth And the best part is they have gluten-free bread.
