I signed up for a deep tissue massage with Chrissy. I'm in my late 40's and have had lots of massages in my life. This might have been the worst massage I've ever had. I signed up for a deep tissue and it was far from anything resembling a deep tissue massage. It got better then I asked to increase the pressure, but still pretty lack luster. Her presence was just average and after asking for focus areas, I was still tight and didn't even feel like I received a massage. It was a complete waste of $250. Do not recommend this masseuse at all. I never felt worse paying for a massage in my life.

However, when I set up my appointment for my touch up the receptionist was unpleasant to deal with. She called me three times while I was at work to ask if I could move my appointment up. In response I told her IF I could make that I would let her know within the hour but if I did not call her then we would have to stick with my original time. This spa sends out text messages as reminders of appointment times. I received a message she had moved my appointment up so I used my lunch break to take the trip out to the spa. When I checked in the receptionist asked me why I was there because my appointment wasn't for another hour. She told me that she only sent that message in HOPES that I would call her. Extremely unprofessional, disorganized and inconvenient. I take a drive of 55 minutes to get to this specific spa. I had to sit there and wait an hour and a half for my appointment which was supposed to be with Cheyenne but it was not. Cheyenne has to go home early that day which is understanding. Things pop up and I'm understanding of that. The woman who did my lashes was new and took longer than expected. At this point I didn't mind as long as my eyelashes were done correctly (spoiler alert: they were not). At the end of my appointment the receptionist offered me an eyebrow wax "it looks like" I "could use it". The most unprofessional rude service I've ever had. I was so disappointed and irked by this situation. The picture uploaded is less than a week after my appointment date. Cheyenne came in to check on my lashes before she rushed out and kept telling the woman doing my lashes to get new glue. The way this was poorly handled really depreciates a business incredibly quickly. If anyone has a suggestion for a new lash place let me know ASAP!

She has not been returning calls and now her number is disconnected. The last massage I had with her she went about 30 minutes over my time and I told her she could just take two of my sessions off of my package. She instead offered me a cash massage at $75 and insisted on riding or walking with me to an ATM. That was a very awkward and uncomfortable situation to be in. I should have refused and I saw this as an act of desperation. If you use her services, pay only for the service and not a penny more. Not sure where she may turn up next.

Best advice ever, very grateful for Eric's outstanding recommendation and even more indebted to have a professional like Joanne looking to keep this body functioning. As a typical runner, I abuse my body with a lot of running miles (trails and road, speed and recovery). She is always working her magic to get this body ready to keep on training and racing. Last year I damaged my ankle (deltoid ligament tear and posterior tibialis tendinitis)and went through PT. But honestly it was Joanne's healing hands breaking up the adhesions and increasing my ankle's range of motion so I could race in one of my bucket list runs (JFK 50 miler). She is always quick to assess problems that are brewing due to bad form, wrong shoes, etc. and provides great insight on what I need to focus on to avoid future injuries. I respect Joanne's knowledge and understanding of how different sports impact the body in different ways. She has given me "homework" on how I can strengthen weaknesses to avoid future injuries and I appreciate this preventative "medicine" approach.
