I've been here a handful of times and it's been a great experience each time. I've grabbed things from the case, as well as made to order items, and I'm always pleased. They have the best soups! Sweet, savory, breakfast, lunch, they're serving it all, and they're doing it well. It's always super clean, there's plenty of seating, and they're always kind and helpful. Love having a new cafe to turn to when I am craving quality baked goods and a French inspired lunch. Quiche, soups, sandwiches, and much more. I love the transformation of this space that once housed Invisible Man Brewery, which moved to another location. The setting is very spacious, relaxing, and classy. I very rarely leave a review. The front of house staff was great but when I went to the window to state that I didn't receive my soup the owner made me feel guilty saying "I just give what the ticket tells me'". He gave me half a cup of soup, begrudgingly (even though I complimented the other food I received and said I would check with the front to make sure that I did , in fact order soup). After receiving the soup, he made sure to speak loud enough for me to hear him speaking to staff, stating again - "I only give what is on the ticket and that lady said she didn't get her soup". I told the staff member sorry and she said that was what I ordered. I spent $28 on lunch and other pastries. Try not to deal with the owner if you choose this bakery and have concerns. I spend a lot of time at the Courthouse around the block working. This has been a great find. The coffee is worth the trip, but the baked goods are going to keep you coming back. I have tried the ham and cheese croissant and pecan tart. Both were scrumptious. Im going to make my way through the case. The star of the show for me was the smoked salmon. They smoke it in house and serve it on a perfect baguette. I am already back for more and very happy to have all these outrageous choices. read more

The food is fantastic. I got chicken salad on french baguette. I love it because it didn't have celery in it. I hate celery. But instead it has finely chopped nuts for texture. I have also eaten the pasties. My favorite is a crescent. It tastes authentic. I had been to Europe and that is the same taste. They also make their own soup. Also homemade jelly's, sauce and other condiments. They also have drinks. There is also a barista for your coffee fix. The store is cute. They have tables and chairs, but they have take out which seems to be the majority of orders. The restaurant has dark walls and I think the interior should be lighter. The ham and cheese croissant was so delicious, I'm a sharer and I just couldn't bring myself to share it with my husband. We also tried the almond croissant that was everything I thought an almond croissant should be, creamy/nutty/flaky greatness. I tried this cafe based on a recommendation but unfortunately my experiences (approx 10+ years of them) with a different french bakery and cafe left me with very high expectations that this one just did not meet. I tried a croissant, a latte and I shared the roasted turkey sandwich with a friend. Unfortunately I would not get any of them again. Perhaps the sandwich was just not for me but the breads including the croissant were not giving what I was craving. The croissant flavor was bitter. The latte had house made maple syrup but the maple syrup was invisible and it just tasted like a sad coffee with milk. The sandwich-- I would never have picked on my own but the staff recommended it and my friend was intrigued. I will say I was stunned by the amount of space walking in the doors and the display of pastries was quite lovely. There is honestly too much to choose from and maybe I just chose wrong! read more

Hands down the best cafe in the area! I got the roasted beef sandwich and creamy vegetables soup. They gave me the option to make it a combo, which is a smaller sandwich portion (7 compared to 11) with a soup. I also orders a ham and cheese croissant, a chocolate croissant and another specialty dessert since it was my boyfriend birthday. All of this came to a total on $24. Which is absolutely amazing for the quality you receive. Other cafes in the area are charging you $20 for a microwaved soup and sandwich. The flavors in the soup and sandwich was immaculate. The soup was buttery smooth. The sandwich has so much texture and flavor to perfectly balance the meal. I will 100% be returning. The staff was amazing, the ambiance was amazing! I had the smoked salmon and cream cheese on a baguette. It was delicious and a huge portion. I definitely will drive from Ligonier to Greensburg to eat lunch anytime. For dessert I had a fresh berry tart that was fantastic! read more

We were in town for 'Night Market'. It was our first visit, and I understand that they normally close at 2:00. We purchased 2 Lemon Tarts for my wife and I to eat once we got home. All I can say, they are authentic French baking. Looking forward to my next visit. read more
