This salon is doing an amazing job taking care of every detail to keep everyone safe during COVID! I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for great color, cut, and nail services! They offer great retail product selection as well.

Pictures to show what my mom, sister, and I had done with our hair at this salon. To be honest, I liked my hair cut, and the style done. However, we purchased a Groupon that was worth $210 of balayage and hair cut. I ended up being charged an additional $65 on top of my Groupon for extra product used in my hair. I requested a rose color, which you cannot see in my hair. That was the majority of what I paid for. My sister asked for a similar color to me in the beginning, but half way through the stylist said they ran out of pink. But offered to change the color, and the stylist suggested purple. She then told her that to change the color would be an additional $55. My sister found a picture of purple she liked after this, and the stylist said she can do that. The picture she found is what is pictured as her request. In summary for this: The salon ran out of product.. and then tried to charge her more money to fix their mistake. The after picture is my sister with her now $265 worth of balayage. There is no purple. After letting the owner and stylist know she cannot see purple.. (that as you can see is clearly not visible) they offered to add more purple, for an additional $33. My sister let the owner know that she should not need to pay for what is clearly their mistake. The owner bullied and yelled at her. But eventually came to the conclusion that she would waive the additional fees that "should be paid." My sister left a review on the salons Facebook, which they've since decided to hide Facebook reviews. I've attached a screen shot of the owners original reply that she's since deleted. The "as explained" bit in her reply, about needing multiple visits, was never explained to any of us until after it was over. We all would have chosen a different color/shade or something, that would have shown right away, if we'd known that. We didn't go to school for this, we're not professional. We looked up "cute balayage" or whatever on google, and found pictures we liked. It's the professionals job to say "that won't work with your hair" or "that won't work without multiple visits". If all you tell your client is "yes, I can do that" but it doesn't turn out, that's on the professional, not the client. They need to be honest with their clients, so situations like this don't happen. My mother ended up in tears last night at dinner, because she was so embarrassed to be at a restaurant. She's literally afraid for her older grandkids to see her, and be laughed at. Nobody should feel that way after leaving a salon and spending hundreds of dollars. I do not recommend this salon whatsoever, especially for unnatural hair colors.

Stylists are very good. Quality haircut and highlights but the price was so outrageous that I do not think I'll be going back.

Changes is great - I love Dayna. She listens to what I want and then figures out how to create it which is exactly what I want in a stylist.

Had a Mani/Pedi and it was great! The chairs are awesome and the girl (brianna?) did a great job. The polish lasted forever.

I will say that Lex was hospitable and fast, the service only took about 30 minutes. However it was disappointing on so many levels, starting with the tacky fake plants outside. The bathroom was cute and clean, but as I walked back to the appointment room there was a bunch of junk stacked by the wall, and the appointment room was brightly lit with uncomfortable paper bedding. I am used to wax spas using nice soft linens. When my wax was over she left the room and did not offer me any sort of wipe to clean up with (as is customary in my experience) and also missed quite a lot of hair in the back. When I met her at the register and told her about this she did offer to go back in and fix it, but I really didn't want to bother with going back into that gross room and undressing again. Typically at a wax spa you would be offered a hand mirror to check before they actually leave the room and have you get dressed again. I was also disturbed by the fact that there wasn't a sink or even hand sanitizer in the room. I can only hope that she was going into the bathroom between clients to wash her hands but who knows! Anyway, definitely would not return. Not for me.

I had low expectations…read morefor this because a friend I went with said she thought Village Nail Spa had fine pedicures. I thoroughly enjoyed the pedicure. We had scalding hot water which my friend really enjoyed. The massage chair was nice - there were different settings and it beat my back up pretty good. The actual nail cutting was standard. Didn't seem like anything special. I really loved the foot and calf massage. She used a mixture that included some crystals that felt really nice as she rubbed legs and feet. The mixture smelled of oranges and was amazing too. Using that mixture is smart because the pressure of the massage probably wouldn't even matter - it would feel great no matter what. Each leg got a rub down with that mixture, then a subsequent rub down with lotion equal in length. Both massages included good quick pressure up and down the calves and shins in different areas, similar pressure along the top and bottom of the feet, good focused pressure on the middle bottom of the foot, snapping of the toes, and some pressure around the backs of the feet. All of it was excellent. If I lived in the area I would definitely go back. I thought $30 for 45 min to an hour's worth of work was a very fair price!

About $80 for a gel mani and pedi. Would totally go back! Edit: so unfortunately I wanted to give an update because it's been 8 days and all but two of my nails have peeled right off. It's like there is something between my nail and the gel. I dropped from a 5 to 3 star--the place itself is very nice and clean and the actual mani pedi was great but my manicure didn't hold up at all. I didn't work this past week or do anything to damage them so I really just don't understand.
